Months? Amateur! When you hit a decade then come back to me.
No but seriously any reason why you feel this way? Something occured in your life or is it just an unexplainable spiritual funk?

There is a rehatnama i have i shall post it here when i have time, one of its rehats is that a Sikh should never be miserable. Whenever you feel it you should remember its all in the mind, its just a state of mind, infact it is an illusion. The best thing to remember is that everything is happening in God's will. My tip listen to keertan, music has the ability to change you completely.

That's actually GOOD NEWS.. This is a sign of vairaag (detachment) so use it to meditate on God.. Maya (wordly things/illusion) will not fill this emptiness and if it does it will only do it for some time. Why waste your time running after maya when God is waiting for you with open arms.. Just surrender towards him and your lonliness and emptiness will be filled with so much love and Joy that nobody can take this away from you again.
I was him and he was me - it was me finding me and how could that be?

when you care about nothing and feel lost look towards the one who created you, your lord (waheguru).... read the japji sahib you will soon realise who you want (your soul) to come home to.
Financial debt is slavery, don't become a financial slave.
Only slave your should be is slave for propagation of Sikhi and slave for the victory of Waheguru.

I dont think I am depressed, but I have this hunger for something in life, and I feel like I have no purpose or direction. I'm not sure what it is, I try to go to sangat everyweek. I feel like my life has no meaning, and I have tried to fill it with something, but nothing has filled th void.

It has been propherised that during the kalyug the righteousness shall decrease and the falsehoods will increase, there will be alot of confusion, people who are weak will lose their dharam and get lost in the duniya and maya.
Important thing to remember is when you realise this is happening you need to then wake up and hold on to Sikhi.... read and contemplate on gurbani like a life saving rope to metaphorically speaking let you cross from one side of the mountain pass to the other. There is alot of alternative things to occupy the mind in todays world, meditation naam simran will help you get out out of feelings of apathy, confusion, emptiness, etc
