[size=5]A MAN arrested in connection with an assault on a woman in Luton on Monday afternoon was given conditional bail by magistrates yesterday afternoon.[/size]



[size=5]Anan Mahjid Basharat, 19, appeared at Luton Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon after being charged with assault by battery following the incident which sparked protests by hundreds of members of the Sikh community outside Luton Police Station on Tuesday night.[/size]

[size=5]He pleaded not guilty to the offence and was granted bail on the condition that he stays away from Luton, adheres to a curfew between 7pm and 7am and is not to contact anyone connected with the case.[/size]

[size=5]Security were called to the court room during the hearing after an outburst from a packed public gallery.[/size]

[size=5]Mr Basharat will reappear before magistrates on August 6.[/size]

Has anyone made an effort to check Muslim forums as to how British Muslims (of Pakistani origin) are reacting to the recent flood of blames on their ethnicity including this case? I am just asking, because I haven't but might try to find what I can. Just curious if anyone else has.

And hang on, I am NOT asking anyone to go on Islamic discussion boards and puke your anti-Islamic venom there. The results are obvious. We will have a bunch of them coming here in retaliation, so please avoid any sort of cyber warfare. If anything, we just need to see if there are mature minds out there who actually feel ashamed.

The guy has been charged for assault only can assume they were going out. So y r the local Sikh leaders calling it grooming n jumping on bandwagon. Girl is sane mature not been groomed

^^^ Because enough is enough. This girl is another name added to the list of all those who have suffered. The bandwagon is being jumped to make sure no one else gets crushed under it ever again going forward.

No one forced this girl to go out with him she chose from her own will. There is trend of Asian girls with black guys does this mean its grooming ?

How many Black grooming gangs have hit the headlines in recent years ? - they are almost all MUSLIM !!

Lets say your Islamic community had this issue of your Muslim girls dating Kafirs such as Sikhs and Hindus. Would you say the same thing then? And by the way, I have yet to see an Asian girl getting transformed into a Black girl, but tons of examples of Sikh girls embracing Islam thanks to their Bollywood love dreams.
