Fateh Jee!

I have written previous posts about keeping my beard and hope some Singh or Singhni can help me!

My parents don't like the idea of me keeping my beard, three times in the last 8 months I have kept my beard and have cut it as a result of my parents dislike to it. Today I was about to cut it and I don't know I looked at the picture of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in my room, and I don't know I just couldn't do it. What can I do to stay strong???

Please help!!!

If you wan to pm me its fine :)

Fateh!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Kee Fateh!

Stay strong Singh! I was in a similar position when growing my hair & beard especially when i got headlice my family was negative and wanted me to cut my hair with excuses like "oh it'll grow back" but no i stayed strong thanks to the shaheedi of our Singhs & Singhini's! My advice would be to first try to explain why it's amazing to keep your beard to your family but even after that they don't agree then just go for it, i did, regardless of whoever likes it. The point is if you please your Guru Jee then that's all that matters! May Vaheguru give you strength :)
