I love to take deep swim in these beautiful compositions. It's energy flow of sargun and nirgun chaitan Vahiguroo..!!!!!
Satguru Gobind Singh Maharaj surti starts from nirgun to sargun, then sargun to nirgun in couplets over and over again. In Sri Akaal Ustat Sahib, every karam kaand be it sikh, hindu, muslim based all broken into pieces in couplet surti going towards nirgun than all of sudden all joined together in couplet coming back in sargun.
Please share you experience with Sri Jaap Sahib and Sri Akaal Ustat..!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I read that right? Karam kaand in sikhi?? There is no karam kaand in Sikhi, its the 'Nirmal (pure) Panth'!! Our Guru's gave us perfect teachings without any impurity, that includes no karam kaand.
I love both these banis.

Athough karam kaand(ritual) is khandan and praised in sri akaal ustat sahib, you can ignore my post regarding karam kaand in Sikhi but general karam kaand which is mentioned in sri akal ustat. Lets focus on the beauty of these compositions.!!

The compositions in the Sri Dasam Granth focus on the equal nature of the Sargun and Nirgun concepts as stated in the Ithaasak granths like panth parkash and Sri Gurpartap Suraj Parkash. We have exactly the same concepts in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji however people seem to focus on the nirgun aspects, the Bhagats and Bhatts seem to focus more on the sargun aspects of the Lord.
The Jaap Sahib is phenomenal and the Akal Ustat is good at debuking old sanatan tradions which are still prevelant in India today

Jaap Sahib is such a beautiful composition. If one were to listen to this bani being recited it is very meditative. Ones mind get so easily aborbed into the rhythm of this bani. The meaning of full of Nirgun and Sargun aspects of Vaheguru. One is amazed how such a bani was written.
Sad how Narakdhari kala afghanis like Dhunda was hitting this bani with a stick and the Jeowala can mock it.

I feel that Satguru Ji are praising the creator Waheguru rather than praising the practices. Waheguru's Jyot is equally in the King and equally in the pauper. Waheguru adopts the form of Hero and the villain. Waheguru adopts the the roop of Hindu and the Turk. Waheguru is masquerading as different people/things , but there is only the one Jyot.
