It's quite sad that singhbj singh is trying to make it a football match, I'm in support of every Jathaebandi of the panth, I was just merely pointing out you shouldn't bash any Jathaebandi, and yes this topic has gone off topic, which is sad. This is my last post, as it's becoming very silly.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Firstly as a Nihang I respect all Jathebandias such as "AKJ, NKJ, Nishkam Sevak Jatha, Damdami Taksal, Nanaksar, etc." taught from my Ustad, and I think you should take this Sikhia on board too. Secondly I agree with what you are mostly saying, but just because some "So called Taksalis" are causing problems at a Gurdwara, is there any need to stereotype the whole of Taksal. Thirdly I agree with mostly everything your saying here, about how things should be practical & diplomatic, but Veerji could you stop bashing Taksal over what some "So called Taksalis" have done. What is you Kaaran behind targeting Damdami Taksal ? If the members from the Academy have krodh & communication problems and no nimrata, yeah go ahead and bash them all you want,but don't bash any Jathebandia. Each Jathebandi are like different colors of beautiful flowers which we can all learn from. It just annoys me when people say "this Jathebandi did this and this Jathebandi did that", how are we going to have Ekta if we Jathebandiyas start attacking each other. singhbj singh nobody is arguing, this is intellectual discussion. We are listening to each others vichaar which is a good thing. Please don't make this post into an argument when it doesn't need to be. harsharan000 has done brilliant vichaar lets all learn something from it.

I totally agree with harsharan000 that is just a representation of wanting to change the darkness to light. A Jot is lit at Akhand Paaths aswell, many Singh do Sampath Paath aswell with the Jot lit and keep the Maryada. Singhs back in the days use to light the Jot to show reverence to Waheguru, to remind them that he is the Ultimate Jot out of respect and it was also used to provide light for Akhand Paaths during that time, as they was no electricity. But don't get confused, we are not doing Pooja of the Jot, nor doing a ritual, the Jot is just there to show reverence to Akaal Purukh. Many Mahapurshs have done Vichaar on this that have Brahmgian. And also if you have pictures in your house of Guru Gobind Singh, it is ok as long as you don't do pooja of it. I don't want to offend you or anything but I have been to Punjab, and alot of Gursikh piarae have been brainwashed by the Sikh Missionary Dhunda, And I have personally myself seen them removing Jots from Gurdwara Sahibs. There is nothing wrong of lighting a Jot while doing Paath to show reverence out of Respect. If you give piar to Waheguru, he will return it 100 times back.
