Well seeing his acts in the past few years , he has acted in a very anti-Sikh manner be be it 84 issue where he saved the culprits and asked Sikh community to forget Nov 84 Genocide or the France Turban issue or the series of corruption Scams of 2G, CWG, Adarsh Nagar, Cash for Votes N-Deal etc.He seems to works like a sheild to every corrupt and criminal, misusing his clean image.

On Economic Terms also he failed misrably, and is now considered as agent of America and World Bank / IMF now as he pushes for the American and Corporate interest in the name of Libralization and Globalization.

Here are fews videos on Manmohan Singh to open our eyes:-

It is the majority hundu party that he has to listen to didnt you see the coverage in Parliment last year some time they wouldnt even listen to him people like Shiela Dixit and othe mps dont acknowledge him there is an awful ot of hate shown towards him by the hindu majority.

What he has done for millions of starving people in India is a feat that will never ever be matched he gathered knowledge his entire life to help India the legacy he has left has probably given Sikhs an image in the hearts of world leaders despite what India and other politicinas have to say that will never be erased.

I was concerned at first that he did not take a stance for the turban but what you need to understand is the hate of the Congress party towards Sikhs and their causes and also the billion other people in INdia he has had to look out for.

He has shown that Sikhs are the best rulers for India and I am in no doubt in my mind that major world leaders after meeting Manmohan know he simply is uncorruptable by the nasty minded majority of India the mark he has left in their hearts will support a seperate Sikh cause no matter how they try to play it out.

He is the best statesman in the world just llok up what other leaders have to say about him I believe he reminds them of what they had started out in politics to do to help their people but people often get lost along the route but they dont have guru granth sahib ji to guide them do they

Which millions of starving people has he helped?

Did he ever take a stand for the Dastar?

He has shown that Sikhs are the best rulers for India

How did he show this?

and I am in no doubt in my mind that major world leaders after meeting Manmohan know he simply is uncorruptable by the nasty minded majority of India the mark he has left in their hearts will support a seperate Sikh cause no matter how they try to play it out.

Then why did he say forget about 1984 and there is a video out on youtube where he is doing puja of a stone.

By bringing in western business and getting new contracts for India he has created hundreds of thousands of new jobs which other people are trying to derail effectively helping the poor rise up

As a politician who was voted in by his party he is not allowed to vote on his personal preferences without the Sikh hating leaders of his party I am sure personally he has brought up his worries

By being called one of the best statesmen in the owrld he has shown Sikhs are the best rulers we have the blood of kings warriors and rulers even the British called us a martial race

President Obama has certainly got the right instincts on India. I know for fact, when Obama was in negotiating room, three times he mentioned word Guru when he referred to our PM. Your prime minister is our guru,

Hailing him among “The Leaders Other Leaders Love”, the US magazine in its latest cover story notes how “Manmohan Singh, a sophisticated former economist, has played a key role in the country’s emergence as one of the rising powers of the 21st century”.

While crediting him with “engineering the transition from stagnant socialism to a spectacular takeoff in the global economy”, Newsweek says “it’s Singh’s unassuming personal style that really inspires awe among his fellow global luminaries, who praise him for being modest, humble, and incorruptible”.

The magazine cites former International Atomic Energy Agency director-general and Egyptian presidential challenger Mohamed ElBaradei as saying that the soft-spoken Manmohan Singh is “the model of what a political leader should be”.

Manmohan Singh Is Worlds Best Leader : Article

As the leader of India he has to repsect all relgions he so thats a defunct argument and you know it

He is actually not allowed to do favours to a place where he is from that would be caled corruption and not looking at everyone fairly look at Guru Gobind Singh Ji he showed no preference to his sons over his army and he even allowed Singhs to feed the enemy water on the battlefield

WHEN YOU ALL UNDERSTAND THAT MANMOHAN SINGH HAS SHOWN SIKHS CAN LEAD INDIA YOU WILL SEE UNDER ALL OF THE NOISE AND THINGS THAT ARE BEING SAID ABOUT HIM BEING WEAK DESPITE THE WEST SAYING HE IS EVERYTHING A POLITICIAN SHOULD BE

THAT SIKHS ARE DESTINED AND ARE GOING TO BE THE BEST PEOPLE TO LEAD INDIA IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE OF OUR ATTITUDE OUR DEMEANOUR OUR LACK OF HATE OUR BELIEF IN TREATING EVERYBODY EQUALLY OUR LACK OF JEALOUSY

SO ALL YOU RIGHT WING HINDUS AND CONGRESS DOGS NEED TO SEE THE IMAGE THAT SIKHS ARE THE BEST LEADERS HAS ALREADY BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE MINDS AND YOUNG SIKHS ACROSS THE WORLD KHALISTAN IS GUARANTEED

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF GURU GRANTH JI SAHIB GODS CHOSEN ONES WILL ALWAYS BE PROTECTED AND BROUGHT INTO THE LIGHT

In which state did he bring these new jobs?

When has be brought up his worries?

........................

Some of you are so perfect, that all you see is faults in other people.

Manmohan Singh has arguably done more to improve the lives of India's poor than any other Indian - which we as fellow Sikhs should be proud of.

Why do I say this?

Because he has done enormous amounts to reduce poverty.

When India's economy was in crisis in 1991, he was brought in as finance minister and laid the foundation for the strong economic growth that India has seen since then.

That growth takes 30 - 40 million people in India out of poverty each year! Yes, each year!! Which means that India now has a thriving middle class of 400 milloon which did not exist 20 years ago.

I am sure our Gurus would have said that helping people to get food, clothing and shelter is as great an objective as any other.

People's lives (including those of Sikh farmers) are blighted by power shortages. He put an enormous amount of energy into signing the nuclear power deal with the US - that in the next 10-15 years, will transform India's power situation.

I do agree, that he may not have done enough to fight corruption - but that will take a generational change in India. Corruption is embedded in every aspect of Indian society.

...and yes, farmer suicides are a major issue in India - not just in the Punjab. In fact, the Punjab has a very low rate of farmer suicides. Five states (Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh) account for almost 70% of all farmer suicides in India. Kerala which has a similar population to the Punjab had over 900 farmer suicides in the period 2005-09, compared to 75 in the Punjab.

....and some of you say that he acted in an anti-Sikh fashion, because he told people to move on from the 1984 crisis. He was right.

In the UK, we had 40 years of religous strife in Northern Ireland that left thousands dead. The Irish people eventually came together for peace - partly by moving on from what had happened in the past - as did the people of South Africa (after Apartheid) and the people of Rwanda (after the Rwandan genocide). And to see what happens to people who can't move on?? Just look at the state of Kosovo, Bosnia and Serbia in Europe - countries that can't move on from their etnic conflicts in the early 1990s - they are still pariah states.

You make valid points but I think the issue that Sikhs have with being told to "move on" is that we've not had justice for our ordeals. Telling Sikhs to "get on with it", as if we're the one's with the problem, is tantamount to brushing everything under the carpet.

If the main 3 or 4 figures responsible for the atrocities (we know who they are and I won't sour my morning by typing their God-forsaken names) were to see the inside of a court or feel the coarse caress of the hangman's noose around their neck, then I would say we can now "move on". Until then we cannot allow the horrors meted out on us to be dismissed and forgotten.

But I do completely understand your points and I'm not disputing anything you've said in regards to S.A., Rwanda, etc.
