I've heard of these lot. Not too sure about the above videos though.

I met two brothers who use to be monay and they were in a pretty bad state. It took a few years but they said - apparently - by the time their health improved, they took amrit, and they are now proper amritdhari with dumalla, etc. So make of that what you will.

Dera Vadbahg Singh is in DeraDun and has been there since the time of the Guru sahibs, Baba Vadbhag Singh ji is also the Grandson of Guru Hargobind Ji, and Cousin of Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj, he did come and take amrit from Guru Ji.
He was title Bhoota da Guru by Guru Hargobind Pathsaha, Baba Vadbhag Singh came in the Guru Hazuri with his Kesh open cause they were wet and Guru Sahib laughed and said 'Eh tu ki banya hoiya Bhoota da Guru' .
Khalsa Ji 'Guru sahib da Bachan atal hai'.
So this how they came into exsistance and they cured people who were possed by spirits.
And before anyone starts to comment, Guru sahib states 'Pasu preat mugad Gow taareh'
Pasu - four legged animals
Preat - Ghost evel sprits etc.

Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj also helped baba vadbhag singh ji when he was in trouble but I don't remember that sakhi.

My cousins go there very regulalry, but they are so full of superstition, its unbeleivable. I dont think however that Baba VadhBhag SIngh ever taught people to be superstitous.

Vadbhag Singh was born in 1716 and Died in 1761. He was Son of Bikram Singh.

ਵਡਭਾਗਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਸਨ ੧੭੩੨ (ਸੰਮਤ ੧੮੧੯) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ. ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਇਹ

ਵਡਭਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ (13.8.1716 - 31.12.1761) ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਰਾਏ ਦਾ ਪੋਤਰਾ, ਭਾਰ ਮੱਲ (ਇਕ ਥਾਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਮੱਲ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ) ਦਾ ਪੜੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਧੀਰ ਮਲ (ਭਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ਸਾਹਿਬ) ਦਾ ਪਰ-ਪੜੋਤਾ ਸੀ। ਸੰਨ 1757 ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ (ਜਲੰਧਰ) ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

 

ਜਦ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੈਮੂਰ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਜਹਾਨ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਤਾਂ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜਦਾਰ ਨਾਸਰ ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੁੱਟ ਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ’ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿਤੀ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਵਡਭਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ। ਤੈਮੂਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਅਤੇ ਲੁੱਟ-ਮਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦਿਤੀ। ਇਸ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੜ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਵਡਭਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ’ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। (ਇਕ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਿਮਾਂਚਲ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੌੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਏਨਾ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਮੌੜੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ 'ਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ, ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ)।
