When is Gurdas Mann gonna speak out? What's he waiting for?
When is Babbu Mann gonna give a statement?
I heard Satinder Sartaj was on Sikh Channel - anybody seen it? Can someone please upload his comments on current Punjab situation/

-Actually the video was shot weeks before the Bhai Rajoana issue arose.
-Gurdas Maan will NEVER make a statement.
-Babbu Maan is quiet after elections statements (statuses have been posted on his FB page in support of Bhai Rajoana, but nothing from his mouth)
-Only Jazzy B and some little known artists have openly spoken/supported Bhai Rajoana.

Yeah but the timing of this video isn't a coincidence. Whoever decided to put this out now, knew exactly what they were doing. If they didn't want to be associated with the movement to save Rajoana, then they would have waited till it died down. Especially with the imagery of Singhs marching with kesri dastaars and flying nishaan sahib. That's exactly what's happening right now. If anything, it will keep the youth in chardi kala. Keep marching and keep the momentum strong.

It is completely a co-incidence as the promo was out before Bhai Rajoana made his statement about Kesri Jhande. Secondly this seems like a media stunt as Diljit been getting a lot of heat from female and cultural organisations in Punjab and having songs banned.

Lolol is this the same singer who came out with "Lak 28 kudi da"? haha no respect for him no matter how many kesri chande's he flies.
Ma respect for Jazzy B and others. It's mostly UK singers supporting, singers who live in Punjab have been quiet.

Whether or not you think Diljit is a fukra is not the question here. He may be, but this is a tight song with a clean video. It mirrors what's going on right now.
As for Jazzy B, dude put out a commercial saying we should bring back Badal. The same guy that is BFF's with so many enemies of Sikhs. He let Rajoana rot in jail for the past 17 years, and under his command Punjab Police are cracking down on Sikh protesters. Then he's gonna wrap a dumalla around his head and be all like "We gotta save Rajoana yo!". Please. Jazzy B has half naked kuriyan dancing in his vids too. I hope you all caught the close-up of his blinged out khanda chain at the end of support Rajoana clip. Dude is like 40+ years old...grow up uncle ji...He prob took that dumalla off right after and then went to have a peg.
Anyways, I don't wanna get into a fight over these stupid singers because I think it distracts us from the real issue at hand. Mods, can you please close or remove the thread. Thank you.

^cant tie dhamala without long hair. But I see your point. At the same time, Punjabi youth greatly look up to these singers. They wield considerable influence. (for example, the youth want to look like them-punjabi singer trims his beard, keeps Pugh and so do a lot of kids). Singers coming out with statements will definitely help, but unfortunately, like you said, they are mostly puppets of Badal, like much of the rest of Punjabi/Sikh society
