Shivaji Influenced By Our Gurujis

Recommended Posts

I was hearing viakhya whereupon I came across "Shivajis Guru was highly influenced by 6th Paatshaahi and had met him also " After I heard this then I looked at the photograph of Sivaji and found him to be copying the style of the ^th Paatshahi. Is this Correct what was mentioned in the Katha

this meeting is mentioned in Pothi Panjak Sakhia

"batan faquiri, zahir amiri,

shastar garib ki rakhya, jarwan ki bhakhiya,

Baba Nanak sansar nahi tyagya, Maya tyagi thi."

These words of Guru Hargobind found a ready response in the heart of Samartha Swami Ramdas who, as quoted in Pothi Panjak Sakhian, spontaneously said, "this appealeth to my mind - Yeh hamare man bhavti hai".

no nothing about sikhi but lots of details about Maya, the disple, the Guru, the company of the saints, the signs of various things.. eg the signs of a fool, the different types of liberation.. liberation according to Maya and ones desires, liberation in meeting the nirankar beyond desires and mays... lots of details about the Nirankar... how the Guru is considered to be higher than God... then some other stuff eg about Shardee and Ganesh... but I would say 91% matches with sikhi relayed teachings maybe even more but of course nothing can compare with Dhan Dhan SGGS ji maharaj.. as we know the world was in darkness before guru Nanak dev ji and this was perhaps a great detail of the new school of thought that came after baba nanaks visit on earth and the dasbodha is a shining piece I think in that revouloution after Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji but before the creation if the khalsa panth
