I remember this case, was big news at the time. She is learning the hard way the consequences of "puthay kamm". It's her parents and family I feel sorry for.

It was a shocking when I first heard about it. but maybe she did not commit the murder and it was someone else. If that is the case she has been locked up for a crime she did not commit. but the courts will have to decide. hopefully they will find the person who commited this evil act.

I have always had my suspicions about this whole case from the very first time it came in the news.

It seems inconceivable that a girl who was just about to graduate in Dentistry, had her whole life ahead of her and came from a respected family would throw it all away for this Sair guy.Having a degree in Law I also was surprised that when she was sentenced they did not mention any forensic evidence in the trial ie what kind of court case was this that no forensics where made of the murder weapon, especially in this day and age when almost every case is solved with DNA samples and finger prints, forensics ect.

It all seems suspicious especially as the husband of Sana has left the country and moved abroad. Whatever the outcome A Sikh is behind bars for a crime that she may not have committed and the Killer/s are at large and have got off free. Whatever the case this girl does not deserve to be behind bars if she did not commit the murder. This could be one of the biggest Miscarriages of Justice of all time and makes a mockery of the UK Justice system. But especially the Authorities who directly charged the woman with the crime in the first place.

Saying that the woman Mindy did have the biggest motive for the Killing and she visited Sana on the day of the Murder which I presume is what initially made her the prime suspect. I do not want to tempt fate I just hope that they find out who was the Killer if it was not Mindy and that they are finally brought to justice.

There needs to be thorough and robust Investigation into why Harmohinder did not get a fair court case and why crucial evidence was not presented at the time.

though its not right for an innocent person to go to jail and i hope she is freed right away - the problem is that she has to rebuild her life ie continue her education, however the big problem is marriage who would want to marry her knowing that she has been having sex with a muslim

ultimately this is big behzti for sikhs.....my cousin aged 38 recently said..the first thing a sikh girl does is go out with a muslim

I think this topic is diverting from the main issue of a woman who may have been jailed for a crime that she did not do. It is not about other issues.

If girls date people from other religions. They and they alone will ultimately pay the consequences for their actions.

Girls like that will usually find it very difficult to get married as they will have a bad reputation. There is no point thinking about these girls they are not worth our thoughts. Who cares what they do!!

They have made their decision in life so let them deal with it. girls like those are not worth our attention. we should concentrate on the many good Sikh women out there and not the bad ones.

Lets not tarnish all Sikh women. Many are good honest and decent i know many.
