Punjab Has A Democracy So Why Khalistan

Recommended Posts

Thomas Jefferson said in order for a democracy to work is up to the people

democracy is earned and Punjab has a democracy but the people of Punjab vote in politicians with selfish interests while states like Kerala use

their democracy to advance the whole state hence why Kerala enjoys the same standard of living as any developed country

most people in Kerala belong to a low Hindu caste or are Muslim or Christian yet use their democracy to advance their state

yet the Sikhs in Punjab fail to do this so how would they do this in a Khalistan

what type of country would Khalistan be a dictatorship or a democracy where the majority get to vote in the politicians they want to pass

the laws that the majority support

Is the western style of election democracy really the best form of government for a Sikh State? that is the question we should be asking ourselves. Whenever Sikhs had sovereignty did they use this western style of election democracy that the British introduced to us and which we now unfortunately use in SGPC? or was the selection system used by Sikhs since Puraatan times a better system? election or selection?

I think Khalistan would most likely be a libertarian society, because Sikhs have always stood for righteousness. I personally don't think it should be a democracy because that's not how Punjabi people think, they want a more free government. Instead of a government which will kill you and scar your community for 30 years.
