Why Muslim Punjabis Are Future Of The Punjabi Peoples Globally

Every peoples in the world have affinity to the place of their origins. For example look at Jews and Israel. We, the punjabi peoples, come from Punjab--our holy land. Our ancestral homeland. The core of our culture and traditions.

There are around 120 million Punjabi peoples in the world, majority residing in Punjab and diaspora spread across the world, specially in Canada, United States, and British.

Out of 120 million Punjabi peoples, there are around 80 million Punjabi peoples who are Muslims. Around 30 million of Punjabis are Sikhs..and rest are other categories.

As sad it is, I must agree that I have arrived to the conclusion that the survival of Punjabi peoples, Punjabi values, and Punjabi culture will be due to Muslim Punjabis, and not Sikh Punjabis.

Muslim Punjabis are part of wider Islamic peoples, who adhere to their religion, culture, traditions, and civilization like no other people out there. We all know it and have seen it..and must learn something here. Islamic people have made their civilization a truly global civilization expanding everywhere. No other peoples have achieved in less 1500 years what Islamic peoples have achieved.

And THIS is precisely the reason that the main cause of survival of Punjabi peoples would be Muslim Punjabis.

Muslim Punjabis have a state of their own (Pakistan ch Punjabis sub ton dominant ne). In undivided Punjab in Pakistan, population of Punjabi peoples is near 70 million+...and their fertility rate is 3 kids per woman--means they are expanding! While in india sadly, fertility rate of Punjabi peoples is less than required for replacement levels. With less than 2.1 fertility rate, indian punjabi peoples are declining compared to over-all population.

The reason why Muslim punjabis will expand as a people is similar to why Islamic people as a whole have been able to expand..and the reason is their women!

I'll be honest: I have lived in Canada, U.S and (visited) U.K for some time. I have seen everything. A lot of life experience..

Muslim Punjabi girls, on average, were way more cultured than our kuriyans. Muslim Punjabi girls would generally stay away from drinking, love-affairs, and other vices. Compared with Punjabi Sikh girls, Muslim girls will proudly live by their culture and be confident and excel in all fields. Muslim Punjabi girls vigiriously protect their sexual engagement and virginity. While Punjabi Sikh girls...well, the less said the better.

I have seen countless Muslim Punjabi girls who'd wear Hijab and have very attractive personality. These girls go on to produce offsprings generally from Muslim Punjabi males. In this way, Punjabi culture, peoples, and traditions not only survive but thrive!!

The fact remains that the Punjabi people will increase in population and spread...and the credit goes to Muslim Punjbis, and not Sikh Punjabis who are destroying our most precious gift--Sikhi and Punjabi roots.

well I seem to be reading muslimist propaganda ...thanks for the information but I believe in My Guru's Bachan that Khalsa Raj will come and there will be many more Khalsa than Pakistan will know what to do with ... enjoy your life

While no doubt Muslim Punjabis are the majority of Punjabis. They have been blessed with their own Raaj or sovereign state that is on the world map. They dominate Pakistan. They are in ideal position to promote the Punjabi language. Unfortunately, that is not what we have seen so far. Urdu not Punjabi has been made the official language of Punjabi dominated Pakistan. An educated Punjabi Muslim prefers to speak Urdu because he will consider Punjabi as an uneducated language. I've seen many Punjabi Muslims who speak Urdu with their children. Furthermore, Punjabi Muslims consider Urdu as an Islamic language even though great Sufi Saints of Punjab wrote in Punjabi. Muslim Punjabis have merged their identity with the wider pan islamic one.

Out of the Muslims, Hindus and the Sikhs, the Sikhs in Punjab are the only nationalist Punjabis. So many Sikhs have been martyred for the implementation of Punjabi language in Punjab. Sikhs are the only ones who make a case for the promotion of Punjabi language, culture and identity. In the west, all the Punjabi classes that are being taught are being taught by the Sikhs. Globally all the Punjabi literature that is being produced is being written by Sikhs. And this despite that fact that only 14% of Punjabis are Sikhs. There is no ethnic identity without the language. And for this reason Punjabi Muslims will not be the future of Punjabi identity, language, culture or nationalism even though they are the majority.

There are some Punjabi Muslims who are nationalistic about Punjabi language. A writer named Asif Shahkar is one of them who want to promote Punjabi language. Unfortunately, such men are a minority among Punjabi Muslims.

Bro you are right that pak punjabis are the largest group of punjabis in the diaspora but the thing is they have thrown punjabi out he window and only speak urdu. I know alot of pakistani punjabis and they only speak urdu its cos of the status. To them punjabi is a language spoken by lower class uneducated people of pakistan. I do agree though that they are more into their culture than everyone else. You wont ever see a muslim girl dancing around in the night club drunk but you will see that alot with our community. Why cos most of the comm has forgotten about sikhi we r lucky tht we hav been brought back to our roots n r followin sikhi to the fullest

don't be fooled there are a lot of muslim girls who pull the wool over their parents' eyes too, kalyug affects them too you know ...what I have seen and heard beggars belief but they too lack in moral fibre ...so finger pointing at our houses on fire when their own is smoking is silly.

Punjabi is the language of the people and as such should be respected as it is the simple folk who have been the most solid Sikhs giving their all to sikhi, wealth, health and families. I don't care if these Johnny-come-latelys think Punjabi is too unrefined for them I love it and I will speak it where Guru ji takes me and encourage my children and others to use not lose it.

Muslim Punjabis are becoming more Arab than Punjabi. They have betrayed their language by taking to Urdu which is the language of the Bhaiyas of UP and Bihar. At least the Sikhs have been successful in getting Punjabi language status in India as well as in England, USA, Canada and Malaysia etc. The Muslim Punjabis can't even teach Punjabi in their own state which shows how slavish their mentality is. Look at other aspects of Punjabi culture, Kabaddi the national game of Punjab has been taken to other parts of the world and this has been solely due to the Sikhs.

In terms of numbers the Muslim Punjabi might be more than Sikh Punjabis but if the future of the Punjabi people is that they become Arab clones then the future is certainly in the hands of the Muslim Punjabi. If the future of the Punjabi people is that they become a drain on economies of the different countries around the world than the future belongs to the Muslim Punjabi because like all Muslims they tend to claim benefits rather than make a positive contribution to the countries they have moved to. The Muslim Punjabi because they marry their cousin sisters and cousin brothers also drain the free heathcare systems around the world because of the genetic diseases they become victims of by following Mohammed's advice. If the future of the Punjabi people globally is to go from being positive contributors to the countries they have moved to becoming leeches then the future belongs to the Muslim Punjabis.

I know it, and you know it, Muslims...especially Muslim girls...are generally much much more likely to be sober, virgin, and being true to their Islamic culture and civilisation than any other girls from any other religion/culture out there.

We all know this.

Yes, offcourse, it doesn't mean that every Muslim girl is like this...but I'm talking about general trend and what I've said above is true.

Most of those same girls are like that for fear of their life , it is not a joke that Islam allows a parent or grandparent to KILL a perceived dishonor causing girl, she cannot marry anyone of her choice and she has been subjected to years of brainwashing about her inferior status and interference in her bhagti. Ya iam more than ready to Admit tht a lot of indian punjabi girls r not the best examples of modesty n tht Pakistan punjabi girls r of better moral character jus go to any. Major city in Canada or uk n ull c wat I mean but wat I also can't stress enough is tht does not true for sikh girls as they r moral never drink or any of tht. To me a sikh girl is one who follows sikh I to the fullest not the ones u c in clubs who r jus sikh by name which is y I refer to them as punjabi.
