Video Of Racially Profiled Innocent British Indian Punjabi Guy

Recommended Posts

Check this video out, it's quite outrageous and disturbing how this british Indian (non-muslim) Sikh guy who is lawfully minding his own business gets held up and questioned on suspicion of being a muslim terrorist on what seems to be based on his ethnicity/race/colour.

These mor0ns want to racially profile innocent non-muslim asian/brown faced members of the public?

Actually you should take look around and see how brown people are treated in the west.

I am going to assume you're an European, maybe you should read this article about how British Sikhs are being treated in UK these days.

Sikhs or Muslims, racists don't discriminate British Sikhs are often the silent victims of any backlash against Islamic extremism. They should be silent no more

Yeah, it sucks that non-Muslim brown people have to go through this crap, but what do you except from white people? We all should know by now they don't like us.

How are we treated so wrongly? I don't think there is much racism against us, its just ignorance, Sikhs have low numbers so in general most don't even know we exist, and assume we are muslim. It's not the old days anymore, for the most part, we are accepted.

Given we're living in technology age where you find any kind of information with click on our phones, tablets and laptops, there shouldn't be no excuses for ignorance in today's world especially in the west. Racism still alive and probably worse than before since people are choosing to be racist and being more open about it.

How much longer do we need to live here before they lose their ignorance that's just a cop out now.

I don't think so, I really don't think they're genuinely out too attack Sikhs. Sure some may be truly against Sikhs, but there will always be some people who don't like others.

It's upto Sikhs to spread more awareness of who we are, we have come here, and we should make the effort. But, in the end, Sikhs need to accept not everyone will love us, like wise how some Sikhs are racist too.

Funny thing is I work in a building where my direct boss is a Sikh, the guy in charge of admin is a Sikh and many other bosses are Sikhs.

The only problem I have with them is they deliberately exclude me from their conversations when I know they can speak in English they deliberately talk in Punjabi

so if there is any ill feeling coming from me it is as a direct result of their treatment towards me by their wilful and deliberate exclusion of myself in their conversations.

So if you ever wonder why some of us racist white people harbour grudges perhaps you should look at your own treatment towards us.

Completely understand. I don't think there is anything wrong if you speak cantonese, punjabi, or polish when with ONLY your kind, but around others, thats just plain rude. Especially if you're capable of speaking English.

I didn't watch the video but I understand the general idea of what went on.

In the UK there are people whom value Sikhs and recognise us apart from other religions. We fought in the world wars for Britain and have earned 14 victoria crosses up to 1945, a per capita record ( if I remember correctly). The EDL recognises Sikhs and values us and even UKIP did, they gave a standing applause when a Sikh member of their party came to speak. I know this isn't much compared to what we may get treated and seen as in public but stand up for yourself. Don't cause any uneccesary trouble but if someone is going to come and try to intimidate or physically harm me based on my religion, I know what I would do, I got two fists waiting for them. I'm not a baptised Sikh but often wear my Kara and people can guess it anyway.

Peace people

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
