Islamization Of East Punjab

I made some observations several times on this forum and facebook regarding the Islamization of our Punjab and some possible consequences.

As we all know, unregulated migrant flow to Punjab of UP Muslims and especially Bangladeshi Muslims has had an immense effect on our demographics. Besides that Gujjars have migrated to Punjab in massive numbers, and being from areas such as Jammu and Kashmir they're close to militants. This is evident from the fact that I had mentioned some years ago regarding recorvery of a huge cash of illegal weapons in a Gujjar Dera in Jalandhar area. These Gujjar deras have become dens for terrorists, just see the following excerpt from the news regarding the Gurdaspur terror attack which re-affirms my view:

Sources said a Pathankot police team looking for leads into whether the terrorists were sheltered before launching the attack "detained" a nomadic tribesman (Gujjar) from an undisclosed place. The detained person is suspected to have helped the terrorists in placing the bombs on the Dinanagar-Pathankot railway track.

Gujjar deras

Questions are being raised as to how the Gujjar community escaped being the targets of the terrorists.

The local residents said that makeshift Gujjar deras are found at secluded spots of almost all villages along the Indo-Pak border.

They allege that the Gujjar deras acted as conduit for terrorists from the other side. The Gujjars enjoy political patronage and hence, the defence forces expressed their inability to displace them.

The Gurdaspur police have recently rounded up several persons belonging to the Gujjar community for questioning.

SSP Pathankot Rakesh Kaushal said that displacing the Gujjars was under the jurisdiction of the government. “On our part, we have launched a drive to check their antecedents. Their photographs are also being clicked to maintain their record,” he said.

These Gujjars have bhought a lot of land and well settled with houses and mosques in their Deras.

The first incidents started happening a few years back when these Muslim immigrants tried to demolish a Gurdwara in Ludhiana. The once virtually empty mosque of Ludhiana is filled with lacs of sul-lay on friday evenings. The rising amount of acid attacks on cows in Malerkotla to provoke the Hindus. Incidents of communal violence have become much more common in recent years if one keeps a close eye on news coming from Punjab, and its mostly always Hindu-Muslim or Sikh-Muslim (barring the dera incidents).

The Muslim ex police officers who are also part of the WAQF board have an active role in re-establishing mosques and regaining the land belonging to these mosques (some 480 mosques have been renovated and are active now). Izhar Alam and Mohd Mustapha are spearheading this movement and have even introduced Sharia Panchayats in our beloved Punjab.

They have been actively converting poor Sikh children and other Sikhs as shown in the AISSF complaint to Akal Takht Jathedar some time back.

We need to wake up before things get worse.

Had posted about this back in 2013. Now that one attack has happened where our poor brothers and sisters have been killed we might wake up and not just pass these off as 'conspiracy theories'.

The Bhaiya Muslims are not that dangerous since they are not strict Sharia observant Muslims and most of them leave after their seasonal work. That's not the case with these Gujjars. Firstly, they arent Punjabi Muslims. They are migrants from J&K. But yeah, If they helped the terrorists who attacked Dinanagar, then people should be watchful of these Gujjars. Had they succeeded in their plans and the Bus driver had stopped which contained a lot of passengers plus had their bombs exploded which they placed on traintracks, that would have been a lot of dead Punjabis. They probably chose Punjab for their attack because they thought Punjab was a soft target where as J&K has lakhs of soldiers and check points all over the place.

Izzhar Alam's conversion activities should also not be ignored. He is certainly no friend of the Sikhs.

Another place where Sikhs need to pay attention are the Christian missionary activily converting Sikhs in Punjab. Since they are banned in most parts of India for fear of Hindu backlash, but they are protected in Punjab by the Sikhs from Hindus fanatics. But how do the Christian missionaries thank the Sikhs of Punjab for this? they target so called lower castes of the Sikhs for conversions. Most of the Christians in Punjab were former Sikh Mazhabis. Just look at their conversion activities in the Majha belt. There are new churches all over Amritsar and Gurdaspur villages which at one time was the stronghold of the Sikh militants.

Innocent Christians and Muslims should be protected but we should not let Christian missionaries and Izzhar Alam type Muslims take advantage of us anymore.

The Machivallean would try to turn Christian and Islamists against each other. If Hindutva groups want to join the ruckus, they should be allowed to and then Sikhs can pick up the pieces post aftermath.

However since Sikhs are "White Knights" and protect the rights of everyone except their own, this will not happen rightly or wrongly.

Question is how we can protect others but ensure that we will be stabbed in the back by the same people who we protected in the future.

We Sikhs go out of our way to help others, but who helps us? Are we Sikhs a soft touch that get taken advantage of time and time again?

The Gujjars of Punjab are part of the soil of Punjab and part of the natural history of Punjab. Never mind the fact that every village in Punjab also has a permanent settlement of gujjars on the outskirts of the village, the ones that come down seasonally from Kashmir have been doing so since ancient times. Since the beginning of Punjab, they have been coming down to the plains to sell their wares to the villagers.That, is part of the culture of Punjab. Lets face it, who apart from the gujjars still perform the stereotypical Punjabi sound of bakare balonh (bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah) ? The answer is no one for it is only the gujjars that still graze the goats en masse. I don't care that they're muslim and I don't care that have one foot in Punjab and one foot in Kashmir. As far as I'm concerned they are an integral and vital part of the social-history of rural Punjab. I will not join in with this right wing Hindu RSS type witchunt against them.
