He's a radical what do you expect. Look at his bio he claims to be a historian and human rights activist, but in that one tweet alone he conflicted both of these things he so proudly flaunts.

Trying to rewrite the history of Banda Singh Bahadur through academic dishonesty is typical of these radicals who have a psychological disorder of literally finding a way to convince themselves to ignore any part of history that is problematic to their dishonest existence.

Some of his other tweets show a pic of a baby who died trying to flee Syria. It's disgusting how he blames the west and not the root of Islam that caused this situation.

It's not surprising he has these views. Muslims of the Sub continent(Indo-Pak-Bangla) consider Aurangzeb to be great ruler like he is some kind of a saint. They hold him in high regard almost like he is of the same level as the first four Caliphs. The man was a ruthless tyrant who not only killed his brothers and father through deceit but also imposed the oppressive Islamic Sharia Law on the population of India. He was a strict follower of Islam who faithfully did his Namaz, fasted, hated music and non Muslims, basically how an ideal Muslims who follows the Quran and Sharia should be. He did not care for wealth and is said to earn money by binding Qurans and living off of that even though he was the ruler of India and had untold amount of wealth. After he became emperor, he memorized the entire Quran and became a Hafiz. He also liked to write the Quran. In a way it's not his fault he was a tyrant. His religion is such that to be a good Muslim ruler one must be oppressive because Sharia Law in itself if imposed is oppressive to non Muslims.

Just look at people in our own lifetime like Baghdadi who are basically the Aurangzebs of today, no different. And the future Muslim descendents of today's Yazidis many of whom were forcibly converted to Islam will probably name their weapons/missiles after Baghdadi or even praise him on social media like these Sub continent Muslims whose Hindu ancestors were oppressed so much that they converted to Islam by Islamic invaders. The Indo Pak Muslims are suffering from a permanent Stockholm syndrome that just passes from one generation to the next.

In future, their descendants will also probably deny this ever even happened and claim they were converted by peaceful sufi saints.

True but the iranic people don't suffer from Stockholm syndrome. Iranians for example don't deny the brutal arab conquest of ancient persia and neither do they make brutal foreign warlords into saints like how desi muslims have done with Bin Qasim, Ghaznavi, Ghauri, Babur and Abdali.

The fact they are Shia also seems to be a way of them sticking two fingers up at the Arabs.

Also, the Iranian/Persians along with Arab and Turks are one of the Muslim master races. They do not have an inferiority complex like the subcontinental muslims.

You are correct, the Turks under the Ottoman ruled over large swathes of Arab land and probably see themselves as superior to the Arab.

The Iranians still see themselves as Persian empire and have not forgotten. With a lot of Iranians, you will see them wearing Cyrus The Great medallions, they have not forgotten their pre-Islamic heritage. I just wonder what will happen if and when the Iranians undo the shackles of the Islamic Clergy.
