If it is racist, why would you be repeating it anyway? If someone tells you it is racist then why repeat? Where is the article about the joke? Jokes are meant to be funny and not meant to hurt other people's feelings!! Sikhs are known for their sense of humor, they can be funny themselves.

well you have grounds for racism dispute here in Uk because Sikhs are like Jews they are defined as a race, so yes the Beeb have broken racism laws

It's been done loads of times. Let's face it. They don't give a toss.

They probably get off on seeing our complaints thinking "We're getting to those b##tards. Hee hee hee!"

Very true, the BBC dont give a toss. The best we get is a half hearted apology for any offence they may have caused. All complaints are however circulated amongst all staff and if considered serious enough, action is taken...in the form of an apology or the article being edited...

I actually think more often than not, these people think complaints like this are a sign of success. Striking a blow for the British cause against perceived fuddy-duddy religious conservatives. You could tell what the prevailing attitude towards us is by the smug condescending way that brother on the BBC talk show was treated about Anand Karaj for Sikhs only.

It's an age old tactic by the media to cause offence and then make a strategically insincere retraction, knowing full well that the original negative image they wanted to project has reached the masses by then anyway.

What are the 'racism laws' if any? Do you think passing laws can cleanse people's hearts and minds? No amount of laws can achieve this ever. What people feel about other races is deeply rooted in their hearts and minds and laws never state that from now on hating other races or religions deep within your hearts and minds will be construed as unlawful behavior and therefore liable for prosecution.

look we need to grow up ...realise that NO ONE in the manmat world will be happy to see us flourish , we need to get thicker skins and not accept the BS weakening program the elites are doing throughout the world , weakening faith, increasing sexualisation, reducing respect/morals/self-reliance...

we are trainee saints

we are trainee warrriors

we are trainee leaders

we need to be selfaware, courageous, self-reliant and quit whineing ...wounded hearts and bruised bodies to be expected and be ignored in pursuit of the truth ... this is a fauji life whether we choose it or not.
