Seeing Sikhs adopt much of the viewpoints of either right wing or liberals. And as incels are growing as well as theories of hypergamy, MGTOW. I was wondering what the views are of fellow Sikhs on these issues. And if you are married, did your view on the opposite gender change?

The age people get married is increasing in the world and Punjab. Sikhs in the past married and started families at much younger ages but today many delay it till their late 20s or early 30s. Recently, India proposed a bill to increase the legal age of women getting married to 21 from 18 while it's already 21 for men. Is it better to get married early like Sikhs of the past or follow the global trend of getting married later?

3HO sikhs should re-convert to authentic Sikhi or drop the name 1 2 3 4
by Guest Ex-Gora- 2 followers

3HO is a crazy new age mishmash of yoga, numerology, and a bunch other nonsense dreamt up by a sociopathic hustler. If those goreh were just Beatles fans seeking Eastern Wisdom™ then why bring Sikhi into the mix at all? Be a Hindu or a Theosophist. On the other hand, if they discern the truth of Sikhi, then why pollute it with nonsense?

So why don't Sikh brides cover their heads? they normally have their buns covered but not their heads. whats the reason behind this? if i walked into gurdwara with my patka slipping and hanging of my bun i would probably get death stares, People would probably feel like tossing me out of the window. But why do Sikh brides get away with it? a few years back during the summer i wore a cap to the gurdwara, i soon had 5 singhs standing behind me not looking very amused. i was told to take it off and wear a ramal. why the double F,ing standards? heres a quick google search., Why were none of these women dragged out or told to cover their heads before guru gra…

Have Sikh women always used "Kaur"?
by Guest guest- 0 replies

I read "Kaur" was used by Sikh women due to the Singh Sabha Movement. Was using "Kaur" after a Sikh woman's name less popular prior to the movement? When was the first mention of "Kaur" in writing? Admin Note: Please post using your registered id.

Hi, everyone. Can you share what your stereotypes are about Sikh girls? The good, the bad, the ugly? For example: Indian girls (in general) are stereotyped as hairy, prudish, nerds, get fat after 1-2 kids, really smart (even the dumb ones), not as attractive as other ethnicities, loyal, good cooks. What do men here personally stereotype Sikh women as from your experiences with them? I'd like to know even if it hurts, thanks.
