Paath on the same bed you have had A nocturnal emission on?
by Guest Dumb Question- 3 replies

WJKK WJKF My grandparents are coming from India in a few months and they are amritdhari. My grandfather has had a leg injury and cannot walk as much as he used to. I assume when I have to sleep on the floor in my basement so they can use my bed, they will be Reading gurbani on it. I have an issue with this though. I have had nocturnal emissions on my bed, and when I was younger, I wet the bed. The smells of the urine are completely gone as it has been over a decade since this occurrence, but it is still there. I also have a layer of plastic in between my bed and my bedsheets so in case I get a nocturnal emission, it won’t get onto the bed. Will it…

a Sikhs goal
by Guest gurbani Vaheguru- 0 replies

dhan dhan vaheguru satguru sri guru granth sahib ji. A Sikhs goal is to hear, see and meet Vaheguru before death. A Sikhs Duty is to do Simran with each and every breath. We should not only read gurbani, we should and we are supposed to do read it, do vichaar of it, study it, live it, and do Simran to come to the state to hear see and meet Vaheguru. What's mean by "hearing" Vaheguru? Naam=Vahegurus Voice. In the first stadium of the marag, the way to Vaheguru, Naam is the gurmantar ("Vaheguru ") . So Vaheguru spoke, made a sound and then started the establishment of this universe. That sound which Vaheguru made is called Naa…

Struggling with Faith

Hello, my faith is wavering, I have tried to upload this many times but it never has. I am not sure who to talk to about this as there is no one I am comfortable to share my thoughts. But I am struggling with religion and how to choose the right one. How do we know sikhi is the right religion rather than religions like islam and christianity. I used to be confident as a kid but as I grow up I am not as sure and lack faith. I wonder if it is because our community is small? Or fear mongering from the Abrahamic faiths Any advice or experience would be very helpful.

Guru pyaari sadh sangat jee, I am writing this post with a heavy heart. I already know the answer in my heart but I want to write this down somewhere. There were two very important downfalls in my short lifetime. Both of them left scars that I cannot undo. The first major downfall happened in 2013. The year prior to that I was in utmost chardi kala. We were not exactly financially secure and things were hard at home, but I was at peace. I have only twice in my life experienced such peace. After the peace came the storm. I couldn't handle it and drifted away from waheguru. I lost trust. The second downfall happened in 2022. The order of events was the sam…

What do you make of secret societies like freemasons? Can you be both sikh and freemason? I have heard of many people being initiated and there are historical masonic lodges in Punjab running since East India Company times.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Just want to know if anyone in sangat have experience of 125000 moolmantar jaaps ? Anyone gained sachepatshah jis kirpa after it or any experience if any, plz share with sangat. Although we should do 125000 in 40 days recommended by many saints, 32,33 maalas a day but I have started only 16 malas a day, hoping to complete in 75 days with guru sahibs kirpa. Take about 12 mins for one maala and all my focus remains in changing the bead of maala, As we have to shift beads so isnt it difficult to focus on moolmantar ? Any experience from sangat will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Khalsa ji, I believe the time of the incarnation of Kalki Avtar may be coming soon, or maybe we are transitioning into ghor Kaljug. https://youtu.be/Ast2BXMQMU8 I don’t mean to cause you distress, but if you are not prepared with atleast a good tent, water purification system, and Shastar, please get them soon. Not saying it’s a good idea to go into a tent and live out in the wild after a nuclear disaster though. I assume most of us atleast have a month’s worth of daal, but get milk powder and rice as well. I am not fully prepared and will try to find these items as well as books on foraging, as I have been oblivious to the importance of preparedness. Wa…
