With dasvandh, do you deduct it from gross or net pay. If you deduct from take home pay, then is it 10% from your net pay after taking out rent, mortgage, bills etc?

West Midlands Police = enemy of the Sikh nation 1 2 3 4

Something is seriously SERIOUSLY wrong with West Midlands Police at the highest level. It is abundantly clear that they are doing the Indian Government and Punjab Police's evil bidding on their behalf on these shores. I salute those young Sikhs that bravely confronted them at the Handsworth Nagar Kirtan a few months ago and threw them out of local Gurdwaras where they were attempting to go on a recruitment campaign but........buried yesterday on one of the Charity Commission's online webpages was truly disturbing news. The Charity Commission stated that West Midlands police approached the charity commission around October last year (around the same time that the Indian G…

Beard curling 1 2 3

Please have a look at the attached picture. After curling, the guy's beard looks cleaner and less messy without having to cut it. I think this is a better alternative to Sikhs who end up cutting their beards in the pursuit to "look good"/"presentable" or even a better alternative for trying the beard, although it does require you to go the same salon where kes are murdered everyday. Your thoughts?

i was recently looking at kirpans and came across this and it made me think why not use a combat style knife, when this type looks similar and just bears the khanda on it, also should not the kirpan be a practical tool and well as a spiritual / Ang of ours and gift from Guru ji, would not any appropriate combat knife with a leather sheath and a khanda put on it and presented before Guru ji and an ardas offered be acceptable, please give your feelings and advice about this. bhul chuk maf ji.

Omnipotence Paradox

VJKK VJKF The omnipotence paradox goes like this: Can god create a rock he cannot lift? If you answer yes, god is not omnipotent because god will not be able to lift the rock If you answer no, god is not omnipotent because god can’t create that rock. I have one possible answer and that is that it is unknowable. But this is not a satisfactory answer to this question. My question is, any solutions to this sangat ji? VJKK VJKF

Reincarnation and Sikhi 1 2

VJKK VJKF Recently I have noticed people stating that reincarnation is not a sikh concept. They most often state shabads stating that you act like animals in the 84 lakh join while you are alive if you do not meditate upon Vaheguru. They say Shabads such as the one that states the different life forms you go through if you die in certain thoughts such as dying in the thoughts of mansions and houses you get reincarnated as a ghost are metaphors. I am confused about this topic so could anyone explain?

Waheguru Sadh Sangat ji, please help. A football club based in Willenhall, noose Lane called Sporting Khalsa fc is serving selling, alcohol as a pub, bar, violating and disrespecting the name of Khalsa. Please see attached evidence. I dont need to do parchaar on how sacred Khalsa is for us all. My cousins a parent who takes her son to the football club and recently in her 3rd attempt she complained to the club about the use of name, the huge responsibility that is undertaken to preverse and maintain such a prestige and invaluable Khalsa sidanth. Is there such a sin which Waheguru does not forgive? 1 2
by Guest WaheguruJiKiFateh47- 1 follower

I heard that there are some sins which cant be forgiven such as these people who went to gurdwara to do wrong on Guru Granth Sahib Ji *waheguru waheguru*. Or also adultery, where the person will live 1000 days of hell. But is this true? I cant understand of course the first thing. Someone who does this should rot in hell. But what about someone does a mistake, because they are so attached to one person? Are there really sins which cant be forgiven? I thought Waheguru forgives everyone who chooses the path oh Waheguru Ji. And how does Waheguru forgive?

Help with kaam and faith
by Guest MoorakhMugdaJanamPya- 9 replies

WJKK, WJKF I am a moorakh for falling into kaam and I have dug myself into a pit of faithlessness. This started a few months ago where I tried no fap and it somehow turned into a search for proof of god. I couldn’t find any proofs and should have known there is none because waheguru never lets his hand be shown to people who don’t look for it. I almost became atheist before realizing that calling the gurus mentally Ill or liars , the same jot that sacrificed their 4 sahibzade, sent their father to dehli to protect someone else’s dharam, the same jot whose institutions started in their first form still feed thousands every day, is so bleak. I try to let go of kaam but…
