Let's throw this in the mix. Haven't seen all of it yet. Looks 'controversial'. Don't agree with any slander of Sant Bhindranwala ji though. I know for a fact he wasn't casteist:

There were huge protests around India and many Sikhs helped protestors and very vocal about opposing the bills some years back. But why exactly did Sikhs oppose NRC & CAA? Wouldn't that bill be beneficial to Sikhs? Since it granted a swifter path to Indian citizenship under the assumption of religious persecution to any individual belonging to the specific minorities of Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, who entered India on or before 31 December 2014. According to the Intelligence Bureau, the immediate beneficiaries of the new law would've been 25,447 Hindus, 5,807 Sikhs, 55 Christians, 2 Buddhist…

Sangat Jio, I got married in Punjab in 2019. Wife came into UK end of 2019 and we have a house of our own since summer 2021. Before I was with parents. Been a year and since moving we couldn't be any happier. Parents do come and see us and our son who is 2.5 months. We live only 2 miles apart. Wife might work in the future and I earn minimum rate. With Kirpa and due to honest living everything is going well. Due to my mother's ruthless reputation in and even out the house like in society I took the step to move out. My wife was suffocating and I was being dragged down as well. End of 2020 we made plans t move out. In one year my wife and Ma have go…

Brothers once again we see the ugly head of arya samaj hindustani hindu terrorists rise above the gutter trying to invite and provoke Sikhs into physical confrontation with the intention of labelling our community as villians and terrorists so we have to be careful to their gameplan. These anti-sikh dogs have barked for a long time in fact in the 19th century seeing the success of the Sikh religion and philosophy convert many a hindu, buddhist and muslim to the faith they with jealously tried to create a reform movement based on Sikh model and principles in effort to stop the flow of hindu's (in particular low caste hindus) into Sikhism. And when the punjab was split in 1…

I wanted to get a view on the topic of ashes- in Sikhism are we allowed to keep a small part of ashes for a keepsake in a small urn or for jewellery whilst scattering the rest in a river? I am asking for a friend who is struggling with the loss of her daughter she doesn’t want to do anything that goes against our faith or isn’t the right thing for her daughters journey in afterlife but at the same time is struggling with the ashes ceremony and wishing to keep some ashes. Please forgive no offence intended by this question.

What is causing all the root problems for Sikhs? From weak leaders who can't run Punjab. To society issues in the Punjabi Sikh community back home and in the west Let's look at some main issues. Broken marriages/divorces, domestic violence, crime, sexual offenses/rape adultery, physical and mental health problems, family break downs, money, low morality, ethics and values and the list goes on ect. Feel free to add more issues affecting us. Can we pinpoint a root cause for all the above? I have a theory why Sikhs are failing not just in the west but in more importantly our own homeland Punjab.
