  1. During the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh a lot of 'non Sikh' architecture crept in and stayed there till the Singh Sabha Movement rose up - we even had IDOLS in Sri Harmandar Sahib in the early 1900's!! A lot of Paintings were also done during Ranjit Singh's time and in the time of the Mahants which enforced a Hinduized Version of Sikhi with weird pics of Hindu Gods and Guru's with Tikkas on their forehead I think some may even be on the actual Gold itself on the walls of Harmandar Sahib and surroinding buildings. So it does not come as a surprise that illuminatti symbols may be present inside the complex as we Sikhs do not have the brains to work things out, thankfully most of the old frescos have been whitewashed - I can't stand pics showing our Guru's with Tikkas alongside Hindu Gods - this is totally wrong. We FOR SOME weird reason have also allowed the INDIAN ARMY write their names on the walls in the marble and floor of the complex - whats the reason for that??? Is that a nishani of Ghulami Slavery - we allow the names of the regiments of the Indian Army to be present in the very Complex they tried to destroy - before anything as soon as Sikhs get freedom we have to wipe these symbols of Ghulami away remove all references to the Indian Army and their evil regiments - Would Banda Singh Bahadur allow the names of Mogul regiments in our Gurdwaras at the time I don't think so and neither would he have allowed these other Hindu symbols alongside Illuminatti ones We all fully well know that the Brahmanvadi soch is the real Illuminati with the CASTE SYTEM STRUCTURE - ie the Pyramid with the Bhaman being the all seeing eye - they are the illuminatti

  2. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh, Khalsa jio / sangat jio I just want put my views on this site. I have been a member for some time and just used to read the forums. But now I'm in a new line of work and have some spare time now to use the internet whilst at work. I posted a comment the other day under a recent topic that was about a singh in the U.S marine dying but i should have started a new post. The comment I posted was that ' Why do singh's choose to fight for evil corrupt (american / british) army's who kill millions of innocent people.' What I should have included is that Singh's should only be fighting for akaal purakh . As Maharaj Guru Gobind Singh JI said 'Khalsa Kaal Purakh Ki Fauj'. Also I think we (khalsa) need to start thinking the same and have the same views, That way we can unite . On this site there are alot of mixed views which are not really helping the panth for example the army subject above, How is the Khalsa Fauj going to progress if we go fighting for these country's? Please forgive me if you think I've said anything wrong, Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh

  4. What do you guys expect? I mean one of the main princilpes of sikhism is about equality and not differentiating between castes but sadly this is definitely not followed by many sikhs today. In my opinion not only Sikhs but everyone should not believe in the caste system, it is mean and outdated. These "low-caste" ppl are not even considered sikh, I've heard the word "Adharmi" used for them. Furthermore I dont think anyone converting to christianity is anyone's business. Everyone has the freedom to practice the religion of their choice and besides isnt Sikhi all about One God anways?? I think you guys are forgetting that. I dont think these missionaries should be using sikh words as mentioned earlier though but other than that its really not that big of a deal. There are other issues in this world bigger than this.

  6. Wjkk Wjkf How much do we truly respect our true guru? Nowadays it seems that we as a panth have gone back to sleep and have blindly allowed the disrespect of Akaal Purakh Waheguru to continue. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Jagdi Jot, The living light of all our guru sahibs and every ang of sri guru granth sahib ji from the first ang to the 1430th is a part of our guru... Every Bani from Sri Japji Sahib to Raag Mala is a part of out king of kings... Every shabad from Ik Onkaar to Attaran Das Bees is a part of our eternal guru... Today we cannot have a ten minute conversation without calling Guru Ji 'IT". Look at our glorious history what does it show... During the horrific days of November 1984, where our true guru was thrown out of their own houses and burnt, they sacrificed themselves over 2,500 TIMES for us... Not too long ago, here in the UK in March 2009 a Gurdwara in Harley Grove, Bow, East London was burnt to the ground and with it was the entire sachkand complex of the building. This resulted in many Gutka Sahibs and 11 saroops of our true guru being burnt. With Maharaj's kirpa the Antham Sanskaar of these saroops was carried out in East London and then the pavitar ashes or our guru sahibs were taken back up to Sachkhand. Just look at how glorious our panth was back in the day, where it was AWAKE and an example of this was seen during the 1960's. On the 11th September 1959 at Gurdwara Akhand Prakash Village Bhindar Kalan (Damdami Taksal), great Sant Mahapurkhs held an urgent meeting regarding the changing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee's Mangals by the SGPC. These great souls of the panth would not tolerate the Beadbi of our eternal guru and stopped it happening. Some of the Mahapurkhs present at the meeting include : Sant Inder Singh Jee, Sant Hari Singh Jee, Sant Isher Singh Jee Rara Sahib, Sant Isher Signh Jee Kalera, Sant Ajaib Singh Jee, Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee Bhindranwale, Bhai Sant Singh Jee, Sant Mohinder Singh Jee Harkhoval , Bhai Sarvan Singh Jee, Sant Nand Singh Jee Raamghar, Sant Vasaakha Singh Jee, Sant Mela Singh Jee, Giani Niranjan Singh Jee and Sant Kartaar Singh Jee Bhindranwale. These are the true diamonds of the panth, and we are all their brothers and sisters... So it's time to make a stand and WAKE UP and Stop SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE'S BEADBI... MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE ITSELF, IS THE RESPECT OF DHAN DHAN SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE MAHARAJ... Sorry if any thing on the post is wrong, if it is could you please correct me... (p.s. - could admin please make this a sticky, if other things such as what individuals do for the panth deserve a place as a sticky then surely a post to do with Beadbi and Satkaar of Guru Ji, our true eternal guru, deserves a place as a sticky) WJKK WJKF

Update Focus Punjab – Shaheed Parivaars Focus Punjab – Shaheed Parivaars: Since the Focus Punjab project was extended to include the monthly welfare support for the Sikh families who have lost their sons and fathers to the violent and destructive period from mid 1980's to mid 1990's. (http://www.ensaaf.org/publications/) Khalsa Aid has been inundated with urgent requests for support. Although we have a fulltime employee in Punjab, who coordinates the allocation of support for Shaheed Parivaars, we regularly send volunteers to oversee and support the projects. Although the state sponsored massacres (Operation Woodrose) during the 1980s to 1990s in Punjab were turbulent and horrific, we cannot and should not forget those who are still suffering from the consequences. Following a needs and means assessment, Khalsa Aid is providing monthly support to these affected families, who are more commonly known as Shaheed Parivaars. KA Volunteers Kiratraj Singh and Karam Kaur earlier this month travelled to Punjab, and were understandably overwhelmed with what they saw: To control your tears while Mata ji and Pita Ji and their families relive the events of 1984 and tell us about their Shaheed Singhs is indescribable..These Mothers are the Jewels of our Panth, they sacrificed so much for the Panth, but why don’t we care about them? "We have met countless families of Shaheed Singh’s and its absolutely heartbreaking to see the level of poverty which these families are STILL living in!” Karam Kaur Khalsa Aid is eternally grateful to the Sangat, as through the support of the Sangat we were able to provide Rs. 3 Lakh to Major Dalbir Singh, Dharmi Fauji. We had earlier shown to the Sangat what the conditions this family was living in, their house was decrepit and dilapidated and did not provide even shelter from the elements. Now he and his family can finally live in a house with full shelter. Karam and Kiratraj were shocked after visiting Shaheed Satnaam Singh Cheena family and seeing with their own eyes the level of poverty his widow and son were living in. Monetary support was provided, including the start of monthly welfare support and unlimited support for his son education. If any member of the Sangat wishes to see our projects, or meet a sponsored family in Punjab, we are happy to provide transport and facilitate the visit. 11. People on this forum need to be careful of watching conspiracy videos and visiting conspiracy sites. The Flower of life symbol can also be found in Hampi and Ajanta in southern India. These sites range from 300 BC for Ajanta to 1300 AD for Hampi. So it's highly unlikely that the British had anything to do with bringing these symbols to India as they existed prior to their arrival. This symbol along with others would have been known to craftsmen in India so when the marble was laid these symbols would have been placed there. No great conspiracy.

  12. When Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj finised the Katha of Guru Granth Sahib, Guruji assigned Baba Deep Singh Ji and Baba Mani Singh ji the duty of santhyia and parchar. Both Gurmukhs wished to be be-deh mukht (liberated with their bodies) like the other Singhs who had achieved this at the bhog of the katha. Guru Maharaj granted them the boon that both Baba Deep Singh Ji and Baba Mani Singh Ji would enjoy continous spiritual anand and maintain their high avasthas even if their head was cut off or their body cut limb by limb, respectively. In essence Guru Maharaj granted them unique shahadats, totally unparalleled, which would inspire Khalsa Panth for ages to come. Baba Ji's shahadat was not a karamat, it was Guruji's bachan being fulfilled. When Guruji wants to show something to the world, they can, there is nothing limiting them. Many times they show these things to the world to bring praise for their saints and warriors.

  20. I completely agree with the post by kam veerji. I am feeling such way for the long time and somewhat i tried to work on my own to do something good but realized that its good only if work done by team of volunteers. We are left very much far behind if compared with other faiths. We do not take things seriously nor we have any team spirit at all. All those who got talent or are active have some sort of ideology "My way or highway" (which is still kinda better than doing nothing). What i really think is that we really need a few selected individuals to start a project where it actually involves members of the forum to do something more effective practical and put all talents in use. We need to be more pro-active and stress more on building defense rather than just concentrating more on offense. One example i can give is.. when 9/11 attack happened, we all scrambled and bumped into each other and puzzled on what to do and how to tell our neighbors and community about sikhs and turban etc.. We started printing calendars, leaflets, brochures and distributed it to ppl for few months and then everything stopped. I mean come'on there are more than 300 million americans and but by distributing few thousands is not finishing our goal. This shows how small our mind or goal is. We should start something where proper training or information is given to those who wants to volunteer. I attended one political party training where they tell you how to approach others and convince them to vote to particular party. It was awesome 2-day training and hall was full.

  21. vjkk vjkf! I think that this is an excellent idea. Perhaps Sikhsangat.com could dedicate an area of its website for users to upload katha/audio? alternatively, if somebody could create a site for this purpose that would be great. Please could you advise on a good audio recording device I could purchase for this seva. Vjkk Vjkf!

  23. "The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service." - Albert Einstein The truth must be told no matter, even if people want to hear it or not. I agree with this. Its not a debate. He died for the interersts of the banking cartels. The taliban was created by the CIA on record. The media tells lies. Just like they said there was WMD's in Iraq. If you follow orders unquestiongly, how does that make you an honourable hero? More like a coward to me(im not calling him a coward, i am the coward, he is just brainwashed like the rest of the world, by the media). We should only obey orders from the Guru unquestionably. The fact of the matter is, this person whilst he may of had pure intentions in the military. He was not serving humanity, he was serving the interests of a private few individuals. How do we know he didn't harm innocent civilians? The people of the world and the people in uniforms, we do not know what is really going on. Because if we did, there would have been world peace by now. You are more likely to get stung by a bee and struck by lightning, than be involved in a terrorist attack. So ever wondered about all these "terror surveillance" "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety". - Benjamin Franklin 9/11 was a false flag, like the Reichstage Fire in Germany, And the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam. If these "soldiers" used the same drive and passion, they do to fight the "enemy" for instead helping feed the starving people of the world, imagine where we would be. The US's defence budget is over 1 trillion dollars, that money could be used to feed every single person in the world, and provide them with shelter. So don't tell me these soldiers "fight for our safety", its only by God's grace are we kept alive, as he wills we come and go.

  24. Fateh jio Confidence is a problem for a lot of us...u can either choose to deal with it by being shy(not advised), or you can let the world see you as confident by having faith in yourself and mahraaj! A lot of ppl probably feel the same if they've not been in work for three years but it's never too late to make changes...u might also be feeling like this as u feel ur family are supporting u and u feel u need to be doing something with ur life... Basically as a sister,my advice would be to take on board the above, have faith in yourself rather than shy away, put yourself out there for work and any voluntary opportunities that will get u into a routine of getting out of the house, meeting new people, making new friends etc...even going and helping with some sewa at ur local Gurdwara....help out some of the aunties n uncles... It's rewarding and will give u things to do and keep ur mind off the confidence issue and it will fade And st every opportunity, listen to or recite chaupai sahib which will lift ur spirits-chardi kala...and do ardaas that waheguru helps u too...he will as waheguru always listens
