  1. There is no such thing as shaitan concept in sikhi as there is no dualism as such. This term is invented by sikhs who is more influenced by protestant Anglican Christianism than gurmat advait sidhant.

  2. Because Guru Sahibs told us to recognise the whole human race as one. And since homosexuals are humans too, it's only right that they get the same rights as every other human beings. Sikhs are to stand up for the oppressed regardless of how different their views might be in comparison to Sikhi, that's what makes Khalsa so unique. It's the ability to recognise everyone as one, keep sikhi rehat and at the same time fight for the rights of people who might be the furthest away from sikhi and/or akal purakh. And unlike murderers, rapists and molester a gay person isn't taking someone's life or causing them a lifetime of pain. According to Sikhi the actions of a gay person are pushing them further into kaam and thus are pushing them away from realising akal purakh. But that is between the person and akal purakh, which we cannot control or influence as not standing up for them isn't going to stop them from being gay. But choosing not to stand up for a community because their lifestyle varies from ours by a great deal is certainly going to make realising akal purakh a little bit harder for us.

  3. Rapist, murderers, molesters etc are imposing their will on the other person. The biggest gift GOD gave to any being is their free will. If people stop imposing their wills on other people gay issue, meat issue (animals have free will too) have only one answer , mind you own business and if two people want to join in whatever its their free will. Guru Nanak refused to wear janeau. Guru Teg Bhadur ji gave his life for janeau, rights of hindus. Even though this whole life drama is an illusion they biggest lesson is uncondition, non jugmental , non condemning love for all.

  4. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh "eh muslim priwaar har mahene ik war darbar sahib de darshan karan jroor aunda hai galbaat de dauran enha dasea k 1984 vich jdo ik sikh (nishan singh na dasea ena os sikh veer da) hindua to bachdea hoyea ena de ghar aa wadeaa ta ena ne apne ik put de sir te pag ban k jis de dhadi rakhi hoie c nu onha de havale kr dita te onha ne enha de samne agg jiode nu la diti .galbaat daoran eh sab futt futt k ro paye ate kendhe asi ethe allha da sukar krn aunde ha par asi apne dharm vich parpakk ha ate kehnde saanu etho di rohaaniat sanu khich leaodi hai." "This Muslim family come to Darbar Sahib every month for darshan. While talking to them, they told that in 1984, a sikh ( his name was Nishan Singh) running from Hindus came to their house for shelter. They tied turban to one of their son's head, who has beard, and gave him to the Hindu mob. Their son was burnt alive in front of their eyes. They started crying during this conversation. They said that they come to Darbar Sahib to thank Allah but they are devout Muslims. The roohaniat of Darbar Sahib brings them here" Before bashing other religions, please understand that TRUTH exists in every religion. At the end, God will not judge us based on our religion, but on our actions.Lets improve our actions and be what our Gurus want us to be. Consider all human race as one!!

  5. The family itself claims they are staunch Muslims. Just for your info, Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj is Jagat Guru, meaning Guru of ENTIRE humanity, NOT just Sikhs. Not happy to delete them either. Fine, then let them.

  6. Credible source? Milk has been drank for years upon years, I don't think people had much trouble. The USA has all these health probelms because of crap diet. Junk food etc. However, homogonised milk may be worse than non-homogenised because the fat particles are made smaller, this might make it harder to absorb vitamins like A and E. I've been drinking 5-10 cups at least for the past 15 years of my life. I've never broken a bone.

  7. You have entirely missed the point. And if you realise homosexuality is a manmath behaviour and still feel an impulsion to protect the 'right's' of people to practice this behaviour then your seriously confused. Yes Guru Sahib taught us to treat the human race as one but this has nothing to do with 'human race'. This is a behaviour that is not only out of line with Sikhi, but a hinderemce to salvation. There should be no obligation to protect the 'right's' of people to practice it. Would yoi start protecting the 'rights' of alcoholics to drink more alcohol or encourage/help them in quiting drinking? Our actions MUST be consistent with our parchar. Nanak naam chardi kala, tere bhane sarbat da bhala.

  8. Calm down now Neosingh. Simmer down my friend. Nobody said anything about sham marriages for immigration purposes being 'acceptable' but you have, 3 times now on this thread, associated immigration sham marriages with 'incest' and 'peadophilia'. Its almost as if you believe people in a sham marriage actually sleep with each other. If, even after taking a few deep breaths you find yourself still as angry and irate as a Daily Mail reader then may I suggest, if you're from the UK, you ask your parents or grandparents for the truth of how so and so in your family came to this country in the 60's. After hearing the answers, and knowing how angry you are, I fully expect you to give yourself a damn good beating before throwing yourself out of the country in disgust at yourself. Seriously now bruvs, the thread is about the true evils of peadophilia and incest. You cheapen the seriousness of those crimes by likening them to insurance fraud and immigration fraud.

  9. Having a 'sham marriage' with someone on paper for a few months just to get immigration clearance is hardly the same thing as actually having sexual relations with them neosingh. The vast majority of Sikhs that came into the UK in the 1960's came by doing very similar sorts of things. Sister's pretended to be wives......brothers pretended to be sons.....strangers pretended to be children etc.

  10. I don't understand how this has become an issue for debate ? If we were having this discussion 10 years ago we would have all agreed that homosexuality is a sin. But today due to the western world accepting homosexuals people find it a means by which we must change our religious values in order to be harmonious with society.

  11. Yes bro I agree with you in the sense that heterosexuality is kaam at the end of the day. But when you take pre-marital sex, adultery and promiscuity out, with a deviation to god, gristi jeaven between husband & wife is what Guru Ji has advocated. Indeed 9 out of 10 of our Guru's lived a married life (other than Guru Har Krishan who passed away aged 8). Yes sex is integral to procreation, but there is much more it than just that. I suggest you read the 4 lavh's read in an Anand Karaj. Bhul chug maaf

  12. Does Satguru say heterosexuals can do as they please after Anand Karaj or has Satguru instructed Sikh married couples conduct? Heterosexuality and homosexuality are both rejected in Sikhi. You don't need to be heterosexual to have your own kids or to even live a householders lifestyle. There are many dangers to the body for heterosexuals and homosexuals. Both think in the same manner and are wishing for the same excitement, but one is permitted by society and the other is restricted by man made laws. I agree that Anand Karaj is for man and woman only as Satguru instructed us and this cannot be changed. But being a heterosexual is just much of a sin as being homosexual. Satguru says to rise above both lower energies. If heterosexuals were so righteous they would see that Raam exist in all and adopt a child from a poor country. But heterosexuals need a kid that looks like them, with their DNA, with their features and skin color. Who will carry on our family name............an adopted child.....never he is not one of us. What if the adopted child does not love me as much, where will I get my moh from and who will fill the empty hole in my life.... Religion should not be used to mask either sides failings. Public safety is the only reason why homosexuals should not be allowed to be married in front of the secular court. But life and liberty over powers the right of public safety as there is a low risk on public safety. If people are worried about public safety around health care they should really be advocating to banning smoking and other highly addictive substance all together. Many establishments are started off the bases of heterosexuality and they have a huge negative impact on society. Yet they are openly promoted by all sources of media and institutions. Christian's really have a problem with homosexuality because secular regulations and policies are not so secular as they start off with God.

  13. Ask, scientists today science is about politics. They are hand to mouth for grants, and yea they will find what wants to be found. Look up all the metal tools found in rocks 100k's years old, or footprints with dinosaurs or humans milions of years old wearing sandals. Why is the most ancient name for India, Island?? The most ancient human name given. VJKVJF||

  15. Sikh government is helping sikhs , hindu government is helping hindus. Khalistan Zindabad|| I'd say looting a gurudawara is a declaration of war enough. I'd say there's two groups of people who complain of being victims and loot others; they both seem to border muslim countries.

  16. ^^ apparently that is still an insult to our holy place and stupid to say such things to scared stranded sangat. Typical IAS officer attitude in India. Anyway, very bad incident where turban was taken off and only higher officials are responsible for sending unprepared officials while they still enjoy vacationing abroad.

  19. Surpisingly I have noticed that whenever I go to my local Ravidass temple (not in the UK) there is a high element of caste put in place. "This is what is wrong with us chamars!" "That chamar, this chamar..." is all you ever hear. They also adhere to the Radha-Soami ideology. Surprisingly they separated themselves from the "jatt" gurugahr (as they see it) on the false pretext that they were victims of discrimination. Never seen the like in the said Gurughar, but when it suits them they all run to the same jatts for a donation to build their gurughar. It's sheer hypocrisy. They even visit the other gurugahr whose committee they accuse of subtle stratification. The big problem are the bhais they call over from India. These guys butter them up extensively. "WHY DOESN'T THE WORLD CALL GURU RAVIDASS GURU OPENLY?????" "GURU RAVIDASS DID THIS DID THAT WHAT HAVE WE DONE!!!!!" All the dharnas they sing are plagerised off popular Sikh dharnas glorifying the Gurus and Gurbani. Its sheer hypocrisy and when u say it to their face they retreat beyond "STRATIFICATION AND DISCRIMINATION." One Bhai even went as so far to say that Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not go to sachkhand whilst bathing in Bein but secretly swam to a nearby location where along with GURU (they have made the term a cliche now) Ravidass BHAGAT( and then we have this) Dhaana, Bhagat Kabir along with him birthed IK-ONKAAR. Of course the chamars are bound to go all hypo when no one's explained Sikhi to them in-depth. Their own label is being slapped on their faces and they don't like it. If I shout out chamar I am racist, if however killer chamars sings putt chamara de hes a revolutionary.

  23. Why are you on a sikh forum then? India is not a nation, and Sub Saharan Africa is less tribal than India as the people have forgotten their identity and love JEEEEESSUUUUS. The main issue there is racial, i.e arab vs black, or dutch vs black. I guess this is also because of the fact that a large portion of west africa is only Bantu, east africa does have tribal problems but it's nowhere near the scale of India. Before someone brings up 'Rwanda' it was Churchill the bringer of the Bengal Famine of WW2 who said people scream at Chinese Famine but ignore that more people die or live near death in India everyday. India been that place, and we just gonna bring it up whether that means splitting from that horrendous corporation to do it, well that was already decided in 1984. Outside the costal areas of China, it is hell on earth. If you vote badal you aren't a sikh anyway. And no 'jatts' don't actually go around cursing chamars everyday.

  24. The singh should have crushed the security guard soon as his dastaar was touched we can get him out of the legal case later as they will use corporate law and we will claim common law jurisdiction. Simple stuff, not a burn the 'victim' thing but there's no victim in this case only an action waiting to happen. VJKVJF||

  25. Nope, Jazzy B is pretty normal actually. Aside from the fact he's a famous singer. He's a moderate Punjabi Sikh and he's fiercely proud of his roots. He's also a musician and selling records is his job. Like it or not sex appeal sells. Life is full of contradictions. I know you REALLY want to say he's 'not a true Sikh', but Jazzy B never claimed to be super religious (although he has done devotional music...). When it comes to the kind of sleaze the music industry IS CAPABLE of then seriously Jazzy B... REALLY isn't that bad . At least he's not a typical 'Gangsta Rapper'... And yes I have seen 'This Party Gettin Hot'... It's hilariously crappy. Fact of the matter is Jazzy B is a legend in the music industry (considered the king of Bhangra). Instead of thinking about how much of regular Mona Sikh he is, you SHOULD be thinking... How much GOOD is this guy doing, is he helping Sikhism become more well known, successful and acclaimed? The answer is YES, so we should support him instead of trying to alienate him. The same goes for any Sikh in showbiz, judge them for the good they can do AS WELL AS calling them out for the bad. The fact that the first and pretty much only South Asian singer to break into America with English music is a Punjabi Sikh called Kamaljit Singh Jhooti (Jay Sean) and wears a kara. You CANNOT DENY that there are Sikhs (especially girls since all he seems to do is love songs ) that feel good about that. Hard Kaur on the other hand... She's just another talentless rapper and she's been around forever. She seems to try and get attention by being controversial and sleazy... and still nobody really cares. As far as I can tell she's not doing much good for Sikhs or anyone. Also the fact that she has KAUR in her stagename is freaking ridiculous, you can't even separate her from her Sikh roots and see her as JUST A PERSON WHO HAPPENS TO BE A RAPPER...

  26. Confused...? When you hear stories of the old Khalsa being amazing warriors when comparing to the Khalsa you see today...? Out of respect for the shaheeds of yesterday, and the one's continuing today, I would like to say that for one example Rajiv Gandhi said over 700 IA were killed by 20-40 men.

  27. True, when you are a teen, and some smartass calls you a Giani it completely shatters the confidence of the teen. Many kids end up cutting their kesh because they don't want to look like a "Giani". Strangest thing is, it's apne that do this mocking of a person who keeping Guru Jee's sroop. Add to that, our girls prefer to marry Monas over Keshdharis. The trend is always against the Singhs. But one must see this as a test from Guru Jee. If you are weak and cave in by cutting your kesh, you lose Guru Jee's blessings. But if you show the world that you reject the world and instead want Guru Jee's Kushi, then you have the kirpa of Guru Jee with you.

  29. That pedo and grooming is their religion! Mohammed engaged in it himself, if a barber said Sikhs messed up my bussiness and hates people with long hair, and he makes fun of that. That is Sikhi! So it's the same thing, why not go look at sunna the path of mohammed that every muslim is supposed to follow. Mohammed married a 6 year old girl in his late 50's and slept with her at 9. So, we shouldn't think all Muslims are the same but Islam is not a just ideology. Tbh, all 3 abhrahamic faiths that claim all others will go to hell seriously sound like schizo things to me, look at judaism and the torah saying all gentiles are animals in human form to serve the jews. It doesn't matter waht the EDl thinks, but what they do. If they are not attacking sikhs, but are against Muslims doing this stuff, we stand by them! Start from 1:20 'Muslim Patrol' only 2 lol what would happen against sikhs or anyone with some stones?
