  1. It's weird, i was talking about this to a girl 2 days ago- this girl had turned to spirituality while trying to deal with relationship problems. It took me over 2 years to get over someone I was in love with so I get your pain. I started off doing Amrit vela paath- I wasn't amritdhari or anything- was just in so much dukhi like I had never felt before and turned to Guru Nanak for solace. I also started naam simran and eventually it just became seva of naam- naam simran and doing good for others. After 2 days I started having spiritual experiences and darshans and then I felt that I could never turn back as life was no longer what I thought it was. I knew it wasn't before but these experiences had such an effect on me that I could no longer deny for even a second that the world isn't how the vast majority of the worlds inhabitants see it. My extreme dukh had led to extreme sukh and love of a kind that I had never even felt possible. The thing is that when our karam is very favorable, our dukhi leads to a strike back on maya- instead of sinking under all the pain- we detach from it, we practice truth to an extent that we go back to the balance between dark and light. Then if hukam calls for it- we Go even deeper into the nothingness to discover and experience the gyan of truth and we proceed to apply what we learn in our daily lives-we begin to live truthfully. The more Pain- the more we detach, hence dukh=sukh.

The Vatican FINALLY confirms the visit of Il Prima Guru Dei Sikhs, the first Guru of the Sikhs. Ufficio Papa (office of the Pope) confirms about Satguru Nanak Sahib visit to Rome and other towns of Italy (by courtesy of Pope Benedict-12 and his Arch-Bishop, Dom Jose Ronaldo Rebeiro dated Feb 27, 2013). Arch-Bishop Dom Jose Ronaldo of Pope Benedict-XII, speaks about Satguru Nanak Sahib visit to Rome with a musician, in 1518 AD, and Satguru stayed in Mussoleum-F of Old St.Peter’s Basillica. Satguru advocated to Leo-X, (the Pope) “Liberty of Slavery”. He told the Pope that nobody has the right to enslave others. Almighty Satguru told the worthy Pope that every human being has the same blood in his or her veins. Satguru discussed in detail the “Missionario Humantario (Universal Human Mission). Why do non-Sikhs seem to be working for humanity more than Sikhs? Zeitgeist Moving Forward (2+ hours): The first 5 minutes show the similarity to Sikhi. The Venus Project (1.5 hour lecture): Jacque Fresco on allowing people to smoke (1 minuts): Please comment. It seems we need to support these worldwide projects before it's too late.

  7. My question to the British Police what's there to consider? Police consider disciplining officer accused of grooming teenage girlMatthew Rees remains suspended from duty after Crown Prosecution Service drop charges against him Sandra Laville theguardian.com, Wednesday 18 September 2013 17.03 BST Matthew Rees remains suspended from duty as a constable with the City of London police. Photograph: Martin Rose/Eastnews Press Agency/Peter Lawson/Eastnews Press Agency A police force is considering disciplinary action against an officer accused of "grooming" a teenage girl following an investigation by social services. Matthew Rees, 32, remains suspended from duty as a constable with the City of London Police while senior officers consider misconduct charges against him. The officer, who has denied any wrongdoing, was arrested in December last year and charged with possessing indecent images of a child after explicit pictures of the girl were found on his phone. A social services report, seen by the Guardian, concluded that Rees had subjected the girl – whom he met when she was 15 at their local swimming club – to a "powerful process" of grooming. But the Crown Prosecution Service abandoned the case this week after a judge at Chelmsford crown court asked them to review it. The decision comes less than a year after Keir Starmer QC, the DPP, claimed a watershed moment had been reached in the prosecution of sexual offences against children and young people in the wake of the Jimmy Savile affair, saying vulnerable victims had been treated in the past with a "degree of caution which is not generally justified". The Rees case also comes against the backdrop of concern among senior police officers and the police complaints watchdog about sexual misconduct by officers. The Guardian revealed last month that 169 officers and staff are under investigation for inappropriate relationships and sexual misconduct offences. The girl's father said: "This man had 24 images on his phone of my daughter which were deemed to be indecent by lawyers when they viewed them in December. Now suddenly after the judge raises questions they are not proceeding against him. It seems that while under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 you are considered a child until you are 18 the agencies employed to enforce the law don't uphold that. "If you are a girl aged between 16 and 18 you seem to fall into some legal black hole." The parents are also unclear why charges relating to alleged grooming were not pursued against Rees. "We are extremely disappointed and we don't understand why he was not charged with a grooming offence," said the girl's mother. "He met her when she was 15. He is a 32-year-old man who as a police officer is in a position of trust and authority. When my daughter asked if what they were doing was wrong, he told her it was not wrong. When it all came out and I talked to her about it, she said: 'Mum he is a police officer, I trusted him'. "The judge has opened it up for men to think it is OK to target girls when they are 14 or 15 and then wait until they turn 16 and have sex with them." The relationship between Rees and the girl emerged after an anonymous call to social services last year in which the caller said they were concerned about the relationship. Officers from Essex police child protection command began an investigation into whether there were elements of grooming the girl and other young people. Essex Social services produced a report in which they concluded: "X has been groomed by Matt Rees and … this has been such a powerful process that there was nothing the parents could have done to prevent this from happening." But social services said the girl had made no disclosures of any sexual activity taking place prior to her being 16.One aspect of the case examined by detectives was how the girl came to be in possession of two pay-as-you-go mobile phones. Officers are also known to have spoken to at least one other young woman whom Rees allegedly started a relationship with when she was in her mid teens after apparently meeting her at the same Amateur Swimming Association club. Forensic examination of phones in the case revealed that the girl involved in the latest case had sent 24 images to Rees which he held on his phone for several months. They were considered to be level one indecent images (meaning they included erotic posing but no sexual activity), and he was charged. But at a hearing earlier this month Judge Anthony Goldstaub QC called for the case to be reviewed – resulting in the CPS dropping it on Monday. Andrew Jackson, prosecuting, told the court: "Disregarding the nature of a relationship between a 32-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, it seems we would have difficulty, evidentially, proving to a jury that the images were indecent. "That being the case, it has been decided that there is no realistic prospect of conviction. "In the circumstance, we offer no evidence." Rees was present in court to hear that the charge had been dropped. His lawyer Andrew Compton said: "My client was in a perfectly legitimate relationship, although there was a significant age difference. "The photos were neither requested or indecent. At no stage has he ever sought to abuse his position. "These proceedings have been hanging over him for many, many months and a stain on his character is one which we hope now will begin to go away. "It has been a difficult time for him and his family." A spokesman for City police said a review of the evidence was being carried out to assess the grounds for pursuing a misconduct hearing. "City of London Police expects all its officers and staff to uphold the highest professional standards and will deal with those employees who fail to meet those standards with appropriate disciplinary action," the spokesman said. Russell Haldane, the solicitor who represents Rees, said it would be inappropriate to make further comment at this time. Essex Police refused to comment. The Amateur Swimming Association was approached but did not comment. Jim Gamble, an expert in the investigation of grooming cases, said he had concerns about the case. "It is deeply concerning given the fact that the child was 15 when they first engaged in a relationship and that as a police officer he was in a position of trust and authority. "In child sexual exploitation cases very often the evidence is contained on the technology that the perpetrators hold." The CPS said lawyers had considered a grooming charge under section 15 of the Sexual Offences Act – meeting a child following sexual grooming – but it was decided there was insufficient evidence to support it. Prosecutors confirmed they were passed information relating to an allegation of sexual offending against another alleged victim, a 14-year-old girl, in 2003 but the alleged victim was unwilling to give evidence. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/sep/18/police-consider-disciplining-officer-teenage-girl/print

  8. I just love this video ! this is the shorter version and far more interesting https://vimeo.com/67993514 I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but this is an absolute genius level of comedy any credibility that was left was smashed by this video,... hehhehehee plus I love the bit, where his student prophesises the reincarnation of the yet unborn legend of Shastarvidiya, that will one day walk through the doors of the akhara and save shastarvidiya for all mankind. and his son is a legend.... ...brilliant ! whoever made this video should get an award ! one thing which struck me as odd is that whenever Nidar does a demo with his students, they all tend to 'pull their punches hold back and kind of are programmed to let him do his thing and ensure he looks good'. there are many occasions where they could just make a strike from behind or show that he has prematurely turned his back to an opponent with a simple strike to the head or neck, but they just hold back also why is he teaching his students to fight from within the middle of a group of attackers, throwing out strikes randomly like a madman, surely you should pick one assailant and try to put him between you and the rest of the group, get on the outside so you are in a much better position to make an escape or be able to retaliate in any realistic way. and some would say you should never get into that situation in the first place. the fact that Nidar went on national media and said he is the last shastarvidiya master, is a besti to his students, because it implies that none of his students are really good enough or have the potential to take over after him, so he is having to resort to advertising in mainstream newspapers looking for a potential candidate, who can show more promise then his current 'supposedly' useless students.

  11. It just stuns me as to how many parents let their kids play these games when there is a massive warning label and age certificate on the cover. It's there for a reason! Just waiting for the Daily Mail to get all knee-jerky and outraged about it now when the muggings and beatings start, which it already has, as evidenced by the article posted above.

  12. The three khans (aamir, salman and shahrukh) are hated by the mullahs. Salman was declared non-muslim a couple of years back for having hindu religious festivals at his home like every year, and saying that he was hindu and muslim. Shahrukh was the object of much hatred because he put the koran at the feet of a statue of durga in one of his documentaries, and because he got married in a hindu way to his wife. Both just shrugged it of and continued...

  14. PP02, you need to drill one thing into your head bro. Those who became Muslims did so because they feared death. Those who became Sikhs did so because death itself feared them. That is the only way I can summarize all of it.

  15. There is no census or other data to confirm Sikhs converted to Islam in large numbers. In fact, historical sources hint towards the opposite. During the period of the Gurus, nearly half of the Sikh community came from the Muslim community. Then due to persecution and genocides at the hands of Muslims, the Sikh population was reduced to only about 5% of Punjab's population during the 1700s. When Maharaja Ranjit Singh ruled over Punjab Sikh population grew to about 15% of the population of Punjab. Some wealthy Muslims and Hindus who had embraced Sikhism during the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh'e time period in order to gain privileges may have reverted back to their former religions(Islam, Hinduism) but there is nothing historical to suggest there was a mass conversion to Islam from amongst the Sikhs, infact it was frowned upon by the Sikhs if someone did so as it is to this day. And Shah Rukh Khan does not have Sikh ancestry. He has Pathan ancestry.

  16. He would have to be a Hindu as Islam arrived in India much before Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Patshah Jee Maharaj. Sikhs converting to Islam back in those days is something exactly opposite to what even Islamic historians have written. Even they have recorded that Sikhs prefer to die than abandon their faith.

  17. I've never met a Pakistani Punjabi who thinks Sikhs and Hindus are the same. The three communities have been living with each other for centuries and know the difference between the two. Sikhs are monotheistic, Hindus are not. Sikhs have turbans and beards, Hindus do not.

  18. You do know that the Khalsa is only a little more than 300 years old, and Sikhs in some form been there for a little more than 500 years old. Most people converted to Sikhs as we know it probably in the last 200 years. So it doesn't make any sense for Sikhs to convert to Islam, however, there are probably lot of muslims who converted to Sikhism. My two cents!

  19. Basketball League Brampton A's Announce First Foreign Player, Dipanjot Singh NBL Network | 12 Sep 2013 01:00 PM GMT | Orangeville, Canada ORANGEVILLE, Ontario. A week after adding two talented and versatile Canadians (Evaldas Zabas & Jameson Tipping) to the roster, the Brampton A's announced the signing of their first foreign player in American Dipanjot Singh. Singh, born in the Punjabi region of India and raised in Evanston, IL comes with an amazing resume of perseverance, vision, and ultimately success. A solid High School player in Illinois, Singh had virtually no scholarship offers to play basketball at the university level. He took his love of basketball to NCAA Division I, University of Illinois at Chicago, where he would "do anything to stay in the game" and offered to become a volunteer student manager (washing uniforms, sweeping the floor, and keeping stats in practice.) While playing pick up one day the Head Coach walked in and saw him doing well against his varsity players and asked him to be on the "scout squad" a non-roster spot, just for practice. In addition to doing well and a roster spot opening up over the summer, he was moved into a non-scholarship position of a walk-on by then coach Jimmy Collins. This role allowed him to dress, be on the bench, and travel with the team. In his final season at UIC, new coach Howard Moore saw his potential and in response to a losing streak decided to put him in a game. He scored 10 points off the bench against Cleveland State University led by 2 time NBA Champion Norris Cole of the Miami Heat. Singh ultimately became a starter and one of the leading scorers on the team. He scored 17 points against the Horizon Leagues top team UW Milwaukee in his first career start. Dipanjot graduated and with one year of eligibility left took his talents to the University of Mass at Lowell (an NCAA Division II powerhouse), where he would lead them in to the NCAA tournament and work on his Post Grad Degree under head coach Greg Herenda. A's head coach David Magley couldn't be more excited about Singh, "Dipanjot came to a tryout in Indiana and really surprised us by how well he could shoot the ball and his overall 'feel for the game.' Like our first two signees (Evaldas and Jameson) he is not a 'position' he is a 'player' and as such can fill many roles on our roster." Magley was unaware of his story until after he was signed and then became even more enthused, "It is rare that superstars live up to expectations but for a young man to go from student manager, to practice player, to walk-on, and starter of a good NCAA Division I team is almost never heard of. He had a dream and simply would not quit until it was fulfilled. I am certain that playing professionally was something almost too far off to even think of, yet here he is. This type of character on a roster is invaluable and I am completely confident that he will have a positive impact on all around him." For his part, the humble Singh, puts it this way, "I'm blessed to play professional basketball with the Brampton A's franchise in my rookie year. I am thankful for Coach David Magley for finding me and giving me this opportunity. I am grateful to the owner James Tipping and everyone in the Brampton A's organization. My childhood dream was to play professional basketball and it has come true, and one day I plan to write a book about my journey. Maybe a NBL Canada Basketball Championship can be part of the story too. I am blessed and thankful for this opportunity." The Brampton A's will begin their inaugural season November 1st and will be playing their games in the Powerade Centre and will be competing in the NBL, Canada's only professional basketball league. The NBL is beginning its third full season and has teams in Windsor, London, Ottawa, Mississauga, Moncton, Halifax, PEI, and Saint John as well as Brampton. 20. True. I remember reading a very informative article in the Pakistani army magazine called defense journal some years ago. The author of the article mentioned exactly what you have said. He said in that in the Pakistani army they will always claim they have central Asian or Arab ancestry. But for those that cannot deny their indigenous Punjabi origins i.e. Jats, Rajputs and other castes will likely claim they have Sikh ancestry since Sikhs are viewed as being a martial people. But it is considered an absolute disgrace for a Muslim to claim Hindu ancestry because that is an admission that they are descendants of people who were forcibly converted to Islam while it is unheard of for a Sikh converting to Islam through force. That is what I mean by inferiority complex. They are ashamed of their true ancestry and will claim Martian ancestry if they could. Even those who claim central Asian or Arab descent are indirectly admitting that their foreign ancestor was a Muslim warrior who likely kidnapped or raped a Hindu slave woman who then got pregnant. That in my opinion is even more disgraceful. Not too long ago I was debating a Pakistani over the internet about this very issue. He claimed he was a Punjabi "Pathan". I asked what is a Punjabi Pathan? he said his ancestors were warriors who came to India and raped Hindu women. I replied so you are admitting you are a result of rape! when he realized how disgraceful that sounded, he then claimed Hindus freely gave their daughters in marriage to invading Muslims which we know is very unlikely. . A Sikh whether he is a descendant of a Hindu or Muslim or whatever will never be ashamed of his ancestry because they became Sikhs on their own free will.

  22. No Muslim wants to have Hindu ancestors. The ones who have money and are prosperous can claim to have Arab or Central Asian ancestors but the ones who are poor or whose Punjabi ancestry is beyond a doubt such as Jats and Rajputs they claim to have Sikh ancestors because having Hindu ancestors is seen as a big insult. Seeing the amount of Pakistani Muslims there are claiming Sikh ancestry then it would seem that the Sikhs in the 18th century must have been a Majority in Punjab!
