  3. Again we only become weak when we are weak in our Sikhi. If a Singh is strong in his Sikhi, keeps Amritvela, does Bhagti Tap and keeps Rehit while also joining the gym to get physically strong, it is others who will feel intimidated by us. During olden times 1 Singh was enough to intimidate many. No one wanted to take Panga with a Singh. Now our situation is such that we easily feel intimidated by others.

  4. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ke Fateh! _singh_ji The first thing you should first do is to accept what has happened and to learn from this incident. The second thing you should do is to place an Ardas in front of Satguru to ask forgiveness and to bless you with the strength to confront what you have done. The last thing you should then do is to call her and get everything out in the open. Now when you talk to her first you should apologise to her for what you have said and explain your side of the story to her with no emotion but only with the truth. You should also open up your ears and close your mouth when she speaks as she would have explain her side of the story. From the conversation you two have you should be able to both amend your ties (I.e just become friends or become her brother as you are meant to see her as your sister)

  5. There is not really you can do to fix the situation of Muslims in your city. If the Muslims try to do anything big in related to terrorism they are just digging themselves deeper hole in their trust with other people. If I were you in a situation like that I'd try to get involved in martial arts gatka.. etc so you can defend yourself or others and carry on your life unless it becomes a bigger problem than it already is.   6. Naam Simran is never a waste for anybody. It is for everyone but Naam must be obtained from Satguru i.e. you must take Amrit to receive Naam Gurmantar and learn the proper technique. Naam Simran brings all the benefits worldly and spiritual. But benefits remain in the hands of Vaheguru. No one can calculate using any equation to determine who would receive the most benefit. If you are not Amritdhari, your spiritual progress will be slow and take very long and you will not be successful in the end because without becoming Guru-wala, you cannot conquer five vices. A Sikh does everything under Hukam of Guru while a manmukh does everything according to his own will hence following manmat ways. Salvation and union with Vaheguru are not possible without Satguru. This is the principle of Gurbani. If one could become one with God without Satguru then Guru Sahib wouldnt have taken 240 years to establish a path and taken pains to consolidate and organize the Sikh community. Institutions such as Amrit Vela, Naam Simran, sangat, taking Amrit are all part of the same package. One cannot pick and choose. You can practice rehat and do simran because taking Amrit. These are still beneficial but if you are looking to make spiritual progress then take Amrit and you will get the full benefits. No religious work is ever a waste. Some benefits are received in form of worldly pleasures and wealth. But bhagti doesnt accumulate much in this way.

  9. Think the answer to the question is in Sri Anand Sahib ਨਾਮੁ ਿਜਨ ਕੈ ਮਿਨ ਵਿਸਆ ਵਾਜੇ ਸਬਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ॥ naam jin kai man vasi-aa vaajay sabad ghanayray. The divine melody of the Shabad vibrates for those, within whose minds the Naam abides. ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਚੇ ਸਾਿਹਬ ਿਕਆ ਨਾਹੀ ਘਿਰ ਤੇਰੈ ॥ kahai naanak sachay saahib ki-aa naahee ghar tayrai. ||3|| Says Nanak, O my True Lord and Master, what is there which is not in Your home? ||3|| ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰੋ ॥ saachaa naam mayraa aaDhaaro. It has brought peace and tranquility to my mind; it has fulfilled all my desires. ਸਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ਕੀਤਾ ਗੁਰ ੂ ਿਵਟਹ ੁ ਿਜਸ ਦੀਆ ਏਿਹ ਵਿਡਆਈਆ ॥ sadaa kurbaan keetaa guroo vitahu jis dee-aa ayhi vadi-aa-ee-aa. I am forever a sacrifice to the Guru, who possesses such glorious greatness. ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੁਣਹ ੁ ਸੰਤਹ ੁ ਸਬਿਦ ਧਰਹ ੁ ਿਪਆਰੋ ॥ kahai naanak sunhu santahu sabad Dharahu pi-aaro. Says Nanak, listen, O Saints; enshrine love for the Shabad. ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰੋ ॥੪॥ saachaa naam mayraa aaDhaaro. ||4|| The True Name is my only support. ||4|| ਵਾਜੇ ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਿਤਤੁ ਘਿਰ ਸਭਾਗੈ ॥ vaajay panch sabad ghar sabhaagai. The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, vibrate in that blessed house. ਘਿਰ ਸਭਾਗੈ ਸਬਦ ਵਾਜੇ ਕਲਾ ਿਜਤੁ ਘਿਰ ਧਾਰੀਆ ॥ ghar sabhaagai sabad vaajay kalaa jit ghar Dhaaree-aa. In that blessed house, the Shabad vibrates; He infuses His almighty power into it. ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਾਲੁ ਕੰਟਕੁ ਮਾਿਰਆ ॥ panch doot tuDh vas keetay kaal kantak maari-aa. Through You, we subdue the five demons of desire, and slay Death, the torturer. ਧੁਿਰ ਕਰਿਮ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਿਜਨ ਕਉ ਿਸ ਨਾਿਮ ਹਿਰ ਕੈ ਲਾਗੇ ॥ Dhur karam paa-i-aa tuDh jin ka-o se naam har kai laagay. Those who have such pre-ordained destiny are attached to the Lord's Name. ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਹ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਆ ਿਤਤੁ ਘਿਰ ਅਨਹਦ ਵਾਜੇ ॥੫॥ kahai naanak tah sukh ho-aa ghar anhad vaajay. ||5|| Says Nanak, they are at peace, and the unstruck sound current vibrates within their homes. ||5||

  10. In my opinion, they did go to the moon, of course they did, it is just too big to keep under wraps for 40 years, there were just too many people involved to fake it. However, it was more or a propoganda war and media driven thing and the last thing NASA wanted was for the guys to get back and find the camera film was all fogged up or the pictures were not framed properly - the Hassalblad cameras were fixed to the chest of the astronouts and were of fixed focus, all they did was just point and shoot and hope for the best - for this reason NASA may have staged some of the photos for PR purposes, so that they could frame the shots correctly and have them crystal clear in focus etc. so that they could hand them out to the media and get all the correct publicity, and it worked because the PR wa so good that it propelled the space program for years.
