  1. Waheguru Breaking: Namdhari Leader Wants to Join Khalsa Panth(DSU News Bureau) 3 June 2015- Namdhari leader Thakur Dalip Singh and his followers arrived at Hassanpur, Punjab to visit Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa and to express his willingness to join Khalsa Panth. Bapu Ji was arrested by police and taken to the hospital for force feeding. Although, Thakur Dalip Singh couldn’t meet with Bapu Ji but he met with Sangarsh committee leaders and expressed unity for the cause. It is important to point out that not all Sikh groups under the Akal Takht have come in support of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa nor have they visited him. Thakur Dalip Singh isn’t the head of the Namdhari community but an estimated 80% of Namdharis follow him. The important points towards unity were the following: 1) Namdhari Leader Thakur Dalip Singh has told his followers to use the word Guru while saying Guru Granth Sahib Ji as before his followers pronounced Aad Sri Granth Sahib. 2) They have agreed to use the Fateh greeting as before it wasn’t always used. 3) Majhbhi Sikhs have been given equal rights as before they ate langar separately and were treated unequally, but now those Majhbhi Sikhs that are Naamdhari will be treated equally according to Thakur Dalip Singh. 4) Thakur Dalip Singh has pledged to support Khalsa Raj and a separate Khalsa State. 5) Thakur Dalip Singh has organized a program in the past where Panthic groups were present. In that program, the theme was for unity of various Sikh groups for a common cause. Also, in that program the Dohara ‘Agia Bhaei Akal Ki’ was read and names of only the ten Sikh Gurus were said which has never happened before among the Naamdharis. Thakur Dalip Singh further pledged to join the Khalsa Panth and to follow it’s Rehats. The historic meeting for unity is being recognized as a turning point to achieve long avoided goals of the Panth. taken from: http://dailysikhupdates.com/breaking-namdhari-leader-wants-to-join-khalsa-panth/

  2. I truly hope that this news source is of reliable provenance, the Namdharis are one of the few groups who have maintained the puraatan tradition of Gurmat Sangeet and Tanti Saaz. Their assimilation into the Khalsa Panth would help this tradition to burgeon and flourish as it did in the old days.

  5. Sat yug / kal yug are not times or ages but the state of minde or actions of humans for example Forgetting Vaheguru ji, doing evil deeds etc that is kul yug. Remembering Vaheguru ji always, doing good deeds etc that is sat yug.

  6. The Jews did not have their country handed to them, the creation of Israel was preceded by over a hundred years of Jews taking active steps to migrate to the land from countries like Russia and from Eastern Europe. The Zionist movement created agencies that helped Jews to migrate and buy land from the Arabs. They also created pressure groups which canvassed support from the governments of various countries. In the end it came down to this canvassing that produced a majority vote from the UN in favour of partition of Palestine. Had the Jews lost the vote then that would have been the end of that project and the would have been an oppressed minority in a Palestine dominated by Arabs. In the case of Khalistan, the movement has a better prospect of success especially as things are now so bad in Punjab that only a diehard GOI chumcha would think that the Punjab is in a better position in India than as an independent state. In the 80s the issues were water right and Punjabi speaking areas. Apart from the farming community these issue would not have any resonnance with the non farming community. But the present situation, drugs, education and economy in stagnation, criminal dominated politics etc affects everyone in Punjab. What is required is a grass roots movement which unfortunately does not appear to be present in Punjab. The AAP election success in Punjab Lok Sabha elections shows that people want a change from the Akali/BJP and Congress mafia. It is for Panthic parties to unite and create the grass roots movement just as other parties in other countries such as the SNP in Scotland have done. The unfortunate thing is the alternative that the people of Punjab needed should have been provided by Panthic parties and not AAP. AAP just seized the chance that came up whilst the Panthic parties were too busy being divided and being made even more irrelevant than they were in the prior elections.

  7. The English guy's body language was overtly aggressive as he was squaring up. It was the calm before the inevitable storm. Is that not obvious from the video? He was winding up to take a swing at the Singh (or bundle him to the floor and ground 'n' pound him MMA style as he tried to do in the video yet the Singh managed to keep his footing and sidestepped it). Had Singh walked away after administering a couple of punches I can guarantee the other kid would've been up with a second wind, and tried to settle matters whilst his blood was still up. The General Zod dialogues were probably a bit unnecessary though, lol. A bit too Hollywood for my liking.

  10. I'm impressed with that brother he warned that bully a few times not to approach him and not to try anything but he still went for him and he got smashed.........This is how we should teach our young Sikhs to fight. Not to seek out trouble, not to be a thug who deserves a good beating anyways. But a decent guy who just gets on with his own thing but if trouble comes your way dont let the aggressor get away anything give him nothing and teach him a lesson that he wont forget. A Sikh male with turban is a vulnerable person already because they have long hair and easy target for bullys and anti-sikh attackers this is why guru ji gave us the kirpan and weapons to defend one self so now we living in the non-religious mad world of atheist west you cant really go around carrying weapons to defend your body so you must as a Sikh male learn the art of street fighting forget gatka and shaster vidya those are ancient martial arts useless for 21st century living. You need to learn urban street fighting and brawling. This young sikkh brother shows us a great example how to smash the bully. Had the Birmingham broard street Sikh guy had this kind of mentality he could have smashed the muslims face in and his cowardly hyena friends too though the sikh brother was out numbered by the dogs. In a hostile anti-sikh environment life teaches you to take no prisoners when a non-sikh trys to disturb your life. Forgive your sikh brother for transgressions but never a non-sikh if he threatens you....smash the aggressor until victory is for Sikhs only This is how you get respect in western society.

  12. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh First you need to relax. Theres many things in life that will try and stop you connecting to Waheguru. Theres a video about this check it out Your pretty lucky you can remember Waheguru in your dreams, Waheguru name is limitless that guy is just speaking rubbish. Guru Ji says in Jaap Sahib: inRbwD srUp hYN ] AgwiD hYN AnUp hYN ]127] None can stand in the way of God. God is very deep and none is equal to Him. Nribadh sarup hain. Agadh hain anup hain Kl KMf iKAwl ] gurbr Akwl ]167] God destroys mean enemies in an instant. God is most powerful and immortal. Khal khand khial. Gurbar akal Just do ardaas to Guru Ji, and carry on. It will take some time to get over it. With your financial problems, just dont give up keep trying. Just do benti to Guru Ji to help you. You can do the first solak of Sukhmani Sahib, and just imagine Guru Ji in all 4 directions. Do Rakheah Da Shabad and Kirtan Sohila before you sleep This sounds very dodgy, I would't let this guy come close to my sisters. Please forgive me if i said anything wrong or offensive. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  13. This thread is for video on Sikh politics. Though, this video is not on Sikh politics per say, but for youth it would be (I think) quite thought provoking. . . .

  15. Sikhs do not practice or try to attain the ability to tell the future. These are all lower energies of life which take a person away from the one true goal. This life is temporary. Trying to find out what will happen two years from now will not help. The end for this mortal body is the same for everyone; death. No one can escape it and no one has by using the unlimited amount of powers in this universe. Focus on what is happening now and are you focused on Akal Purakh.
