  2. I am kind of tired of female centred Asian female oppressed, evil male patriarch, forced arranged marriage, fall in love with non Asian person, sympathised by gay best friend storyline. But I guess it fits in with the lefty/liberal/luvvy agenda. I like to see something fresh from Asian writers without having to resort to same old clichés. Let's have a male centred story where the Asian male is being molly coddled by his manipulative conniving mother and being bullied by his man hating lesbian sister where he strives to regain his masculinity of which his cuckold beta male father is unable

  3. If you want try and envisage the feminist utopia, look no further than Korea and Japan. There was a concerted cultural rebellion against traditional masculine values after the second world war by women, who began to prefer so called 'herbivores' (gentle and cautious men), men who were the antithesis of all that had once been expected of Japanese manhood. They began to desire men who would place them on a pedestal, who used cosmetics, were weak and vulnerable and felt an affinity for the feminine. Young men conformed to the expectations of women, and this was the result - Women do

  4. No, he's implying that marriage isn't a relationship based on lust. There's sexual attraction and then there is lust which is obsessing over that. Edit: Again I don't know much about the Anad Karaj and I've never read it, still far to young to consider marriage but it's gender neutral from what I hear, it's the union of 2 souls. Surely since souls don't have genders that shouldn't be an issue? The whole point of Marriage for us as Sikhs is to have a partner to help us attain our final goal. sexual or even sexual practices shouldn't even fall in the same category as this. 2 people can be marr

  6. Exactly! That's what I've come to realise. Gurbani is the great emancipator. It frees the mind and lifts the veil that clouds our mind and our judgement. It's why I feel so negative towards Baba / Jatha culture, because I truly think Sikhs lack the emotional intelligence to adhere to something without it becoming dogmatic and divisive. Without knowing, we've placed more obstacles between us and Akal Purakh when we should be eliminating as many as we can. Why would you willingly wander down a longer path when the destination is within touching distance? People invest too much emotion and ef

  8. Sorry to go off mark but when it comes to groups like ISIS many Muslims tend to use the blame card and say 'they are trained by Mossad/CIA' or 'ISIS has nothing to do with Islam.' The truth is that ISIS is a home grown problem who draw their inspiration and precedent from the days of their Prophet and the Quran/Hadiths. Unfortunately many Muslims today will jump head over heals to protest about Palestine but stay silent in the face of mass atrocities by jihadists. David Cameron recently said that elements of the UK Muslim community need to stop silently condoning ISIS and more action need

Because the government needs these kind of attacks to justify their crackdowns which is why most of these attacks can be traced to governments hand via proxies who use the attacks to restrict human rights and freedoms and bring in non-democratic legislation. Those who crave police state powers are on the same said as the islamic nutjobs, they often pay the mullahs who train the jihadi's and carry out attacks on the behest of the people whose evil agenda they need furthering. I mean if the 1% own and control everything the 99% greatly out number them and could easily if united take everything from them. Look in modern day factories in the Uk and it is like the united nations with no one ethnic group being strong enough to challenge the management.

There are currently 215 countries part of FIBA and quality of players from other countries are growing while infrastructure is improving. Yes, basketball is huge in China, but if you look at Europe (especially Southern and Eastern European countries), you will see similar interest there as well. NBA finals and All-star game was broadcast live in 215 countries while streamed in 47 different languages.

So yes there are cases where women do the wrong thing but also we know so many stories of asian fathers kidnapping kids and taking them abroad , that is why the passport was changed so that no parent had their children on their adult one and application for visas for children have to be approved by both parents . Real reason for indifference on here because majority of posters are from UK. But since there's a huge Sikh population in North America and now this news been huge in India (where we got Indian celebrities sending out congrats to Satnam Singh), this is huge deal. Given Basketball/NBA is quickly growing in India, this means we will see more Indians (especially those from Punjab which is consider basketball hotbed in

I personally do not see it as a race issue, I was just trying to provide some context in how some Punjabi/Asian may see this. For me it is largely an intra - Asian issue in how particular Asian writers are pushed to the fore and they always have a particular theme that seems to be magnified by certain influential areas of the media. It is an insult to me and other Punjabis/Asians because it claims to be a victory for diversity and multiculturalism but who is it a really a victory for? The sad thing for me is it thi

  26. Not true. Darwinian evolution easily accounts for the existence of morality, without the presupposition of any godhead. Social cohesiveness was advantageous to our distant ancestors' survival, and therefore a distinguishing factor in natural selection. Social cohesion is after all only possible if the individuals who constitute a population are mindful of the well-being of those around them. Freemasonry is not atheistic either. The cult has a rule which explicitly states 'No Atheist may be made a Freemason'.

Gansta lifestyle is what people like to fantasise about, the feminist pro divorce agenda is simply about making money for the divorce industry, the whole divide and rule strategy of working environments is about making more cash for the business and shareholders. This freemason thing I'm not sure, I think they are viewed as the spooks in the cupboard and they have a lot less power than they used to. In fact I think people give them more credit than they are worth. Actually on the subject of Freemasonry

Most Muslims are seperaitst in nature they are taught by Quran and Hadiths to hate the kafir because their prophet muhammad and Allah tells them to. However in the hadiths their prophet muhammad also tells them there will be a group amoung them who will pray better than the muslim and do things to extremes that they will even kill muslims by declaring them as non-muslims. They will be known as the khawarij and these group of people will be the "dogs of hellfire". ISIS and other jihadi groups fit these type of mu

InderjitS Veer Ji obviously nangs and taksal can't stand women being in Panj Pyare but look at their track record. Sant Sin supporting Indira in 1984 and onwards. Nangs supporting the Hindu Mahants in the 1920's. DamDami Taksal campaigning for Indira Gandhi and Congress in the 1980 elections that led to her gaining power. But AKJ, Missionaries + Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale give full equality to women just like Guru Sahib always have.

The old video of Sant Ji objecting is from a time when DamDami Taksal supported Indira Gandhi and Congress in the 1980 elections that helped Indira Gandhi gain power in India and set in chain the events that enabled her to begin Genocide against Sikhs. Whilst nobody is denying that some women have it tough (to put it lightly) at the hands of some men who lack certain principles and common sense, feminism serves to tar every man with the same brush unless he yields to its inflexible ideals. Under the guise of liberalism and progressiveness, the very notion of masculinity is under attack; it's called misandry and it's a very real and current problem facing men worldwide, particularly those in the west. Whilst nobody is defending the deadbeat fathers or the male equivalent of the "cheap and easy" for whom life is one big joke and women are mer
