  1. The best things ever invented in the entire history of mankind for a Sikh are Kacherrays, Kanga, Kirpayn, Karra and Dastaar. Please, don't change anything, leave our Kakkaars as they are. They are precious gifts to us from our Guru Sahiban, so treasure them. Guard them with your life.

  2. Guru Granth Sahib Jee is direct from Guru Sahib and has spoken against meat. Historians are not above Guru Sahib and most likely twist things to suit their weak and evil needs.

  4. This is for everyone who wants a challenging workout. Basically the workout is simple in the sense of what you need to complete it. Find a track or a soccer field or even a basketball court. Easiest will be a track of 400 meters. The workout involves splitting up the running portion into 100 meters or 200 meters sprints. Even a 100 meter stretch can work, but its harder to keep count of how many sets you have completed. Many of you may have heard of this workout or even have done it. So your input on how to make it more challenging or how to help beginners is appreciated. The workout is: Run 100 meters at sprint speed and stop. Immediately do burpees (everyone will be at their own level, so figure out how many you can do without running and do half in the interval circuit. Say for example I do 5 burpees). Once you have completed your burpees. Get back up and run again for 100 meters at sprint speed, stop and do another set of burpees. Keep the circuit going till you can't go anymore...gas tank is empty. Before you start make sure to stretch the whole body. Burpees done without stretching will cause major abdominal pain for the next few days and even leg pains and upper torso around the chest area. Also finish the workout with a cool down. Which can be walking till your heart comes to resting rate or jog and make sure to stretch at the end. I'm add a link of how to do a burpee for the beginners and those who feel uneasy of how to perform one. Others perform the burpee in a different way, which can be easier or harder. But I have found this way is the best for a total body exercise. http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/burpee The jump at the end can be changed to make it more difficult or taken out to make it easy. There is no right or wrong unless your form is not correct, which can cause more pains later on. Have fun with it and don't over exert yourself. Build up to a goal. Anyone who wants to post their workouts is encouraged to do so as this may motivate others to get up and try it. At the end you may be ready to faint, but you will look back and be impressed at your progress of cardio, overall fitness and health.

  6. @Akalifauj I'm well aware of plants being alive, just as many other things are that we cannot see with the human eye. But Gurbani has highly disapproved of meat consumption and even likened those that eat meat to a goblin and beast. To one day say you do not eat meat, but then another eat meat purely for the act of survival shows a weakness as one could not abide by Guru sahib's words.

  7. As Singhni Miri Piri has stated, it shows weakness in Sikhi if Guru Sahib believed that. Guru Sahib has shown numerous times in his life that sikhi doesn't hold a place for weak human insticts and survival. In JKVLondon's example, I would accept death by starvation happily knowing I had no access to vegetation. No Sikh should be afraid of death. All your claims about Guru Sahib allowing meat is false. All these stories are made up. A "Sikh" who kills an animal is no Gursikh but just a person dressed up as a Sikh. This type of person will be punished in the afterlife for harming animals without doubt.

  8. Sarbloh bibek is more to do with spiritual health than worldly health. That is the reason why one has to do swas swas simran while making their food which is absorbed into sarbloh. Same happens with our kirpan and kara. Sarbloh is your shield. ^ This goes against Guru Granth Sahib Jee, which is Guru Sahib’s word. So most likely, what the historians have made sikhs to believe, is false. But if what you say is true (which I do not believe to be), this would show a weakness in sikhi. And also show sikhs in our history had normal attributes of a human because they fell prey to their weak instincts. A real sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Jee has the guns of Vaheguru or would at least practice the guns of Vaheguru. Killing another innocent being is an act of tyranny and is actually the same as muslims. Innocent animals are not asking for liberation but these Sikhs feel that they need to force and kill them to liberate them. This is the same motive behind a muslim when they murder non-believers.

  10. Adding to the above you need to understand the word Dharam. The title of the video is incorrect. In reality there is no “Sikh” Dharam, “Hindu” Dharam, “Jain” Dharam, and “Buddhist” Dharam. We say it when we’re doing Veechar but technically it’s wrong. There is only one Dharam but many paths/panths under the banner of Dharam all with merits and demerits except for Sikhi. Sikhi is flawless. This is why we say Sikhi is Nyara Panth. All these other paths/panths have their own idea what Dharam is, many could be similar and many are vastly different but Sikhi is the one which Vaheguru indeed desires. I should add, in my book Christianity, Islam and all the rest of them do NOT come under the banner of Dharam. They are all Adharam. Others may hold differrent views.

  11. I completed 4 sets in a full workout session. 1 set for me was Run 50 meters 5 burpees run another 50 meters and another 5 burpees. This was one set. Rest for 45 sec to a minute and do another set. Incorporate it into your workout. Works even better.
