Yes, but plants don't walk on all fours to move from one location to another like animals do. Plants have to be pulled out from the ground to a different location. Sometimes, they don't thrive in their new environment due to unsuitable soil conditions sadly enough. On the other hand, animals can be transported from one place to another whether dead or alive, they will thrive anywhere if fed properly (a bit like yourself). Even Bernard shaw was a strict vegetarian, never killed a fly in his entire life. You all need spiritual counselling. Judging from your post, you don't seem to have any beliefs, values or morals, forget about Sikhi. You seem like someone who visits Masts and their babeys in green clothes who tie threads around their wrists for protection from evil spirits and so on. People like you are deeply steeped in superstition and silly activities which consist of mumbo-jumbo rituals, dance, alcohol and meat consumption on daily basis.

Sikh Sangat from Punjab (India) living abroad should make regular visits to Punjab. This way they stay in touch with Sikh culture. Visit the Gurdware and see Sikh heritage. There’s 5 Takhats to see. Also a chance to speak in Punjabi with everybody. I have been 7 times myself and love it.

Yep some people treat langar hall like a soup kitchen. If they just served Dal That would deter people who think Gurdwara is some kind of canteen for free food. Also langar should be plain. Not fancy. Ie so many dishes and sweets. Ect. One improvement I have seen is we now have a leaflets area in Gurdwaras for people to learn.

I don't know who this Baba is, but I do agree that simple langars are better.

according to Guru ji yes we become patit i.e. non-sikh listening to , then living in Guru's hukham is the first message of Japji Sahib after Mool Mantar. the Patka is not a dastar it is just one step from rumal on jooda as it has no lads no sikh wore patkey before the eighties, and no rumal before the seventies. It is pure backsliding of parents

Why you so bothered? I don't understand why you are more bothered about how the Gurus look rather than what they teach.
