  1. Not sure how accurate it is but its a interesting read. Joodas were historically kept by Rishis, and the Kshatriya caste the warrior caste. But with Rishis later becoming pandits and adopting bhaman customs the jooda tradition disappeared. Difference is Rishis meditated and did a lot of tapasiya they matted their hair, while the Kshatriyas kept long kesh and didnt matt their kesh. The matted kesh were a representation of detachment from the world i guess while for the Kshatriya his kesh was a symbol of warriors and royalty. A Sikh is supposed to have the patience, meditation and detachment of a Rishi and the wordy knowledge, bravery and skills of a Kshatriya. But rather than matting our hair like a Rishi, Guru sahib told us to keep it clean. I guess the matted hair symbolized the recluse hermit life of a Rishi while Guru Ji didn't want us to opt for that lifestyle but to remain within ? .... Some really interesting pictures of ancient sculptures as well in the article. Emperor Ashoka had a jooda too though they never depict this in the tv serials etc https://kulveersamra.wordpress.com/2016/09/14/ancient-references-of-the-sikh-jooda/

  2. That is a very old Abrahamic game. When they are a small minority they always act meek and with nimrata by turning the other cheek. But once they start gaining numbers their Nimrata is the first to go away. In Korea Christians are very aggressive against the Buddhists. They don't even hide their hatred anymore. In Punjab we are now starting to see the beginnings of their ugly side too where they start to riot as they did in Batala a few years ago. Recently o ne of their preachers very disrespectfully spoke against the Gurus. When a Nihang Singh replied using the same language against Jesus they got him arrested by the Punjab police. They don't target Hindus because they know there will be retaliation by Shiv Sena and other Hindu outfits. But they target Sikhs for conversions because they know Sikhs will not retaliate since all our focus is to oppose Hindus and ignore all the other hostile enemies of our Panth.

  3. Tackle on one Abrahamic at a time. For a Sikh in Punjab, the Evangelical menace is greater. Let Hindutva forces take out the Christian Fundamentalists.

  9. Sri Gurpratap Suraj Parkash Granth is a masterpiece in its own right. It is important to note that some accounts in it do not conform to the teachings of SSGS. When Kavi Santokh Singh did katha of ten Patshahi’s, he had helpers who helped to put this katha in to written form. It is important to note that some of these helpers were Devi worshippers. So, they would’ve tried to make Guru Ji look like a Devi worshipper. There were some people who took opium, and so told Santokh Singh that Guru Ji did too. This was the best way to cover their own shortcomings...by associating Guru Ji with it!!! A man named Sahib Singh was bribed by the British to claim that Raag Mala was not Gurbani. Sahib Singh told Santokh Singh to say that Raag Mala was not Gurbani. But reading this Granth, it is clear that Santokh Singh states that this is what he was told! I am not telling you what or not what to believe, but whenever you listen to parchar from anyone, please first look in to whose payroll or agenda they are on!!! New parcharaks are paid vast amounts of money to break the Khalsa spirit!!!

  10. Just because Guru Ji isn’t doing things, the way we want, doesn’t mean that he’s not listening. Guru Ji’s wisdom and love, is beyond our comprehension. If you have asked Guru Ji for something, then just have faith, and see what develops...
