Gobind gita is present in puratan dasam granth saroop at Patna Sahib. It is also present in some other old dasam granth birs. kahn Singh nabha says it's written by court poet Krishanlal. nihangs believe it to Guru Gobind Singh jee's rachna. According to Gurwinder Singh nangli, there is a tukk in sarbloh granth ji "teekakar hu mahima bhagtan, khalse prat hai bhakhee" which is a mention of Gobind Gita. Nangli ji will explain about it in detail in his katha soon.

Didn't realise Sant Ji's older brother was still alive until nov 2019 last year. Another fact i didnt know until recently was that one of his brothers (Captain harcharan singh rode) was a serving member of the indian army as a captain and in june 1984 was even called to identify the body of his younger brother (sant bhindranwale) before his body was taken for cremation and last rites were performed.

There ideally shouldn't be, but here's a few I've seen: In JapJi Sahib, the tuk of the first pauri that begins "chupai chup...", the papa in "chup" has a sihaari in the Taksaal gutkaa (which is correct), the Budhaa Dal (and others) one does not. Budhaa Dal Chaupai and Rehraas is longer. The rakhiyaa de shabad are longer too in the Budhaa Dal gutka. The Budhaa Dal (and other Gutkas) have in general way more spelling mistakes than the Taksaal one. In terms of other Gutkas, sometimes the mangals of the Baanis are different, especially in sawaiyaa and chaupai Sahib. The Budhaa Dal gutka contains way more baani than any others. I've even seen one Gutkaa app that puts the mangal before the sirlekh i.e. rather than "Ramkali Mahalaa 3 Anand Ik Oankaar Satgurprasaad", it says "Ik Oankaar Satgurprasaad Ramkali Mahalaa 3 Anand", which is a clear beadbi. Please avoid such apps and report where you can. That's all I can think of at the moment...

Just for the general information, Bhai Jasbir rode and bhai haracharan singh = step brothers of sant ji. Sant ji and his sister were from one mother who passed away and their dad baba joginder singh re-married.

As far as I know. The difference is which banis are included. The buddha dal gutka contians more dasam bani. And prevalent sayings like shalok damale da and brahm kavach. Which may or may not be dasam bani.

The Panthic minded Sikhs have always missed the opportunity to become a third force in Punjab. Simranjeet Singh Mann had a chance in 1991 but one section of the Kharkoos killed many candidates and the Punjab election was cancelled otherwise Mann would have become CM of Punjab and Punjab history would have been very different. Mann was still relevant even in 1997 when he won his Lok Sabha seat in Sangrur but since then he has lost a lot of credibility .The Dal Khalsa types are no better. They think that just making a few statements is enough for people to support them but they do virtually no grass roots work. If they want to become a third force, they need to catch the Sikh generation that are in the schools, colleges and universities. It is their votes in a few years that will determine who rules Punjab. The votes for a Panthic agenda party are there but the leaders lack credibility. AAP got their votes in 2014 from Panthic Sikhs and not from Hindus. AAP shows that the people of Punjab want a change but AAP lost the opportunity because they allowed Kejriwal to run the Punjab unit as if it was his own personal property. If the AAP leaders in Punjab had stood their ground and formed a AAP- Punjab as a separate party just as their are many Akali Dals then they could have won the 2017 elections.

There is room for a new Sikh pro-india party to emerge. Akali dal is tainted as being badal dal and badal sena now it is more interested in funding the badal family dynasty and punjabiyat than safeguard the lives and interests of the Sikh minority within india and the world. The Sikhs have so far been either putting their votes for 2 political parties generally akali dal/bjp and congress (but grudgingly). Hardly anyone votes for khalistan separatist lame duck spent force simranjit mann because his ego is sky high and his policies are non workable.

Yes there are masks available but the British govt idiots messed up the PPE procurement and went with masks that are not suitable for full beards.

He has actually made it more difficult for Sikh doctors now to refuse to shave during this pandemic because if they refuse then they will be made out to be extremists. They will find themselves being asked that if the doctor in Canada could shave then why can' t they. Respect to the doctor who refused, Singhs gave their heads rather than disrespect their hair and just because the haramzada Tories couldn't be bothered to get the correct PPE masks why should Sikh doctors have to shave their beards.
