There is charity Educate Punjab which does good seva Punjab for Sikhi children.. we have donated to them. You sponsor a child, of your choice and it'll go to their education. They have 100% donation policy. You can donate monthly £20 or even less or yearly. Definitely check it out. Can only take care future if we invest education for the kids, esp those living in poverty and see changes in Punjab. I remember watch yt documentary a while ago, and the Indian government has provided some sort compensation to the 84 widows..in Delhi, and they were saying how the kids because being fatherless are hooked to drugs alcohol with bleak future, some of them were 12 year old with jooras smoking! . So sad we have failed to look after take care them esp the children. True, this is how conspiracy theories start. Why would a Muslim want to attack a Gurdwara when Sikhs have been helping Kashmiris against India? This leaves either that he was insane or because of his religious teachings he acted on them knowing that if he managed to get away with it then Sikhs would doubt that it was a Muslim who did it because that would be so counterproductive to the Kashmiri cause. This allows Muslims to attack Sikhs and Gurdwaras with impunity as they know doubts can be cast as to whether they really did the attack.

I got an idea. Why don't we start an "adopt a bibi" programme. We take in a 1984 widow like a mother or grandmother and each family in diaspora supports her and her family. We can help them with their home and help them directly with things and education for their family. Here's another idea: There are some successful Khalsa Schools in Canada and the UK. Why can't these academies be expanded into Punjab to provide high quality education with a Sikh ethos.

If only more Sikhs had this attitude

Sikh schools are gd tho theres a few Sikh kids on my road that go to the local khalsa school and they have started keeping their joode etc my sister used to know a punjabi woman (whose boy friend was a polish) that was a teacher at the local primary school and she left the school, and she told my sister that the way they teach the kids at that school is as if they are "training an army" which for sjw is not good but for the rest of us its a gd thing! not saying sikh schools are perfect but they still are gd

Yh that's a gd idea. My sister been sending money to a girl from a slum in Varanasi and she writes letters back giving updates in her life etc If a family start sending money to a Bibi it could really help.
