  2. The government of Pakistan which in reality is the army and ISI does not support what these lunatics are doing. But surprisingly the Muslims that are after this sight are not Wahhabi type Muslims who we generally associate everything bad with Islam. They are Barelvis aka Sufis. Not all Sufis are the same. These guys are Chistis. On the surface they seem very peaceful but in reality they have a very dark past. Their great leader who they venerate, Khwaja Moinudin Chisti who was located in Ajmer India hated Hindus and is the one who invited Muhammad Ghauri to invade India and destroy Chauhan Rajput rule which forever changed the course of Indian history. Then we have the Naqshbandi Sufis who are the worst of them all. It was the Naqshbandi leader Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindi who instigated the Mughals to make Guru Arjun Dev ji Shaheed and start targeting the Sikhs for persecution since many Muslims were becoming Sikhs. Only the Qadiri Sufis are the good ones. They were on friendly terms with the Sikhs. Their Sheikh, Sain Mian Mir Ji was close to Guru ji and he tried to prevent the Shaheedi of Guru ji. To this day Sikhs respectfully remember this great saint.

  6. The fact that you as a Muslim spend your time on a Sikh forum EVERYDAY is all the answers I personally need bro. Please don't be speaking about women... You talk a lot, but we all know the relationship of Islam and women. I could speak about Muhammad, I could speak about the various different Hadiths that show his actions. But why would I wanna do that? What's the point? Why not spend time to make yourself into a better person. Do something productive because you clearly have nothing else going for yourself. It's pretty evident. Your lack of research is really showing. Unlike you, we don't need to prove our dharam to no one. That's what all you Abrahamic religions don't understand. You got Muslims trying to make the Quran into a science textbook, when in reality it's constantly getting challenged by various academics. I mean look at Yasir Qadhi. Already questions regarding the preservation of the Quran saying the narrative has holes in it. But that's a whole different topic that your Ummah should discuss. Arguing gets you literally nowhere, essentially wasting time on earth when you could spend that time helping the various struggling Muslim communities across the world right now. The same time you could spend connecting to god. Think about the culture within India before the Gurus arrived. Yeah, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj could have done all that. Unlike Islam, Sikhi is WAY deeper. In every level. Only people in Islam who kinda got it right are the Sufis. Yet, you people belittle them. The Gurus LEAD by example. They offered a blueprint to their Sikhs on how to actually experience god. However, it was hukam. The command of Akal Purakh that there would be 10 Gurus, yet the message remained the same and flowed through each Guru. Closed minded Abrahamics cannot understand Dharamic thinking. We don't wish for women and wine in some afterlife. We want to merge back into Akal Purakh. While the West was rich with materialistic things the Indian subcontinent was rich in spirituality. Always has been. This is where it originated from. You think Waheguru is an Indian supremacist? Just because the Gurus were born in the Indian subcontinent? Where was the identity of Indian at during that time period? Let's apply that thinking towards Islam shall we? I believe the whole religion of Islam is an Arab supremacist religion. The Arabs spread their religion onto other countries. You adopted Arabic words that were around WAY before Islam, such as the word Allah. Adopted Arab clothing, read Arabic scriptures, speak Arabic, pray towards an Arab shrine located in Saudi Arabia which was originally a center for the various Arab pagan gods. Islam is an ARAB religion. Why? Because it was established in ARABIA. IT HAD TO START SOMEWHERE. And yet do Arabs consider Pakistanis or anyone else as their equals? The answer is no. That's pretty evident. I grew up Arabs and you should hear the things they say about Pakistanis, Afghans and anyone else who isn't Arab. Most of these guys are really interested in Sikhi. It's you non Arabs who have an inferiority complex towards them.

  7. Up until the 1950s Sachkhand Sri HariMandir Sahib was open. There were many walkways and bunge around it. In the 1950s SGPC decided to wall off Sachkhand Sri HariMandir Sahib and enclose it. This most likely was what ended that particular walkway from Kaulsar to Amrit Sarovar. PS I went for darshan of Sri Atal Rai Gurdwara when we went to Darbar Sahib 2 years ago. It was only then I "discovered" where Kaulsar was, and then went there. It is really tucked away. Even my mom wasn't aware of it. For most people, its ishnaan, darshan of Sachkhand Sri HariMandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht SAhib and then home.

  10. @MuslimNeighbour - in many threads you have been answered again and again, but you continue to derail the topics each and every time. Now, in all fairness, that's not entirely your fault, we all do it. And i agree with you, that this is a Sikh forum, and your questions about Sikhi should be answered here without you being personally berated. 100% agree with you on that. So, here's what I propose: YOU pick the question, YOU pick the topic, YOU start the thread. And, without descending in to any personal attacks, we will collectively answer them for you. You can't get much fairer than that. You've now been given this opportunity. Never again in the future say you weren't given a chance. Look forward to your response... And to the rest of the sangat ji, please try and keep it civil and stick to the point. It's such a playground debate tactic when this guy goes off point and we take the bait, then acts like he's being attacked by everyone. Intellectual points made with proof will put this "guest" to sleep ?

  12. See, what I find very interesting is that you haven't answered a single point of the thread you are quoting, and you're just making outlandish claims, all of which have been refuted multiple times, in this thread and others. If you are so sure about your religion, then let's have that debate. You previously attacked the authenticity of the Bible, to which I openly asked if you'd like to discuss the authenticity of the Quran. Unsurprisingly, you haven't even responded to that, and you're just taking unnecessary digs. It's okay, i get it. I guess I'd be scared too if I didn't have a leg to stand on, especially when "the standard narrative has holes in it" (if you know, you know?). Looking forward to hearing from you very soon...

  14. Prophets don't have to be made. Anyone can prophesize. Fun fact : The Simpsons have made many prophesies in their cartoons from many years ago which have turned out to happen in reality. It's not a cop out... No, Waheguru selected a man, who turned out not to be competent. This doesn't mean that there are any deficiences with Waheguru. Gurbani states that only Waheguru and Guru are perfect. All others have faults. The "others" include the Prohets of Islam. Why would Allah SWT create man, and then tell him he needs to be circumcised in order to to be accepted? Surely Allah, the best of planners could have created man without a foreskin, if this form was more pleasing to him? ...now this IS a cop out. You asked bold as brass about the capability of Sikhs in terms of strength in the world today. I gave you an answer for it. And asked you the same question. Now you are whining "that you have better things to do..." Forums are not here for people to receive answers only. They are also to give answers. But I suppose thats typical of our circumcised neighbours. They are told to do, not to think for themselves.

  18. Howdy neighbour! A prophet is one who prophesies, thats all. A Guru is different. Waheguru is not error-prone, but Dasam Granth tells us that the erroneous one was the Prophet. Sikhs do not beleive in Satan the way you do, ie living in your left hand, ready to jump on your prayer mat unless you fold the prayer mat after your prayer type of Satan. We beleieve that no-one has the power to stand upto Waheguru, not you, your Satan or anyone else. Well you would be in company then my neighbour. I asked you a question many days ago on the sophia mosque topic and you haven't been able to muster a response. You have been made a fool by us half-competents. Now how does that make you feel?

  24. Dasam Granth states that Mohammed was one of many who deviated from what God wanted them to do and created a religion where his followers chant his name rather rather than God. Although Muslims will dispute this but essentially this is true as Muslims will take any criticism of Allah but not one against Mohammed. Muslims pride themsleves in stating that they love Mohammed more than they love their parents. Islam is described as the religon of demons (Rakshas) in Parchian Sewa Das where a sakhi is given where the Sikhs ask Guru Gobind Singh why the Gurus teachings do not allow Sikhs to rape captured women of the enemy as the Muslims do to captured enemy women. The Gurus says that the Panth is build on a higher moral plain than Islam and that Islam is the religion of demons. Given what ISIS have done in Syria and Iraq then you have to accept that there is a demonic aspect to Islam.

  26. I think the flare up was to teach India a lesson just as the Chinese did in 1962. Modi's action in Kashmir as well as stating that he will take back Pakistani Kashmir was bound to either cause a flare up with Pakistan or with China. China occupied Aksai Chin which was a part of Ladakh and which China took in 1962. Modi's sabre rattling bought this flare up and now he has to either put up or shut up. China holds all the cards, their military is better trained and better motivated than any of the bhaiyas India can send against them. China will win any border war and Modi knows this. Taiwan, Japan, Phillipines and Australia won't do anything apart from give statements of support to India. Trump is in the pocket of the Wall St globalists who make billions out of China so although he may make noises against China he knows that he needs Wall St to win him the next election. He also knows that his core followers do not want any foreign wars so he will just put sanctions on China and sell some outdated weapons to India but little else. India will be all alone if there is a border war and there is no doubt that if there is a border war, Pakistan will ramp up shelling in Jammu and send more terrorists into Kashmir.

  29. There has been a trend of shows from Amazon prime and Netflix showing religious Hindus and Hinduism in bad light while showing Muslims very positively. The only Hindu they show positively is a non religious leftist Hindu. While this is going on they have now also attacked Sikhs by showing Amritdhari Sikhs and Sikhism negatively. They are just testing the waters with the Sikhs now. If Sikhs don't react they will probably go further next time. Manjinder Singh Sirsa is the only one who made any noise about showing Amritdhari Sikh as a rapist. The directors and writers of these shows are usually leftist Hindus or Muslims. These leftist Hindus are just as hateful towards Sikhs as Arya Samajis. When Sri Darbar Sahib was to be attacked these leftist Hindus celebrated this attack just as much as right wing Hindus. Leftist liberal Hindus like Shekhar Gupta display their genocidal pulse when they praise KPS Gill and Brar and their genocidal tactics. When it comes down to it, Hindus whether libral or religious one is no friend of the Sikhs.

  31. Gurfateh ! Last weekend I went to Elveden - the country estate once owned by Maharajah Duleep Singh - It is a tradition in our house that all visiting relatives get a tour of London and Cambridge (including Elveden) - it is probably the reason why I have such an interest in Punjabi History, Museums, paintings and the like (Thanks Dad !). I have always wanted to see the interior of Elveden Hall - the closest I have ever got is looking through the windows and the gardens (as you know Punjabis never take any notice of 'Private Property' 'No Entry' and 'enter at own risk' signs !) Here are a collection of Photographs that show Elveden Hall as it was when Duleep Singh bought it , his renovations and the later additions. The photographs also show the famous paintings that hung in Elveden Hall - a constant reminder of more grander times and past glories. The Maharajah bought Elveden Hall ( located in Suffolk near Thetford) in 1864 - for £105,000 - the money raised by a loan from the India Office at 4 percent interest. It was a sprawling sporting estate of some 17 thousand acres -it rivalled nearby Sandringham (The Queens estate) as one of the best places to hunt and shoot - Duleep Singh was rated fourth best shot in Britain. The original building was quite plain - Duleep Singh practically rebuilt it in Italian Renaissance style - but the inside was based on the Mughal Style of the Lahore Fort. The Drawing room was styled after the Shish Mahal - the Hall and main rooms decorated with Indo Persian / Mughal arches and pilasters. The famous Dussehra painting of Ranjit Singh's Darbar hung in the Hall and a copy of Winterhalter's portrait of Duleep Singh in the Dining Room. Elveden was sold by Duleep Singh's trustees after his death in 1894 for £159,000 to the Lord of Iveagh - the Guinness Family (yes - as in the 'Black Stuff') they still own the estate. **Black and White photographs from The Collection of the Thetford Library. 32. That's correct. Just like the 125,000 prophets of Allah SWT were all male. But I will ask you again, since you brought it up: Women can do kirtan, katha, dhadi waran, paath and ardas in sangat. Just like men. Women are allowed to become members of the Gurdwara Management System. In your mosque women have to pray behind a screen. Are women allowed to read prayers for the muslim sangat in the mosque? Are women allowed to run Mosques? I've never seen or heard of 1 female Qazi, Mullah, Mufti or Imam. Why? Maybe this time you will have the decency to answer? This just shows how little you know of Panjabi culture. If a woman was in such a marriage, her brothers and father would just bring her back home and then get her remarried to a better match. Simply by taking her out of the married home, the marriage would be annulled. But I have never heard of any such occurences. Women doted on their husbands and Guru Sahib has aslo instructed Sikh men never to neglect their spouses, and always take their counsel. Divorce was only recommended by Allah, the best of planners, because he knew how much Prophet Mohammad PBUH pined to bone Zaid's wife. His daughter-in-law. So then the surah was revealed and there was one happy Prophet. The prime example of man. I am. Ask me anything, but be prepared to field some questions yourself. Well me dear neighbour, I have to say the same about you. You have made several posts yet failed to answer the question on the sophia mosque topic for around 10 days.

I reckon we should do an international campaign blitz of the Sakhi of Bhai Taru Singh ji and the REAL reason he was punished he rescued a poor muslim's daughter from the local official's clutches when nobody else would help him . Hopefully, the sharam of destroying the sanctity of this memorial place of this true gursikh will cause the pak government and locals to back down and actually respect it as a full gurdwara.

  35. Do what you want, be a good soul. Mai Bhago didn’t care, she rode off to battle and lead a group of men with her. As a girl she was free and did what she wanted. Your gender doesn’t dictate the level of freedom you have, but it’s your choice. Perhaps remember that we come alone and leave alone. Most people will experience the pain of losing someone they loved or once loved. Those who are fortunate in this Janam would have recognized that fact that All is Truth/ God, you’re a part of Him so have faith. It will take you time to get over the separation of your husband but you can move forward with your own life and be happy. Take care of yourself and give yourself time to heal if you need to.

  36. Show me the logic in beleiving in "God". Only to those who start with no knowledge at all. Guru Nanak showed you lot at Mecca the path to truth after he performed that miracle. Why couldn't your best scholars then convince Guru Nanak that Islam was the truth?
    -1 points
  37. Not foot. Feet. Mecca moved to wherever the Qazi moved Guru Sahib's feet. Haven't heard that one. Will look into it. My dear neighbour, who would need a counter argument when the best scholars of Islam never had an argument in the first place? That is MY fault. It is the fault of EVERY Sikh on this forum, in the street you live in, in the cities they inhabit and the countries they reside in. Guru Nanak gave us (and you) the message, yet because of our (sikh) weaknesses we have not be able to take them to a level or audience they deserve. Yes for many reasons. One is that the sword is never to attack to but to defend. This mentality had to be drummed into Sikhs first. But you didn't get your degree with your nursery teacher when you were 3 or 4 years old did you? You went to different schools, had many teachers for 18 odd years before you were rewarded with your degree. That is the same with Gurmat. The birth and strengthening of Gurmat could not be confined to one man's lifetime. But I could aslo ask you, why the best of planners, Allah needed to send 124,999 prophets before he send the best one. Before he, the best of planners after thousands of years sent the "perfect example of man" to guide others. Why not just have this perfect example as the first and only ? Surely that would have been the best of planning yes?
