  1. These spirit boxes are said to shift into different frequencies, a frequency at which spirits reside in, then again, the video is probably fake as someone made a similar video of sushant Singh rajputs spirit talking through a spirit box, however, it was debunked by this YouTuber who showed how easy it was to clone a voice and add effects. 2. I have noticed quite a few nihang Singhs seem to wear a ring on the finger. Mostly seems to be sarbloh. What is the significance of wearing this?

  3. When I saw my sons were approaching the age of physical maturity I considered it my duty to ensure that they did not fall for the users and abusers of the kalyugi world , just as I will do for my daughter . All of them will be cautioned against the different soch of other cultures as compared to gurmat . If I tell them vaguely about stuff then they will get stuck when girls will approach them or other guys try to influence them to act in an antigurmat manner and are more likely to believe their peers rather than their folks . Guru Gobind Singh ji is speaking plainly about the true crassness of human behaviour in absence of gurmat , the main story is about a dirty old man King who marries someone his son's age because of lust, greed and ahankar, the infidelity of the woman's mind because she is forced to marry such an old man and her murderous intent because of her anger at her ego being hurt by a virtuous son's refusal. All players barring the son and the minister are corrupted... The minister is wise because he can see the truth of the situation and is trying to change the mind of the King through cautionary tales . Dasam Granth banian were complete BEFORE Khalsa Sajna diwas so do not be in doubt about authenicity , also Guru Tej Bahadur ji had given advice to a pre-ten year old Gobind Rai on kaam also , this kind of victorian prudishness is not part of sikhi , we see the reality and learn to live in our world following our path..

  4. There is your first mistake. You have read the translation and RELIED on them to be 100% accurate. Because of your wholesale reliance on somebody else's opinion you are now doubting a scripture of great standing in the Sikh Panth. What do you think is the way to correct this? Pritpal SIngh Bindra has done these translations but they are at times wildly inaccurate. I have read these and was confused by it as well. I thought I should actually do my own research into the charitars. I soon realised that Bindra, as a known opponent of Sri Dasme Patshah's Granth would have an axe to grind. I feel sorry for anyone who has read bindras book book. It is nothing but misinformation. Anyone who understands the missionaries can understand why they clutch to it. "Everyone" ? When did you take this survey and question all ALL the members of the Sikh Panth? Global sikh studies is a missonary outfit and they have been giving out misinformation on Sri Dasme Patshah's Granth for some years now. They do not understand the granth I believe. Here I disagree with you. It's not pornographic. Pornography is intended to sexually stimulate the mind and body. Sri CharitroPakhyan granth absolutely does nothing of the kind. (2nd bolded) - I beleive that you have not read all the charitars in detail if you claim this. Who says they are? Sri CharitroPakhyan Granth certainly doesn't make any such claims. @GavinSingh here are two links which you should read for your further understanding: http://www.sikhawareness.com/topic/17474-sri-charitropakhyan-sahib-jee-series-charitar-3/ this above link will make the charitar more clear. bindra has only given a weak translation of it. He has not analysed any charitar. This is what the above link attempts to do. You are welcome to give your opinions there. http://www.sikhawareness.com/forum/48-sri-dasam-granth-sahib/ In this above link, we have been looking at Sri CharitroPakhyan Granth in greater detail. Try reading some of the topic in the above link and see if you can discard the english translations, like others participants and myself did some years ago.

  5. Nihangs (who remain celibate) read Charitropakhyan. For me this section (one third of Sri Dasam Granth) is the play of Maya which ends with Benti Chaupai.

  7. I agree with everything you said but Chandi is actually extremely beautiful, Kali is the one with the terrible form, if she were to appear you'd be able to look at her no problem. She's so much lower than Guru Sahib Ji though and since this is Gurbani we're invoking the protection of MahaKaal not Chandi as in the beginning of the Vaar it's even said She got her power from Akaal.

  8. Bhaji, this is not manmat. Khalsa recited Chandi dhi vaar because of bir rass that was needed for the tumultuous times that they lived in when battle was an ever present thing. Chandi dhi vaar is an account of chandi doing battle with the dhents, in essence you are remembering chandi, and what happens when you keep remembering someone? that person will come. Why do we recite GURBANI? so that Guru will come, that we will be close to the Guru, that we will merge into the shabad. You keep reciting chandi dhi vaar and Chandi will come. and who has the naam/simran or spiritual level to be able to endure her terrible form? Once she comes she ain't going anywhere then how you going to get rid of her? You do not know, you are in a mess now. I would suggest if you want to do bani from Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, recite Akaal Ustat. Infact recite the first chaupai from Akaal Ustat - Pranvo aadh ekan-kara recite this day and night whenever you are doing your daily work . . . . . and Guru Gobind Singh Ji will come for sure. Who would you rather have Guru Sahib Ji or Chandi?

  10. Dasam Granth was in paraksh during Dal khalsa ,misl period, Sikh rule and till 1944 at akal takhat and all other takhats. It is SGPC that lifted its parkash from akal takhat after akhand path in 1944. May be we are paying for that mistake now as people are being misled about Dasam Bani. There is nothing wrong having its parkash at takhats as they stand for sikh sovereignty.

  11. The cat has come out of bag. Nothing can be more nonsensicle other than above by a brahmin cohort. If there is one granth that discards Brahminism in the most strong language it is Dasam Granth sahib. If someone dislikes Dasam granth most it is RSS and their agents who pose as sikhs. Shaeheds of 1984 such as Anokh singh babbar, sulakhan singh used to do 10 paths of chandi di vaar everyday.

  13. Parkash of dasam Granth is an old traditions among sikhs dating back to dal khalsa period. http://patshahi10.or...glish&Itemid=63 Maharaja Ranjit Singh listening to the two sacred Granths being recited near Sri Harimandir Sahib. (A Painting by August Theodore Schoefft (1809-1888), made in Amritsar. From Princess Bamba Collection) Note: The following is an excerpt from a book, Sketch of the Sikhs, a singular nation in the province of Penjab, written by Sir John Malcolm* in 1812. John Malcolm’s work is one of the rarest firsthand information recorded by a western historian on the lifestyle, belief systems and traditions of the Sikhs in Punjab during the 18th century . Guru-mata When Gurmata or great national council, is called, (as it always is, or ought to be, when any imminent danger threatens the country, or any large expedition is to be undertaken) all the Sikh chiefs assemble at Amritsar. The assembly, which is called the Guru-mata, is convened by the Acalis; and when the chiefs meet upon this solemn occasion, it is concluded that all private animosities cease, and that every main sacrifices his personal feelings at the shrine of the general good; and, actuated by principles of pure patriotism, thinks of nothing but the interests of the religion, and commonwealth, to which he belongs. When the chiefs and principal leaders are seated, the Adi-Granth and Dasama Padshah ka Granth are placed before them. They all bend their heads before these scriptures, and exclaim, Wa! Guruji ka Khalsa! Wa! Guruji ki Fateh! A great quantity of cakes, made of wheat, butter, and sugar, are then placed before the volumes of their sacred writings, and covered with a cloth. These holy cakes, which are in commemoration of the injunction of Nanac, to eat and to give to others to eat, next receive the salutation of the assembly, who then rise, and the Acalis pray aloud, while the musicians play. The Acalis, then the prayers are finished, desire the council to be seated. They sit down, and the cakes being uncovered, are eaten of by all classes of Sikhs: those distinctions of original tribes, which are, on occasions, kept up, being on this occasion laid aside, in token of their general and complete union in one cause. The Acalis then exclaim: "Sirdars! (Chiefs) this is Guru-mata!" on which prayers are again said aloud. The chiefs, after this sit closer, and say to each other: "The sacred Granth is betwixt us, let us swear by our scripture to forget all internal disputes, and to be united." This moment of religious fervor and ardent patriotism, is taken to reconcile all animosities. They then proceed to consider the danger with whcih they are threatened, to settle the best plans for averting it, and to choose the generals who are to lead their armies against the common enemy. The first Guru-mata was assembled by Guru Govinid; and the latest was called in 1805, when the British army pursued Holkar into the Penjab. (pages. 120-123) ________________________ *Sir John Malcolm (May 2, 1769 ‑ 1833) was a Scottish soldier, statesman, and historian. He held various distinguished posts, being Ambassador to Persia, Resident of Gwalior (1803-1804) and Governor of Bombay 1827-1830. He was the author of several valuable works regarded as authorities, viz., Sketch of the Sikhs, a singular nation in the province of Penjab (1812), A History of Persia (1815), Memoir of Central India(1823), Political History of India from 1784 to 1823 (1826), and Life of Lord Clive (1836)

  14. You need to get some education on sikh history and get rid of your Nihung phobia. Stop maligning all Nihungs in a fit of hate against them. All Nihungs were not Santa followers. Nihungs of Baba Bidhi chand dera came marching to Amritsar when army action was going on and many were killed by army. Baba daya singh of sursingh was leading them. Nihung chief Baba harianwela wale was arrested and tortured by army for his services to panth. Numerous Nihung jathebandhis sacrificed during that time. So all did not go santa singh way. But your sarna a known tout of congress is destroying sikh traditions by promoting atheism of missionaries by providing them Bangla sahib stage so that they could propagate their anti sikh agenda. BJP is also no friend of sikhs but congress is a much bigger evil.

  17. Is 10 percent of above is written in SGGS ji? Waheguru ji ka khalsa is verbal instruction of tenth master. waheguru ji ki fateh is fully written in DG sahib What is shabad guru? Please explain. Where it is written that SGGS ji is guru.We obey verbal command of tenth master. Read asfotak kabit. It is written there.Do you know what is asfotak kabit? kala afghna sect discards amrit vela.Their preachers say there is no amrit vela. Do not bring DG here. You do not obey SGGS also. One becomes khalsa with banis if Dasam Granth.Kakkars is verbal command. Since he does not believe in DG .he has no busniess to wear kara, kirpan and kesh. Answer above questions. If you want to debate debate like a man. do not run away like a kala afghnana thug.

  18. I don't have no evidence, I never claimed I had any!!! I was asking if anybody can shed some light on this. when did I fault sikh history. I did however call the good for nothing,Santa Singh a poodle of Indra Ghandi. A Traitor, who should never have been allowed back into the panth. I did say that.

  19. Man, that is a word for word translation of the actual letter written by Bhai Mani Singh ji. These are not my words. They have been translated by other intellectuals. If you want to doubt them, or provide a better translation, then please go ahead. You have nitpicked at just one word, and used that as the basis to throw away everything else I have said. That seems to be a trend with some people on this forum. I posted a picture of the original letter, but it didn't show up for some reason. I am not doubting that Dasam Granth is Guru Gobind Singh ji's bani. My sticking point is that Dasam Granth is not guru. Guru Gobind Singh ji gave gurgaddi to Adi Granth, not Dasam Granth. Keep doing your Nitnem as is. There is nothing wrong in reciting Guru Gobind Singh ji's bani. However, we must not cross of line of doing prakash of Dasam Granth, or any other Granth alongside Guru Granth Sahib. First of all, it wouldn't sound right. People saying two different things at the same time. Second of all, can you imagine reciting Charitropakhiyan in front of your mother or daughter? Dasam Bani is meant for the Sant Sipahi, who already has knowledge of gurbani and can read Dasam Bani in the proper context. It is not meant for average Sikhs. That is why I believe that Guru Gobind Singh ji did not include his writings in Adi Granth. I didn't even know what a missionary was, in the context that you have used it, until I came on this forum. I have learned something. Thank you.
