Sant Waryam Singh ji, pooran Brahmgyani, there katha are a vital source for spiritual seekers. As soon as I read the title it reminded me of their katha so was a nice to see you mentioned them too ?? We are tested all the time, that ultimate test is possibly a long way off for most of us. I know that spiritual gursikhs say that we should pray to Maharaj not to test us as we are not worthy of parak and unable to pass it unless he himself blesses us with Gian. For point 1, I beleive the tests are in inevitable, it is part and parcel of sikhi, ie Dharam is a way of life, we constantly have to apply Sikhi implementing the Gurus teachings in each action, truthful living. Whether the tests are as hard, only Guruji knows, we cant assume we are off the hook as it's the nature of the mind to then be complacent. The more spiritual a person perhaps the test is harder, ie we would not have the same test that Baba Nand Singh ji Maharaj had. The Guru is all knowing and lovingly guides us. That way if as in point 2, if one hears the sakhi, chit naal with sharda and nimrita then it would enable us to connect to Maharaj. But theres alot of work to do. We have too many distraction, it is really difficult. The Gursikhs - true saints show and help us on the way.

Yeh because once we take Amrit we become a part of Guru Jis family. As long as we take Amrit with the right intentions Maharaj will be ang sang. When Bhai Maha Singh Ji and the 40 Mukteh returned to give shaheedi. Bhai Maha Singh ji asked Maharaj to rip the vadava that they had written and signed. Maharaj ji asked Bhai Maha Singh ji why he wanted it ripped. Bhai Sahib sed because we have written your not our Guru and we're not your Sikhs. Maharaj replied yes u wrote that and signed it. But I never wrote im not your Guru. So just like a mother always waits for her child and never lets go, the Guru will always wait for his Sikh. I think thats where we are slacking in Sikhi these days. We look at Sikhi as rules but not a relationship.

Before we begin some holy crusade against the missionaries (Christian missionaries in this case lol), let's stop and think for a second. Why are they able to target these Sikhs? And what have we (sangat, leaders) done to help them? Our people do nothing to help our brothers and sisters who have a hard life, and yet have the gaul to complain when others come along, help them and convert them to their religion! We first gotta get our house in order. And once we do, these type of missionaries will be easily handled.

If there was ever any doubt that the Christian missionary movement has a active Sikh conversion policy they've kicked into higher gear, this should dispel all doubts.
