  1. Maybe because Jats are the only remaining group who are still actively alpha amongst the Sikh community. We could also ask why are Jats the only group to aggressively take on Delhi in the protests. You can’t knock a group of people who still possess the hot blood needed to take risks.

  3. pasarana is to spread /expand , with one sound the universe was created which is a vibration that can still be heard now . To start from unity to the expanse and repeat the cycle then you would have to have death or collecting up of potential mass /force . Sikhi are not christians who cannot fathom other s lifeforms prior to this human domininant one sikhs KNOW that all life is Akal Purakh and whether we came from a homo erectus prior to now that is not important for a Sikh . Are you seriously saying that Guru Granth Sahib's metaphors should be taken in literal form? are you an ex abrahamic?

  5. The future will be handled and preserved by that very group of people that ‘dallysingh’ despises and likes to knock at every opportunity. It’s the people of the soil that will and are promoting our wrestling, gym and kabaddi culture. It’s also those people who are resurrecting our culture such as breeding indigenous horses and keeping weapons.

  6. The next war that takes place, for equality, so women feel equal, can we have an army of 50% men and 50% women ? I'm all for equality, and it's only fair if the same number of women are sent to war to die as well. Preferably the feminists, as they want equality. When the next war is about to take place and mobs of angry feminists are protesting that 50% of the army should be women, I'll be protesting with them as a proud feminist.

  8. Yeh they did! Some by starching and ironing their turbans to the point they no longer resembled turbans, but more like hard hats. Some also pushed a fashion where shaving and shaping their beards whilst wearing tiny turbans became the norm and being Sabat Soorat was considered backward. Some also abandoned their motherland and replaced it by calling a African imperial colony their home. Some of them also built the first Gurdwaras exclusively to serve and be run by certain surnames. Some of their children are also championing the LGBT movement in the UK and dress like fudoos. I could go on all day but that would make me become you.

  9. This is Kalyug. We've been hurt and dissapointed by women and it gives us a bias. They've been getting wrecked by males and it gives them a bias. A wound. We need to remember to love and respect each other and support each others healthy roles, by admiring those of us acting healthily, and becoming healthy ourselves. If women interest you, follow the Guru's teachings and put them all out of your mind, become a worthy Gursikh and join a worthy Gursikh Singhni. If you're greeb but have amazing Sharda? Join your counterpart and base your Anand Karaj on Gurmat not materialism. If you do, you will have what you need and more. Don't let anything stop you from having and educating your own children. There's always a way, especially in the "west". And if there isn't a way? You better have twice as many, your lineage is being malnourished into extinction. Or have none and parent the children of the world that need it in passing. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh

  10. Guru Granth Sahib Ji refutes these concepts repeatedly. Especially alcohol which you can't even hold the container of. Purtan punjabis drank, Sikhs do not drink bro by the words of the Guru. Misls were up to all sorts of Manmat doesn't make it Gurmat.

  11. I don’t know if this is true. But I think Gurjant is generally very good on here and I like majority of his posts . I think the history of (and ongoing ) racism in the states has been/is more extreme than what we are used to here and it’s why he is so passionate against it. I agree with him, there are too many topics here where we are discussing race. I can see that it’s causing a lot of disagreements. I don’t think we are getting anywhere with these topics. better to focus on how we can be better and improve ourselves rather than knock down other groups.

  13. This threads been good. It's made me re-evaluate my thinking. I think with conservative families the pressure to present this idyllic image is just majorly over-powering. Any people from this background who've had these types of issues in their past would likely seriously struggle to get married in the arranged marriage system. No wonder they hide it. It happens the other way round too. I know a few amritdhari virgin blokes who got married to girls from 'respectable' families, who've found out all manner of shyte about their brides afterwards.

  15. I wonder if it wasn't Kalyug who tested Jesus 40 days and he passed, possibly the only one, but cried blood. Guru Nanak Dev Ji didn't blink bro. I've barely run into mention of shaitan in Gurbani. But maybe that indicates yes is real, yes not powerful. I'll try and find where.

  16. Also pondering the idea that Kaliyuga could refer to two different Kalis. And perhaps the type we experience has to do also with which one has control. The Kali that should or the Kali that does. I mean isn't a lot of Dasam Granth Ji about Kali..the female... fighting demons...but ultimately its the demon Kali, male, that takes power there after? Whats with the Kali coincidence? And I mean if we wanted to see...the rights of a black woman taken by a demon man...play out...I mean well...we wouldn't have to look far or long. Do we have a chance to live a better Kali Yug if we reinvert the heart lotus of this place and put the rightful Kali in place? Is this how Kalki can come and Khalsa Raj start but the timer of Kali Yug tick on 200000 whatever more years but better than this? Under Halemi Raj? Will the pretender Kali have to ask those he beleigures to save his reign from his underlings coup? Could this exact coup be what triggers the event? The absolute need for it? All this and more in the next edition of Interpreting Gurbani in a World Gone Mad.

  17. I know this sounds weird. But during Simran instead of feeling...trolled by Kalyug for once for lack of better terms, I felt like...Kalyug was asking for help bro. It's just an experience during Simran ya know? Most the time I feel what I would choose or create in the world conflicting with the march of Kalyug. For once I feel different. Not working against Kaliyug, or being worked against by Kalyug, but...saving the status quo...for now.

  22. In terms of complaints there isn't enough activity here. Let's all post more appropriate content, like more content and invite everyone on facebook, insta, twitter, thats a Sikh to come discuss here instead. Where we can formulate approaches to the vitriole and lies of social media here under Khalsa Moderation. That is if you aren't embarassed of some of the threads. And we shouldn't be. We should speak Truth and let it be seen what plagues the Paanth and how we deal with it.

  25. People keep claiming this to make some sort of point or get clout, but the truth is that this is still under research. Had the Sikh Reference Library not been stolen and the SGPC not be corrupt and sign off papers that say they received puratan saroops back from GOI even though they didn't, we would have an answer to this Mahalla 10 question. Though, current research points to it not being Mahalla 10, as older saroops that the panth has available do not have this.

  33. It's legal here. One can grow a few plants. If you want to grow as a crop, sure you can, as soon as you post the cool million dollar bond built in place to make sure only the rich can afford to grow it and therefore profit. Can't have the poor being industrious.

  35. Those same things can be heat extracted, oil extracted, steam extracted, solvent extracted then evaporated. Look how they make essential oils in general and live resin from cannabis for example. Look at Sukha for example. It's an herb. People smoke it, bake into butter and eat it, steam distill it, grind it, heat press it, ice water sedement and seperate it, beat and sift it, make it into tea, even butane and evaporate it before making the alcohol tincture known as emerald dragon. Even people that like Sukha and alcohol don't ruin their Sukha by using alcohol as the solvent or delivery vehicle.

  40. I think that's bollox. If someone started a relationship with me based on hiding the truth - I'd subsequently suspect their agenda. If YOU had a daughter this happened to, you'd be in your rights to start head kicking over it.

  41. Bollocks mate. Juts have brought into this shyte more than anyone else. You can't try and obfuscate that. Even anglos records point at that. You've had a Jut controlled Panjab with Badal - the results show it all..... And I wouldn't shake in my boots - I'm not a closeted pu55y. I've never been risk averse since young.

  42. UK Sikhs aren't much different, a lot of the youth copy Jamiacans, at least in my day they did. You'd hear phrases like safe blud, seen, wagwan etc. Its just to sound 'cool some of them have even picked up the jafaican accent. Speaking like this won't get you far in life.

  43. That's naughty. It was a reaction to long term and deeply embedded casteist based opportunity giving and nepotism that forced reservations. The people who may now benefit from reservations were exactly the people who were suffering from being locked out of opportunities for millennia. If the people who are now complaining were more meritocratic, there wouldn't have been such a strong need for reservations. But people rarely ever give up power and resources willingly for egalitarian purposes. That's the truth. And I think it says a lot that just a relatively short period of not having a system that entirely resolves around your own needs and advantages, is enough to bring certain people to their knees.

  45. Trying to figure out how to put this.. We must embrace homosexuals, and still uphold chastity and Anand Karaj. We must embrace women as equals but also demand they perform as equals and still respect Anand Karaj. Putting a Shastar in Bhenjis hands and respecting her is the real feminism. Expecting women to function and be healthy is also feminism. Respecting them for their differences and strengths is real feminism. In Guriskh society, from what I can tell, most things were legal, or accepted for the larger populace to do. Only truly critical things were enforced. That reflects a lot of acceptance and unity..togetherness..family...but the Guru Sahiban and the Khalsa were in leadership roles and Gursikhi was never altered to accomodate the lack of morals in general human society. I think we need to outwardly accept these groups, and hold the Sikhs within them to Gursikhi. Or love them as community members but not Gursikhs. If we try and control or dissaprove of homosexuality, which is born with the child, all we do is pigeon hole ourselves as backwards. We should respectfully, lovingly, expect them to be chaste and join in Anand Karaj or fight for the Paanth as a single male or female. Kaam is what we eliminate not homosexuality. That's equality. Make no mistake all the new age movements are designed to dissolve the family unit and isolate people for control. Each of these movements does represent an actual segment of society under attack however as well, who's movement is co-opted. So both the minority represented in the movement and the society are simultaneously attacked with each other to degrade morals on both sides. We don't need to anti any of these people. We are for Gursikhi though, and what that means won't change to accomodate people, people change to accomodate Gursikhi. They can help Khalsa Raj from within the Paanth or simply benefit from living under its protection one day. Really the main problem along these lines in the Paanth is people are born Sikh...but they're not.... they're born Punjabi and maybe become Sikh. These punjabis who think they are born a Sikh, and are therefore a Sikh, want to be like everyone else, so they want to change Sikhi to be like them which it isn't. It never was or will be manmat. Actually they were born Punjabi to Sikh parents and when they're ready to accept Gurmat they can become Sikhs. The Paanth actually has no agenda against these interest groups or their well beings. And it's very easy to welcome them into the Paanth and not change Gurmat at all.

  46. This post shows a lack of empathy and a very bad understanding of the current issues, not to mention all the negative stereotypes you used. Our black brothers and sisters have been subject to the most intense systemic and institutional racism which still continues to this day. The whole point of the month and BLM for that matter is to bring awareness to it and demand further change, so black people have equal opportunities like the rest of us. We as Khalsey of Guru Gobind Singh jee should not be opposed to this as anything that promotes equality and justice is in-line with Maharaj's hukam. ..."maanas kee jaath sabai eaekai pehichaanabo"
