  2. I'll be honest. And I know many will hate me for saying this. Do ardaas take it off until training is completed and the before you put it back on do ardaas again. I did this when I had to fly to Vancouver. Also your training martial arts. And yes occasionally you have to spar with others. It's not safe for your or the other fighter. I believe Guru ji wants us to learn martial arts and hand to hand combat. Therefore my Guru ji wont mind...in my opinion. I learned sikhi from basics of sikhi bhai jagraj singh. He said sikhi is practical. Can't stress over these things to much. Yes be tyar bar tyar. Where it in the shower, to bed. But when it comes to training and sparring with others I believe u should do ardaas and train with peace of mind. Not constantly worrying if you'll hurt the other person. Plus I would like to see more sikhs in professional combat sports. But to do so..you must train with others. Some people are to strict. It a point it becomes a bit ritualistic, which is totally against sikhi. Now I know ...I mightve offended someone ...or someone will have the need to say I'm wrong and that the message im passing on is not right. Thats fine ...I know...I understand. But thats my opinion...take it or leave it.

  9. Personally I beleive all the bhagats like bhagat kabir and sheikh fareed and many others who arent mentioned in gurbani all go to Sach Khand. It's not a sikh only venue. It's easy for ppl to manipulate a tuk of gurbani to sway it and justify their argument because gurbani is so deep and each tuk can have so many meanings. Whilst I dont have a shabad to hand I do think we need an open mind on this. I heard someone mention an anecdote in a katha that 'Nanak Naam Jahaj Hai', gursikhs (if truly on the path I suppose) travel on the path of Nanak which is like a plane, other paths may be like travelling that distance on foot, on a bike, in a car with many more obstacles and much longer. Not sure if this is the right way to see it. Also if Bhai Khaniya could see God in all , even the enemy then we perhaps cant condemn others from reaching sach Khand for being on a different path. Those whose actions are bad are unlikely to go to Sach Khand whether sikh or not.

  13. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh Very true veerji.Unfortunately this is the case in many countries.People treat MPs and people with authority with so much respect but they don't do same for the True King of Kings and the One with the highest Authority, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. So sad,in my country some of the committee members are even Alcoholics! So sad to see this beadbi happening. Bhul Chuk Maf ?

  14. To do so they don't have to be Sikh. They just have to follow the Guru's Dharam to a T and are therefore indistinguishable. There is no way Bhagat Kabeer Jis Bani is next to Guru's Bani and Kabeer Ji is not next to the Guru.
