  1. I'd rather listen to Dhur ki bani as given to us by Guru ji as it gives correct dues to Akal Purakh rather than only praising Chandi

  2. Sikh Americans owe their easy American dream freedom due to African Americans freedom struggle and brutal history of gaining equal rights. Defunding the police is the idea to hold them accountable. I don’t agree with defunding them but that is the pressure on them to bring change. 6 months basic training and you are police. Then there are police unions - a mafia group. - Mental Health needs to be maintained properly - Police should not be dispatched for mental health and domestic issues. Let them keep free for criminal cases. - Stop being politics into safety. A week ago fence was removed from capitol grounds upon protest from republicans and now we have one police died which fence was a good threat deterrent.

  3. Perhaps. My feeling is that if this particular attack was hatched or encouraged by a scheming third party for a vested interest, the guy would've had guns. He also would've been white. The nervous, reluctant reaction to the attack on the part of the news media suggests the attacker didn't tick any of the necessary boxes required for the media to slip into "Narrative" mode. Maybe this time it was a lone nutter.

  5. Everything happens in Waheguru jees hukam is truth. If we see anything wrong and it is against the natural process then it is also our dharam duty to stand against it. That is also granted by our waheguru’s hukam.

  6. I found this funny, maybe it isn't but the original is not my idea of 'art' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-56623734 Graffiti artwork on display in South Korea has been damaged by a couple who thought brushes and paint laid in front of the piece were for visitors' use. "They thought they were allowed to do that as participatory art and made a mistake," the head of the exhibition in Seoul told Reuters news agency. After staff spotted fresh brushstrokes CCTV footage identified the accidental vandals, a man and woman in their 20s. The untitled piece is estimated to be worth about $500,000 (£360,000). It was painted by US graffiti artist JonOne in front of an audience in Seoul in 2016. It has since been displayed at various venues, along with the paint and brushes used in the live performance - which are regarded as integral parts of the artwork. 7. that s a bad post. Chandi di Vaar of Dasmesh Pita has infinitely times more bir rass than Sanskrit hindu version. if Sanskrit version was strong, why Hindus hv such cowardly past? Brahmins who read these Sanskrit prayers all the time, r the most coward and deceiving people on the planet.

  8. thanx for replying veer ji. problems behind 2008 recession were not solved and r just have been delayed. Don't you think we need to spread awareness among the sikh community about the coming economic recession/depression? Sikhs need to invest in rural farming land, learn some survival skills and prepare for stock market/real estate bubble burst. Sikhs also need to be mentally prepared for a future that will be much less prosperous.

  12. I'm astounded how Indian men over there, more so Sikhs who are supposed to be martially inclined, can't punch. I think they rely on talking or shouting themselves out of dicey situations, or waving around a stick, metal bar, etc. Considering what went down in the 80s and 90s it's disappointing how gianis and parcharaks never tried to mainstream the absolute necessity for basic fighting skills. The point needed to be hammered home to every single Sikh in existence so that during a hypothetical future scenario of attempted mass murder Sikhs would be better prepared. Unfortunately, we tend to overestimate our own strength or, as I was lead to believe as a child, that God and Shaheeds would "inject" the necessary fighting skills into me when required, and training wasn't necessary, lmao. Overzealous and naive religiosity is a dangerous combination. ?

  15. The crash will only come when it is useful. The markets do not follow 'logic'..they are manipulated (just look at what gamestop revealed about market manipulation). The markets and their movements are controlled by a few firms and individuals. When the decide the market needs to pop, you'll be the last to know. It's a rigged system.

  20. We dont look to western sense of being a man. In our culture loving your parents and being close to them throughout life is a good quality in a man. even today in India we are given examples of ideal sons like Sarvan Kumar who was a devoted son till his last moments. In our culture, no matter how big you get, even if you become a great King or Saint you will always be a child for your mother. Even in Islamic culture loving your mother is considered a virtuous quality of a faithful Muslim. Prophet Muhammad said Jannat can be found in the feet of one's mother. We dont subscribe to western notions of being a "man". For them a so called man is a detached emotionless terminator robot guy who feels no sense of love or belonging to his family. Thats why you will notice western kids feel embarrassed to be seen with their parents. You think we should look up to such a culture? Never!
