Another fact I found interesting is that from Akal takht, Harmandir Sahib is visible but from Harmandir Sahib, Akal takht is not visible.

Really ? what census would they have in the 1700s that Guru Sahib would participate in. Panth Parkash uses stories that were passed down by older generations and Dr. Ganda Singh uses contemporary sources of those who were there with Banda Singh.

So, I was reading this book called Life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and His Teachings by Dalip Singh. In it he tells how in chapter 2 of Bachitar Natak Guru Ji tells how the world was created. It says "When the formless God effected the expansion of the universe by uttering a word, (Oankar) He created the Earth. At the onset He created the matter of the five elements (Maya), from it a most beautiful and powerful king named Kalsain (Vishnu) emerged. The second king produced was Kalkait (Brahma) and the third Koorrbaras (Shiva). The fourth was Kaldhuj (Mahavishnu), from Whom the whole creation emerged. God has thousands of beautiful eyes and thousands of lovely feet. He has enthroned Himself on the bed cushion pf multi-headed Hydra Serpent and He is remembered by the people, the One seated on the coiled body of Hydra Serpent. God extracted wax from one of His ears, from which Madh and Kitab were produced. He then extracted wax from the other ear, from which this universe was created. He then cursed Madh and Kitab to be killed. Their body fluids were thrown into the ocean. The gluey and oily matter of their body fluids began to float on the surface of water and from thence onward the creation was named after Madh. Those who perform good deeds in this universe are remembered as godly persons, while the evil doers are called demons." It is very interesting to see what Guru Ji wrote. After this Dalip Singh Ji said "Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in this myth first gives ideas of Guru Nanak as Given in Japji, that the Universe was brought into existence by utterance of One Word by God. In this way God created the Three Gods of Hindu Trinity, Brhama, Vishnu, Shiva, signifying creation of Matter (Maya) of three modes, from which the whole universe was created. Sangat Ji I haven't been able to leave this forum as I have a addiction to this forum so I come here to make my final post for atleast a couple of month. The fact that people overlook the Namdharis lies and manipulations of Sikhi and say “oh but look at their Kirtan”, just makes me cringe. You should look up the definition of preserve. The type of Kirtan the Namdhari cultists do isn’t the same as the Guru. They learned from others how to do it. The Namdharis didn’t always do Raag Kirtan, until one of their babas sent people to go learn it from others.

One demands that we recite five bania in the morning, but the other says three minimum compulsory would suffice. One says that the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is our eternal Guru, while the other preaches the existence of controversial Bachitar Natak as its younger brother. Going back in time, the intent of the Amrit by our Tenth Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was to unite Sikhs transcending cast and creed by forming the Khalsa brotherhood, but unfortunately politics did not spare our religion. It is critically important, especially now, that we unite on the back of uniformity under the established principles of the SRM, for the sake of our upcoming generations. I am going share an experience. Today i was listening to chopai sahib very carefully, at the verse before the verses in which date, place is mentioned in the end...i got a very strong shiver in me. I felt all my hairs of body were so much in energy. I felt extreme energy in me (without any reason). I was dumb struck.i got water in my eyes.i can still feel a shivering not of fear but of something xtra ordinary.it was brilliant & still is. The only word from my mouth in shaken voice came out after getting normal was - " waheguru,waheguru,dhan dhan guru gobind singh sahib " every inch of it is true. It was just about half an hour ago.
