Though vedic literature possesses difficult and complex thoughts, Persian spiritual literature is better as it has more fear, love and faith on God. What does the sangat think? It is sad that Damdami Taksal has become hinduized with the influence of nirmalas. Students there read lots of vedic literature but very less Persian literature.

People love invoking Orwell's 1984 as the type of world we don't want to aspire to in real life, but in reality if the powers-that-be were to create a society purely based on physical and mental oppression, they're asking for rebellion and eventual overthrow. It may work for a while but not forever. I think Aldous Huxley's Brave New World (where society is fooled into believing it's free when in reality it's actually completely controlled at every level) is more sustainable because it doesn't draw attention to itself. I actually think we already exist in a milder form of this type of world in the West. I don't think most people care or even concern themselves with things that matter. We've been duped into craving worthless material things in order to head off any awkward questions or placate any pangs of conscience about our reality. While elements of 1984 are obvious in our own world (the illusion of political diversity; the emergence of political correctness; anticipating thought crime, rewriting history, etc), long-term control comes from providing people with the illusion of choice. If the people aren't aware they're oppressed (because Westerners equate oppression with overt jack-booted practices enacted in places like North Korea and Iran), then they won't look at their own existence and feel anything is awry. They'll actually feel quite smug about all that freedom, lol. But as Sant Jarnail Singh said, "I don't fear physical death; I fear the death of my conscience." How many people are even bothered about such things as long as they have the material trivialities at hand that dull the nagging voice in their heads?

Its not about what my stance is or what anyone's stance is. Our gurus have clearly demonstrated what the family structure and order should be. All I said is that the bride gets married into the grooms family and the children take the name of their fathers family, as our gurus have set example. No where have I said that kids shouldn't interact with their mothers family. In fact Guru Gobind Singh ji learnt shastar vidhiya from his mothers brother. I myself have always been more close to my mothers family, I don't even know my fathers family that well. But I take my fathers families name, because that's the family I was born into and that's the name I will give my kids. The bride gets married into the grooms family, and the kids take the fathers name. Just like Guru Gobind Singh ji did and just like Guru Nanak Dev ji did. Unless you feel the Gurus did it wrong? But as our Gurus have said, in Kalyug, the opposite will start happening. People will cross all moral boundaries and the order/structure of society will fall apart. Our Gurus have said in Kalyug men will forget their parents and start running around after their wives. So it won't be surprising if in the near future men will take their wife's name, move into their wife's house and kids will take their mother's name. I'm sure Sikh women are looking forward to the the development of Kalyug. What we see as progression in society, is actually kalyug spreading its tentacles.

Bro you know a lot of the females in Porn are actually mentally unstable, there is a lot of mental illness, depression, drugs and abuse in that industry. The women that you watch in those movies are not having "fun" as they appear. A lot of them are on drugs and probably drugged b4 they start acting. Its abuse!
