If someone wants to keep the downvote give a reason why rather than just downvoting me2 points

Lust isn't a sin bro, it's a thief and an enemy. To be defeated. Then put to work. 1. Yes. You want to build your Naam up to 24 7 365. 2. No difference. Your being stolen from by Moh instead of Kaam. Those things individually will be more or less destructive than the Kaam, but not different. 3. 4. 5. Remember Vaheguru always or increasingly to always. It's a practice thing not a sin thing. 6. You want all things in your day to flow out from your praises of God. So you don't have to choose one or the other. You just weed the garden using the energy of the Naam Jaap. Or while witnessing from the Shabad while you Jaap Naam and witness the body just do the work. Kaam, Krodh, Lob, Moh, Ahankar / Haumai all the same. All gotta go. Only solution, Naam Gurbani and give up your Sis to Vaheguru Akal Purakh through the Guru Sahiban. It's not about sins though bro. It's about disciplining yourself into accord with Righteousness, and sure, you abstain from kurehits and the panj chor as that happens.2 points

These are minor things in the grand scheme of things. What matters more is if one can do naam jap and their karams will change accordingly.2 points

Transparent reactions. Solved. That or admins have to moderate those that abuse the downvote system and use it as a cowardly form of abuse devoid of intellectual input of any kind. Which only effects the contributing members of the forum.1 point

I'm not from BC, however, judging from a recent article it looks like it is a hotspot. Mirroring what @luckysingh99has mentioned, your family is going to have to stay in a hotel. There is a possibility that this could change with the coming months.1 point
-
Yes, you do have to stay in hotel after having covid test when landing(airport). It has to be Airport hotel and you must book and pay for 3 nights even though most people are out by the 2nd day. Cost of $1500 per person.1 point

Of course they are, cause there hasn't been enough people dead already. Cause electing some random old man for your pind is more important than how many more people will get corona. It's like these people pick and choose with corona restrictions. They put a stop on things they don't want to continue and keep the things they want.1 point

Honestly I just zoned out by the time it was the second wave! When the second wave began I stopped watching the news or paying attention to what was going on around me. It didn't even know we were going into lockdown again. I just completely zoned out with everything. Yeah I was watching a video and its costing the families around 20,000 rupees to cremate their dead relatives. The ambulance drivers alone charge 7000 rupees for a 3 mile journey! So some poor people can't afford all this so they are dumping the dead bodies on road sides. I watched a video where some of the angry relatives started beating the ambulance driver up at the cremation ground. In the UP the local panchayat elections are taking place now.1 point

A lot of countries messed up really badly. I still remember when Victoria was in its second wave, we had 700 cases the most in a day. Then there was a lot of restrictions for a good 3 months. It was painful but worth it. Now we have 0 cases everyday besides from hotel quarantine. We still have to wear masks in public transport, which is annoying, but reasonable. Australia had a low population density so it was a bit easier to control but if other countries had done the same then there would be in our position. But there's no hope for India. I heard how hospitals are making non sick people stay in the hospital so it looks like they're full so the really sick people would have to pay a lot. And apparently medicine that would normally cost 5000 rupees, they're selling it for 65000. What hope do you have for a country that has grown men throwing cow poo at each other?1 point

Sharia law is in operation in Pakistan. Which means that the testimony of a non Muslim is 1/2 that of a Muslim. So no chance of justice or human rights. Hence what India has CAA for those suffering human rights abuses. Hopefully NRC will be passed to remove illegals from India adding to such problems. After all they voted for separation.1 point

Indian-origin man in New Zealand arrested for allegedly threatening Sikh youth on social media He reportedly called the Sikh man a ‘Khalistani terrorist’, and posted his photos and phone number online. https://scroll.in/latest/990062/indian-origin-man-in-new-zealand-arrested-for-allegedly-threatening-sikh-youth-on-social-media Mar 20, 2021 · 12:50 pmUpdated Mar 20, 2021 · 02:59 pm The police in New Zealand’s Auckland city on Friday arrested a man of Indian origin for allegedly threatening a Sikh youth on social media and posting derogatory messages against him, The Times of India reported. The accused also abused a few other people. The man allegedly made the offensive remarks on a Facebook group. He reportedly called the Sikh man a “Khalistani terrorist” and posted his photos and phone number online. The man accused the youth of running a hate campaign against Indians, and urged people to complain to the police about him. The accused also told the youth that he would come to his house to teach him a lesson, according to The Times of India. The police have filed a case against the man based on the youth’s complaint. They are also likely to investigate the role of some other people in making hateful comments. Sikh community leaders in Australia have also noted a growing divide within the Indian-Australian community, according to The Guardian. They alleged that Facebook and WhatsApp were being used to disseminate rhetoric against religious minority groups, amid the farmers’ protest in India. Last month, armed men had attacked four Sikh students in Sydney. It was suspected to be a hate crime. Thousands of farmers, mainly from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, have been camping outside Delhi since December, the repeal of the Centre’s new agricultural laws. The laws seek to open up the country’s agriculture markets to private companies. Farmers fear the policies will make them vulnerable to corporate exploitation and would dismantle the minimum support price regime.1 point

Read Japji Sahib all your doubts will be removed. Read articles on websites like www.Sikh-history.com and ask yourselves why did Sikhs rather chose death than convert to other faiths? Sacrificing their entire wealth and families when they could have easily converted and lived an easy or comfortable life. What was so precious and so important worth dying for in Sikhi that they did not abandon their faith against overwhelming odds?1 point

Any human with an enquiring mind that seeks the truth undergoes such crises of faith. Nobody can convince you whether all the things you want to be true ARE true as they relate to your own particular understanding of life and existence (at this stage in your life), because we are fundamentally driven by different forces, even though from another perspective we aren't as different, individual, or as complex as we like to believe. I usually find a person who's lived a little of life with many of its trials and tribulations is in a better to place to seek the answers to these questions from within themselves instead of seeking definitive and insurmountable validation from others or external sources. You're asking questions that have troubled humans since conscious thought came into being. What do you expect people to say? You can either receive these answers as expressions of our belief in the Sikh faith (and then continue the journey to discover how these beliefs relate to you), or you can dismiss them based on what you currently feel to be your overall understanding of life and such matters. It really is all about faith. Trying to definitively get to the bottom of life's greatest mysteries on an overcast Saturday afternoon is asking too much of the sangat on here, lol. Look within.1 point

Excellent news, but you'll have no luck getting Muslims to accept it unfortunately. If this manuscript if discovered to have been contemporary to Muhammad, it will finally put an end to all the hysterical protests by Islamic apologists that the Koran was not written by the Prophet and that it's more questionable and violent passages were later augmentations. In other words, Muhammad's viciousness will be proven once and for all, it won't be a matter of debate any more. And if it is found to predate him, then it will simply prove what we've known about him all along, that he was a liar. Win-win situation really.1 point
