  3. I used to live in east london about 10 years ago. In gants hill, Ilford, seven kings areas. It was actually very nice during that time. Nice area to live in and still is in certain parts. Mostly Sikh/Hindu sri lankans in the area back then. Having visited again after so many years. Some areas feel like down town islamabad. Especialy ilford lane. people walking around in full islamic robes. But thats probably down to ramadam month. But none the less. Mostly muslim foods shops from top to bottom. While the Sikh population has declined. Only ones left are the newly arrived fresh off the bananna boat ( in search of a better phrase) Whats happening down there? Looks like the whole area has gone down hill. From what I have heard is many muslims from the nearby borough of walthamstow which has a big muslim population have crossed over and moved to Redbridge. Not sure why they have done this. But guessing most prefer Redbridge then walthamstow. Hardly ever See any brit born Sikh crews about as i used to. Mostly see the pendu punjabis all over the place walking around like they are in some pendu village acting like some hereos.

  9. A Skeptical Look at the OligoScan (NOT my opinion, lol) The OligiScan’s manufacturer appears to be Physioquanta, of Montpellier, France. OligoScan North America, which is described on its Web site as “exclusive USA partners of OligoScan Europe,” registered and filed its articles of organization as a domestic limited-liability company in Nevada on June 5, 2013. The company’s domain (oligoscan.net) was registered for one year on May 25, 2013 by Rashid A. Buttar, D.O., of Cornelius, North Carolina, who is identified in videos as the company’s medical director. The Nevada registration document lists Seguros Management LTD of Nassau as its “manager.” Seguro’s Web site offers to provide nominal company directors, officers or company managers “to eliminate, from public records, the identities of the principals of the company and in doing so, provide the privacy you deserve.” [3] The FDA’s 510(k) database, which lists devices that have been cleared for marketing within the United States, yielded no entries when I searched on October 26th for “OligoScan.” Buttar describes the device as “probably the most exciting thing I have seen in diagnostics in my professional career as a physician, and I’ve been a physician now for 22 years.” [1] Buttar, a major promoter of chelation therapy, is chairman of the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology, a group that advocates chelation therapy for a wide range of nonstandard uses [4]. During a disciplinary hearing held in 2008, he indicated that nearly all the patients he sees are diagnosed with heavy metal toxicity and receive chelation therapy [5]..... Why I Am Skeptical To validate the use of such a device, several types of studies would be essential. One would be to validate the accuracy with laboratory tests that examine whether the device can reliably measure the contents of purified blood/plasma extracts that are known to have various concentrations of heavy metals and other ions. If such measurements are accurate, extensive testing would be needed to (a) see whether measurements in the hand reflect values in rest of the body, (b) to determine what levels warrant concern, and (c) whether modifying these levels with chelation improves patient health. OligoScan’s Web sites offer a list of 35 articles that supposedly support use of the device [8]. Some involve the mineral content of food. Some discuss the health risks of heavy metals. Some discuss spectroscopy. But none, as far as I can tell, evaluate what the OligiScan video claims or demonstrate that patients benefited from use of the device. Without published studies, including some from independent investigators, I see no reason to consider the test useful or even potentially useful.

  10. I have only taken one or two in the past 2-3 months, have run out lol, need to order more. I take less in summer, and actively try to get sun on my trunk in the garden when not doing my office-based job! It's likely more beneficial (in my mind at least!) I take occasional supplements of other things, but I know that most vitamins are absorbed fine in the diet. Apparently a lot of people (not surprisingly since in greens) have low levels of folic acid. I am also wary that the 'supplement industry' (and pharmaceutical) have a lot to gain from us.

But look at how many people have got away with Beadbi since the Bargari incident. No doubt the RW Hindus will try to demonise us but what happened to this guy will prevent others from trying the same.

  18. Please don’t turn this thread into caste and superior genetics thingy. @Premi5doabay walay did moved large numbers to Uk soon after the era world war 2 and industrialization. However they were not moving to America till it was 80/90’s. West coast of America is mostly Doaba and malwa east coast has good sizeable Majha region. My wife is from Doaba area but did not lived there. I go along with everyone but for some reason, my close friends are mainly malwa folks - hailing from Ludhiana, bathinda, patiala.

  21. 100%. This is why that rogue country doesnt let Sikhs read our own history. We literally learn about this nonsense indian kingdoms that we had no connection to rather than learning about people who gave their everyhting for us. It's all systematic. Sikhs are constantly surrounded by indian propaganda which tells them that being a Sikh is not important. I used to be just like that and only when I was able to leave the country and not be surrounded by Indian propaganda I became so much stronger in sikhi that no one can brainwash me again. All that patriotism vanished from me lol. The sikhs in india who know this they are put into jails and the dumb brainwashed ones keep propagating the jai hind bs.i knew a girl who used to go to same school as me in india and she would cut her hair and there was nothing sikh like about her. She came to canada like 1 or 2 years before my family. After I came to canada I somehow found her profile on facebook through mutuals and she had become amritdhari. I was shocked! And its probably because she was able to get away from indian influence and realise how they are trying to keep us way from sikhi. We say muslims are stronger than us in our beliefs but they have their homelands while we are stateless and constantly bombarded by indian propaganda. If we had a homeland no matter what it would be 1000% better than being in india. Alot of sikhs in india have become docile because they have been pressured to not make sikhi their central aspect of life. They live among hindus and being minority feel outcasted when they become more into sikhi. It's very complicated. But it's our duty to make the best use of social media and wake our people up. I constantly tell my female cousins back home about sikhi and Indian state propaganda. Media can be a curse and a boon. It's how we make use of it.

  25. It's an aspect of human psychology. A rational person would accept that the Indian govt and Indira Gandhi planned a massacre both in June 1984 and through her son in November 1984. A non-rational person cannot accept that their govt and their leader did wrong so they have to justify it by claiming that it was in fact their side that were the victims. In order to justify June 1984, they have to make wild claims of thousands of Hindus being massacred prior to the govt organised massacre and for Nov 1984 they use the assassination of Indira Gandhi. Do not be misled by the fact that this women is a doctor because like the west nowadays being a professional does not necessary guarantee that the person is not brainwashed by their political beliefs.

  30. He was also a British stooge. Gained the title Babu Teja Singh from his work fixing some nuts on I think it was train railways for the goray. I think the "abhilakhee" lot bibis do all wear keskis though, he was never an Akali Bunga Takht Sarabrah /jathedaar however himself or his students do use the abhilakhee word a lot as well as overuse of the gursikh term. Bhasauria and the influence of his students/cheley did manage to change Benti Chaupai to skip 'kripa kar har jagmata' from Benti Chaupai and completely exlude Arril; and this carried over to the SGPC Akal Takht rehat maryada! Remember this was a period when a sikh organisation could hide behind women to remove Khalsa leaders from Akali Bunga, such as what happened with Budha Dal chief Baba Sahib Singh Kaladhari. Haven't won yet, through his influence Benti Chaupai is still read in a cut corrupt form: 'kripa kar har jagmata' is skipped from Benti Chaupai and Arril is completely excluded, so many gutkas have been published this way because of people like him. Teja and his student who was granthi at Harimandir Sahib, they both managed to forcefully change the Benti Chaupai to this at Harimandir Sahib as well. Kept adding their own corrupt men into the sangat until whole sangat submitted to their will to commit the Benti Chaupai beadbi which carries onto this day. ...still not won, need to do more. Yeh he used to do keertan of Dasam bani and then he just switched. Kala Afghana has similar view to Teja Sing B.

  32. sikh said we have no problem with muslims coming to do namaz in gurdwara muslims also said we have no problem to do namaz there (despite the reporter pointing out there are mosques nearby) however when muslims were asked would it be ok for sikhs to come to masjid and do their prayers they said our religion doesn't allow that when it came to eating langar or prashad at the gurdwara ,the muslims actually said that would be haram for them to eat it , given that it is made of nonharam veg and dal and grains they are talking out of their As as there no restriction quran wise. so there you have it halaal to pray on site of Guru ji's darbar namaz and haram to eat anything there (which is not what old school punjabi muslims believe or say) , halaal to approach other dharams daughters but haram to allow own daughters to have friends who are nonmuslim.

  35. Also they have so many countries in this world. And we are here stateless. But no sympathy for us. And seeing how we have no power these same liberals think that sikhs who want our resources to not be spent on others is being extremist. Seriously? im so done with these people. When our community is in trouble no one is going to come help us.

  36. yup i dont understand why all these liberals feel so much pity for them and never hold them to the standard they expect from the rest of us? It doesnt make any sense. And who made this term Islamophobia? I mean we have lived next to these people for centuries and know what our ancestors went through lol. Its not an irrational fear.

  37. You know what it is? It's all about ensuring his "brand" stays relevant and in obedience to the social politics of today. If he's hardcore "Sikhs First", that by itself suggests a sort exclusionary attitude that most people have been conditioned to believe is automatically an extremist stance by dint of it prioritising one particular group at the expense of others. Sikhs, for some reason, are prohibited from expressing their exclusive interests. That kind of attitude wil hit him in the pocket. Ultimately, when you cut away the bull5hit about fund-raising and "sarbat da bhalla" that's all that matters to these people who rise to prominence and are promoted by the Establishment. What's infuriating is that Muslims organisations aren't held to this standard, which is why their people are making so much progress in the public arena because they don't have to adhere to this standard. I still don't get how we got from their extremists killing thousands of Westerners in Western lands, to them being the object of pity even when they embody such an inflexible and unforgiving attitude.

  42. Eggs are not the same thing as meat. That is the whole point of the discussion. If they are not fertilised please explain to me how they "ARE the animal in the early stage of development"? Unfertilised eggs do not have an embryo. There is no way they can form an animal. You say that "it is part of a category of food that we cannot consume. simple as that." but provide no justification to back this up. This is exactly the reason why I started this thread so people more knowledgeable than me could point me to the evidence where it says we are forbidden from eating eggs (either in the form of specific Shabads or the Rehat Maryada). The issue is also entirely separate from alcohol. There is absolutely no question that alcohol is not permitted in Sikhism. Besides the many bad effects on general health it also affects your mind and when you are intoxicated you cannot keep your mind on God. The same thing with other drugs. Just because something has been considered a norm for sometime does not mean that we cannot try to find out the reasons behind it or be inquisitive. The definition of a Sikh is a learner. Guru Ji did not want us just to be blind followers who never ask any questions and there are several examples of Guru Ji going against certain traditional practices of their times to prove this point. For example, Guru Nanak Dev Ji visiting Haridwar and offering water in the opposite direction to all the Hindu pilgrims. Another example is Guru Gobind Singh Ji on his way to Deccan when he bowed to the grave of a Muslim saint, in violation of his own instructions to The Khalsa. However, the Sikhs protested and Guru Ji agreed to be judged and fined by the Panj Pyare. Later he disclosed that he did all this to test his Sikhs to see whether they cared more for their principles. Now I am not trying to compare myself to the actions of Guru Ji (which would be one of the stupidest things one can do) but my understanding from these Sakhis are that Guru Ji encouraged Sikhs to not only be humble but also to think for themselves if something does not seem right. That is why I was humbly requesting that if someone can actually point me to anywhere where it says that eggs are not to be consumed by Sikhs I will be very grateful. Like I said already I am not here to convince people to eat eggs and neither do I eat eggs myself. I am here to learn. Sorry for the long reply and I apologise if anything came out the wrong way. 43. Good fair points and We should make the effort in resourcing the milk from more natural and humane sources. You mention that the eggs, no matter if fertilised or not contain animal proteins.- AND YES, this is a sort of cannibalism if we look at it in this manner BUT milk also contains the same animal nutrients, so we can't just ignore and make different rules for that can we ?
