  2. Anyway, I am eager now for @MisterrSingh to provide examples of UK Sikh families living in complete isolation who showed the world how tough they are and gave him an opportunity to beat his chest.

  4. The fact that you think Americans go around driving through different states regularly again shows your ignorance. It is much easier to travel from the UK to various European destinations than it is to travel between American cities that are far apart. Also, I know what you meant by "Europeans" through your British lenses, but saying "most Europeans" don't easily move around from one separate nation to the next is actually kind of funny considering how regularly continental Europeans do just that. You are much more likely to see British Sikhs on holiday in various European capitals where the local Sikhs are in precarious situations than you are to see a Sikh from southern California visiting Milwaukee (why on Earth would someone visit Milwaukee?). Anyway, all of that is really beside the point. And you bringing up language and customs to try to deflect is pretty lame. My comment was clearly meant to illustrate how absurd it is that you people think that Sikhs living thousands of miles apart from each other can somehow act together as a community in the same way as Sikhs living in high density a few miles from each other. I had to use different countries in the example because I can't find any two points on your island that are far enough apart.

  7. Aside from the fact that the Republicans are just the other side of the rigged game, this is evidence of how to destroy a powerful man in this day and age when murder isn't on the cards: destroy his reputation. Accusations of rape, sexual misdemeanours, etc, are the go-to method.

  8. Well exposed on "Sham" Sister. I am not sure he is a far left commie but he is a rabid Pakistani puppet and for him to describe Singhs on Twitter as Incels but support pedophiles like Lord Nazir Ahmad along with the other Pakistani puppet Pannun is a joke. 1. Paji I just wanted to put forward that the "defund the police" mantra isn't what it seems to be and a better comparable might be if Sikhs in the 1990's were wanting the state to "defund Punjab Police". The word "defund" is toxic is should be replaced with "what alternative uses of the overall prison and police budget can yield better outcomes if re-invested in educating African American children and improving social indices in that community", for example (as per the link). https://www.vox.com/the-highlight/21430892/defund-the-police-funding-abolish-george-floyd-breonna-taylor-daniel-prude Ie if $250 billion is spent annually in America on the combined budget for Policing (approx $150 billion) and Prisons (approx $100 billion) the argument is that allocating, for example, $50billion of that figure towards educating and uplifting African American children whilst cutting the profits of the privatised prison system companies would yield greater results for society. 2. I agree with much of what you say but Sikhs need to be careful that if all Sikhs start to avoid enrollment in Diaspora Police forces then there are larger communities that will likely control policing to the detriment of Sikhs. Ie greater Sikh and African Diaspora representation are needed in the Police. But I agree it's insulting when they set up their stalls at the Gurdwara. But being antagonistic against the Police purely for the sake of it will get us nowhere as a minority. We as a Panth can still criticise racist or anti-Sikh police officers or systemically racist police departments when need be. But having no Sikh or low levels of minority representation in local Police forces leads to the events like Ferguson in America where a majority black community was controlled and brutalised by mainly white police. Similarly when 80% of the Punjab-based recruits into the racist British Empire's Indian Army representation from Punjab were Muslims, much as it pains me to say it, had there been zero Sikhs with Army training the situation during the 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs could have been far worse. Sister you are totally correct to highlight these frauds but it would be more accurate to describe Sham etc as Pakistani puppets. As he call Singhs who oppose his pimping for the Pakistani terrorist regime as "incels" yet his best friend Lord Nazir Ahmad is all good in Sham's eyes despite being a convicted pedophile. It is beyond belief that Sham will never refer to the 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs during which 25% of Sikhs there were killed but because the Pakistani ISI bankroll him and the American clown Pannun they are suddenly the best terrorist regime on Earth. Note how 3 of the 5 below are Pakistani's and how Pannun's aim was to give $19million to the Pakistani terrorist regime (and raised by him from gullible Sikhs). Pamma the one with the Dastar lived for so many years in his beloved Pakistan that he has lost the plot about how much money the Pakistani terrorist regime makes from drug sales to Sikh youth in east Punjab and these 2020 types want more and more of their Muslim brothers to settle in east Punjab. All the the time these clowns like Sham are promoting Pakistan, we as Sikhs are heading closer to becoming a minority in Punjab by the 2031 census (and our eye is being taking off the ball regarding that by these 2020 Pakistani puppets) and the vital need for us to support poor Sikhs and the below replacement Sikh birth rate and massive levels of abortion going on in east Punjab along with Pakistani supplied drugs. The biggest thing we as Sikhs now need after the last 40 years in east Punjab is a period of stability, peace and economic growth via inward investment from overseas Sikhs yet Sham idiotically advocates armed struggle against India in 2022 not realising that India has a $3trillion economy (and a military budget 10 times bigger than what it was in 1984) and is courted and supported by all of the West and Russia and on the trajectory to being a $42trillion economy by 2050. https://www.statista.com/statistics/262742/countries-with-the-highest-military-spending/ Bhai Jagraj Singh was 100% correct that armed struggle for Majha and Malwa (as Doaba is already majority non-Sikh) in this current time will yield zero results but parchaar to 250 million Dalits throughout India and the one billion poor people who are falsely defined as "Hindu's" by the BJP can achieve Khalsa Raj of a bigger kind without bloodshed which will benefit no one (least of all us as Sikhs). Sister, I think Paji meant the openly non-Sikh Punjabi traitors whose parents or ancestors were Sikhs as the ones who are the most disloyal collaborators like so many in Punjab Police and these various clown singers working for RAW and Muslim or Hindu owned record labels.

  9. It's all a question of scale I guess. Most Europeans don't think like Americans in the way you're conveying hopping from one separate nation to the next like it's a road trip where people drive through states. Stuff like language, culture / local customs, etc., are all rather concrete and definite over here. I don't think you have to learn a completely new language when you get to Milwaukee in order to converse with the locals. Borders are a thing although I guess you Commie ret4rds are determined to eliminate them, lol.

  10. I'm not sure it's an accurate idea, lol. I was a bit hyper. I think we notice the sell outs more keenly because when they turn coat, it seems to be really quite horrible to see one of your own almost relishing the betrayal. I don't think we're any more or less traitorous than other groups.

  11. By the way, I'm sorry I didn't recognize all of the UK Sikhs who live in "heavily mixed non-Sikh areas." It must be incredibly isolating not living in Southall, but instead living a whopping 5 miles away from it!

  12. The obvious reason why American Sikhs are unable to respond as a community to various things is staring you right in the face: no population density, nothing resembling a "community," and in turn no power or influence. But rather than accept the obvious answer, you want to take this opportunity to engage in some pointless chest-beating. Is there something in the water there that makes you people (who come from the same culture and same pinds) different? Let me ask you something about UK Sikhs. Why can't you do anything about the sorry state of Sikhs in France? No, don't tell me that France is a different country. It is a hell of a lot easier to get from London to Paris than it is from my family's home to the various places mentioned in this thread. And while you are at it, why don't you put on your mask and cape and go sort out the Italians mistreating Sikh farm workers in Italy? I would have to travel twice as far to get to Milwaukee as you would to get to Rome. Sikhs in France and Italy and Germany are MUCH more a part of your community than Sikhs in New York or Milwaukee are a part of mine. That's how ludicrous you guys sound when you talk about the US.

  13. in this fun, innocent way it's kind of ok. they are also preserving some folk stories and sayings in their boliyaan. It's only when people start obsessing over bhangra competitions and also these bhangra songs and videos which objectify women and use lyrics which dumb down our community, that's when things are going bad and we need to concentrate more on our sikhi, learning bani and history, and even preserving raag music and raag keertan etc.

  14. How many Sikhs in the West (if goreh let us into football, the bhainchods) would have the balls to brazenly do this? Instead, you'd have them either completely disavow Sikhi, or scour Guru Granth Sahib to dig out tenuous and obscure references that endorse LGBT behaviour.

  15. It's hard to tell, but what I think is highly likely is that if we have a stronger 'Panjabi cultural identity' than a Sikh one, we'll be forever complaining about the other communities that put their faith first over their culture and how they are more cohesive than us, and achieve more. I recognise we can't be all sombre and serious all the time as a quom, and that fun is essential in life, but I guess it's the context and arrangements for this that make a difference. We know we've actually helped put some of our own in the hands of predators in the past through this. A balance has to be achieved, and me personally, I think that a strong primary Sikh identity with a deeply rooted (but shrewd) empathy and brotherly/sisterly affection for your own, and a desire and will to actively participate in developing your community is paramount. Folk dancing can be a fun, temporary relief from things, but when we excessively focus on that to the detriment of developing in other key areas, we'll only be at a constant disadvantage to other more astute, better organised, forward thinking groups.

  16. A concerted consistent effort to raise a generation that has a strong Sikh identity and fidelity would be logically central. The current fractious political, regional, caste based norm that most are raised in does not help one bit in this. We cannot rely on any institutes to do this, it has to be a ground level, personal movement. But bypassing and subverting the established norms wont be easy and will take time (a generation or two), people have to aim for that. The other thing that I am truly baffled at, are the attitudes of the authorities here towards Sikhs - a lot of the suspicion and covert hostility directed towards any Sikhs who are even slightly freethinkers, or have even the slightest independent streak and are active in safeguarding their community (without breaking the law)? I mean we've had real serious social issues and carnage here from other communities who don't get that type of scrutiny and resentment. Personal message to any state intelligence services types who may be monitoring: whatever some brothers and sisters have done here was done for the right reasons - protecting the most vulnerable members of the community from horrific abuse - you should get over yourselves and see it as it is, even more so now that we know that the police and social system here have historically been completely ineffectual in combatting such abuse, as is evident in multiple locations across the nation. Thankfully because of the efforts of certain Sikhs, serial abusive perpetrators will now have a tougher time in hiding their crimes in the face of apathy. Real good has been done, and vulnerable females especially will benefit from it. You should be recognising this, and being thankful for it, instead of being paranoid and resentful about it. Seriously.

  17. I hesitate to write this. But from snippets of convos I've had with tonday (with previously street backgrounds who've now settled into careers) who have friends/family in the police force, it looks like a few of their police associates are more than willing to break/bend rules for their family/friends. Harass people, use the computer systems to inform/forewarn them of things going on etc. That's a big difference from apnay who join, who seem to be determined to be what goray used to call a 'jobsworth' going that extra mile to prove their loyalty and having no problem throwing their own under a bus. Having a force full of such people with such mind-sets isn't really going to do the wider panth any great favours. As alluded to by others previously - if anything they would go that extra mile to show their masters where their loyalty lies by explicitly targeting their own, and helping to create 'intelligence networks'. Apnay in the UK need to be acutely aware of this reality. We need people to join who wont be tools against their own - but such people are unlikely to want to join up.

  18. Fair play, this is accurate as evidenced recently in the UK where Muslims seem to be flooding into law enforcement and related sectors, and that's never going to be a good thing for Sikhs no matter what the sell-outs in our community will claim. If they want to recruit, then fair enough, but we all know that when Sikhs gain these positions, in times of conflict they tend to defer to the authority paying their bills instead of siding with their own kind. That is a big problem, and I'm not sure there's a solution to it.

  25. Those wooden things are called ‘Persian Clubs’ which are used to strengthen hand grip and shoulders. Dangal Wrestlers (Pehlwans) still use them as part of their daily training. Bodyweight momentum squats and ‘Hindu pushups‘ as they are known are the core exercises used to develop strength. Also pushing and pulling trees is also an old exercise which was used to develop strength. The key to getting strong was always to do massive quantities of repetitions with these exercises, have daily massages and consume lots of nuts, milk and gheeoh!

I have been to funerals and noticed that the soul has left the body and the body looks like it is in Samadhi state. 30. Why does this shock you? Many monay think its amusing to ridicule the Khalsa saroop all the time, referring to Singhs pejoratively as "babbay" or "gianis". If people like that actually knew any shabads, they would probably denigrate shabads too. Now we have someone like jusreign, who used to be a Singh (and who probably, I'm guessing, used to make more of an effort to behave like a proper Sikh than he does these days) that's so desperate to win approval from the secular majority that he has resorted to such disgusting antics. It's sad.

  31. Are air guns legal in the UK? I have been trying to buy one but cant seem to find any online stores that you can purchase from. I know ebay bans any type of air gun for sale. For people that dont know, air guns looks exactly like the real thing. It makes a loud bang when you press the trigger. This is caused by air pressure. You can also put some kind of projectile inside. But its more of a harmless type of thing. Used to scare wild life pests away by the loud noise. Anyway anyone purchased one. I know they are available in India. Which is why I was thinking of buying from there then bringing it over. But then I am not sure if they are allowed in luggage as some airline ban them. The only things I have found is some very toy like pellet gun on amazon and ebay. But they are very toyish type and more for kids. I was looking for something more professional.

  32. As far as i'm aware you can buy them online but i'd recommend finding a local store (there's plenty of them about) and going in and chatting to them, they aren't specifically prohibited in the UK but the more powerful ones will come under the firearms act and could get you into trouble if they're the ones you want, like i said, find a local store and speak to them. I wouldn't even think about bringing one back from India or anywhere else unless you like orange jumpsuits and want to spend the next few years at her majesties pleasure. What you hunting anyway, the local giani's...

  33. I'll have to give it further thought, but regarding your question I'd say it's something unique to us in our makeup that is evident in notable moments in our history as a community, when certain of our own have disgraced and betrayed their fellow Sikhs for some form of gain (on a scale of varying magnitude). Also, our sense of fairness and desire to be viewed as objective is taken to extremes by some of our people who lack the wisdom and insight to appreciate how we also have a duty to elevate our profile in a positive way that doesn't undermine our standing amongst other groups who are hostile to our collective interests and our existence. If that means battening down the hatches and occasionally keeping things in-house, then so be it. Being a comparative minority we have every right to exert our rights for our self-interest. But we simply lack the foresight and intelligence to think that far ahead for ourselves. It's one of the reasons I feel we will slip further into irrelevance as the years go by. There's very little loyalty in our collective consciousness, and when larger, more powerful and influential groups observe this behaviour in subordinate groups, you best believe they're rubbing their hands in glee at the potential for subverting and controlling that particular group. But you'll never hear anyone in our faith talking of such issues. Mostly everything that is a key marker of positive growth and prosperity in a non-material manner for any thriving community, is stagnant for us in many ways. Spiritually, we are dead. Even our overt displays of religiosity are in many ways nothing but a performance for the benefit of impressing others or in some cases acts of wilful self-delusion. Apologies for the early morning black pills, lol.

Aren't the paintings painted that way because kings were just represented in that style? Persian style? Does anyone have any other evidence (than the painting) that was actually the style of turban worn by Guru Sahib?

  40. This, while unfortunate, is a predictable consequence of Angela Merkel's idiotic invitation to a million mostly fake refugees to come to Europe per year. If that wasn't enough, Europe is welcoming former ISIS jihadis back with open arms, and giving them welfare benefits! Sweden is giving them free housing and benefits. In such an environment, it would be surprising if all Europeans were not getting angry at Muslims. Of course (unfortunately) a lot of people mistake us for Muslims, so we're getting the brunt of their anger. By the way, I would ask you consider what we would feel if the government of India were to invite a half million Muslims from either Pakistan or maybe Africa to come and settle in Punjab, and then we have to pay for them. I dare say that people would be looking angrily towards all black people, even if they were there legally attending college.
