The Kirpan that you got from Mehta then; if its not got the same designs on both sides it means it isn't Taksali. Sorry am just assuming you are looking at Taksali Kirpans. But if you are Taksali and follow that Reyath Maryadha then you Kirpan should be made of Sarbloh, it should have the same design on both sides, should be sharp - just as any Taksali Kirpan is, and the minimum length should be 9 inches long. When you do buy a Kirpan, whether it's from Mehta or Bhindran Kalan just ask them 'I'm looking for a Taksali Kirpan'; they should place infront of you Kirpans from Mehta and Bhindran Kalan.

Yes go on Sundays, also try and find out when there are Smagams (programmes) being held; get involved make it your weekly goal that your going to go the Gurdwara. Try and do as much Sangath as possible. With their Dharshan you will probably be a Granthi one day lol. :e: :nihungsmile:

I just don't understand how someone can take Amrith - supposedly give their head to Guru Gobind Singh Ji - and still come infront on Vaheguru and act like their true - i wouldn't be able to live with that guilt. There isn't really any difference. Almost every place are selling Kirpans from Bhindran Kalan. Only difference is the ones that you buy from Bhindran Kalan have been made with deep detail.
