WJKK WJKF, Is there anyone on this forum whi can tell me if there are still Gatka classes held in Baba sang Gurdwara in Smethwick. I have beeb to the Gurdwara on Friday 6.30pm to 8pm and have not seen anything. I have even tried to contact the Gurdwara commitee members, who say that there are no classes here, but that there are lessons at Oldbury gurdwara. I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me. All I know is that a Maan Singh teaches at Baba Sang Gurdwara, does anyone go there to learn, if so what is the lessons like? WJKK WJKF, Dear Veerji, theShastarMan.com is reliable and I have ordered from him, I have never had a problem with the level of service. I must tell you that it has been a while since I last placed an order about August 2008. Anyway, I am too after a Kara with claws, I think they are called Jamdhar Kara, I know that nihangsingh.com can make them, but there may be an issue in getting them over to the Uk. let me know if you know of anyone in the UK who has them. VJKK VJKF Dear Veerji, This problem with muslims is never going to go away. Sikhs should stick together, but we have nothing in common that will keep us together. You mention Islam and muslims will get together in numbers. Yes, sikhs need to fight back, but we have been wrapped up in cotton wool for too long - told not to fight - get a good education etc. Muslims are into weight training - boxing - gang culture and violence. We don't fight back because we have no back-up and we don't want police trouble. I have been thinking hard about this aswell, we need martial arts classes where we can build some unity and attch with this basic knowledge of sikh history. Hi all, I have emailed Shastar Man, he has explained in bits about his problem. He is reluctant to tell everything, but from what he has saio on his email, it has the potential of exploding out of control. He doesn't want police involvement as his family thinks that there could be reprisals. The muslims are acting hard because they are in large numbers, out Veerji is alone with his family. I will try and help in anyway that i can. I personally think that violence is not the answer, but sometimes these muslims only can understand pain. Anyway who mentioned Gully from southall, who is he? Is he good at dealing with these issues? Let me kow.

VJKK VJKF Dear veerji, It would be good if you could clarify abit more, what is the problem? Are they harassing girls? causing trouble etc I can appreciate that you don't want to give too much away. But from my experience it usually is either:- 1. harassing guys at school/college/universities 2. harassing oursikh sisters 3. picking on innocent families i.e. old men and women Is it one of these? I eat meat and drink alcohol - you need it to be a warrior! 3. Told all students to remove kara's before entering his class 4. Swore at local gatka teachers - calling them parts of the female anatomy 5. Sikhs are part of hinduism 6. he swears in his class - non stop So now you tell me Veerji, the great Akali Baba Mohinder singh Ji - found only this TWAT to teach SV to? Nobody else in the whole world, no one but this twat? Why couldn't he have taught some gursikhs, who are not anti-panthic, or sponsored by the indian government?WHY? That is the reason i didn't go back. And never will - i state again, the puratan sikhs could use vidiya on the battlefield because they had the power of NAAM! What has Mr SV got? -- -BAD BREATH! VJKK VJKF Dear Veerji, No offence taken. I will state again that I have no problem with people learning Shastar Vidiya at all! However I do not agree with the Hindu slant that is taken in the class. No offence to Hindus at all. but Mr SV does drop sly comments about Hinduism to confuse people in his lessons. How do I know this? Because I have been to his akhara in Birminghm and experienced first hand. I do not wish to put money into his pocket so that he can go on confusing little children (who only want to learn self defense) about sikhism and ruining lives in the process. He is very clever ans sly! Also what he teaches wil not work when put under an extreme adrenalised pressure test - you will simply get a log jam of techniques i.e. not knowing what to do. I just wanted a book on gatka for the following reasons:- 1. to see if there are different types of pentras 2. to see if there is any mention of hand to hand fighting i.e. unarmed combat Thats all. I don't want to buy any books on shastar Vidiya - since my views are not in-line with the people who teach this art. I have no problem with the art. Please, i don't want to start a war of words. I have heard of a book by Nanak Dev Khalsa - Dance of the sword, does anyone have this? I will buy it if anyone has a copy. VJKK VJKF

VJKK VJKF Dear all, We need to face a few facts about these conversions:- 1. Muslim population is spreading all over the UK - they go to an area and basically swamp the place - eventually people (non-muslims) move out of the area - the area then becomes a 'muslim' area. This will happen eveywhere - FACT! 2. The Muslim community are all united in propagating Islam in any way or form - using multiple births - using women from other communities to produce babies - FACT! 3. They have alot of unity - hang around in big numbers - who are ready to fight and kill at the drop of a hat - most of these groups are layabouts and are located in certain areas - they phone each other as soon as they have a problem - FACT! 4. We sikhs have no unity at all - Nothing - FACT! a sikh sees another sikh walking past on the pavement - they will turn their heads the other way - FACT! 5. We need real education at grass roots level in our gurdwaras - teach children from 5+ about sikhism - our history - religion etc Note: Sikh History - not punjabi classes 6. We need proper counselling services available - with sikh people trained - who can provide support for anyone who has or is having trouble with conversions, harrassment etc 7. We need to have martial arts classes in every gurdwara in the UK, please note i mean arts like mma, thai boxing, krav maga, western boxing - not GATKA! 8. We need to have a jatha who will be trained in these arts - say 20-30 guys - in every major city in the UK - who can come together to set up a group - if the need arised - sorry but muslims sometimes can only be taught by PAIN! 9. Parents need to get involved in their childrens lives, what they are my kids doing, who they are meeting, why are they on the internet at home upstairs in their bedroom alone? have they really gone to do extra work at college/uni? 10. kids need to tell their parents if they ae having problems at school, college, uni, the parents are the first port of call I might have missed a few points, but i there are any of my sikh brothers or sisters out there who want to start something, then please PM me. I have talked to my local gurdwara about this but got a very negative response. VJKK VJKF Sikhs are being attacked from all communities in the Uk, muslims, blacks, whites, hindus etc You always hear that a sikh has got his butt kicked etc We were once the warrior nation that saved hindu women from mughals. Where has the warrior spitit gone? We can't even fight one to one, let alone sava lakh seh ek laroun! We don't train in martial arts that are real, we have no unity within our community, what the hell is going on? Every community walks all over us, we have become a laughing stock. Don't you think it is time that we had a jatha of 20-30 guys in every city within the UK, who will be able to generate a force by sticking together if the need arised? Don't you think we need training in all gurdwaras around the country? Don't you think we need educating in our rich sikh history in every gudwara, not punjabi classes but sikh history ? VJKK VJKF Sardar Hari singh nalwa was a fierce sikh warrior. The Afghans were scared of him and his army. Being a true Khasla - Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa would not touch women or children of the afghans. The afghan men started to grow their hair and wear salwars to disguise themselves as women - that is fact! This is how afghans/muslims came to wear the salwar - which they call their national dress. VJKK VJKF Hi, I have to agree with you my friend, basically sikhs have lost the warrior edge. This is because of a number of factors:- 1. Training - we think that we are in no danger now in the present day, hence we don't train 2. If we do train, then it is in arts that are unrealistic 3. We are more obsessed with making money i.e. big homes, businesses, cars etc 4. We are into enjoying ourselves i.e. partying, drinking, etc 5. We have no unity within our community i.e. if we are having trouble who do we have as back-up? So when we do find ourselves in confrontational situations we don't retaliate becuse we will get out numbered. 6. We don't understand our rich sikh heritage i.e. saint soldier past 7. Our religion is being underminned and made a mockery of by other religions, so we get a bad opinion of ourselves I believe that they are some of the reasons why we get beatings in every fight. Please note the following:- There are murders going on in pakistan - where muslims are killing muslims each day, are they complaining about that? Go to the pakistani embassy in the UK and put up your banners their aswell! What about saudi arabia allowing their airzone to be used to carry out missions in iraq, are british muslims complaining at the saudi embassy? why not? Go to the Saudi embassy in the Uk and put your banners up there as well! There was a iran-iraq war that carried on for years and years, again muslims killing muslim? did british muslims complain at the iranian and iraq embassies in the UK then? No! Why not? These people are 2 faced, they want the british government to backdown to their every demand! Its got nothing to do with foreign policy, all they want is an islamic state in the Uk - So slowly they can introduce Islam into this country and eventually Sharia law! Thats what all this is about!
