This is where we fail as Sikhs because we cant decide between ourselves what constitutes a Sikh. Go to a paki kebab shop you will see hundreds of books cd's even the Koran on the counter. Its there because they know while you are waiting for your kebab and chips after a skinfull of alcohol you will look at it. In the day time all the school kids will go in and naturally be intrigued and that is music to their inbred ears. Go into our Sikh temples and they have a "stall" yes a market stall where they are selling some CD's and other materials. All so that the committee can buy bigger cars. Then we have the cases of these converts where they want to come back to Sikhi after been the local paki bike. Of course we welcome them back with open arms. The pakandi singhs will say that guru ji gives forgiveness to ever one, I say unless you modernise your faith to deal with modern times, and do it dam quickly, you wont have no faith left. The days of "kara prashad de degh" solving all your issues are long over. Even the Christian faith has modernised itself recently surely that should be a tell tale/wake up sign to us all.

Its all on cctv i am reliable informed. I have zero intrest in gurdwara poltics and all I ask for is 20 minutes or so in the morning sangat on a Sunday.

Thank you finally someone agrees that his actions were wrong. Its ironic that when this same car park was been brought the same committee was very vocal in saying that every household should donate £1000 towards it. I was personally instrumental in the purchase of this car park. Rest assured that I am as anti Sikhs as Osama bin Laden was pro American. However what does rattle me is these people who think they are above others just be cause they appear to be in authority.

The big difference between me and you is that I don’t feel the need to advertise the fact you obviously do, no doubt to justify to yourself. There are two types of Sikhs in this world now the Akali Singh’s and the Shakali Singh’s. Regretabbly the days of the true warrior Sikh have long gone. Akali - has understating and comprehension about the faith and is in tune with that he is required to do to be a good upstanding Sikh and tries his best to do so. However he does not have the physical attributes to identify him as a Sikh to Joe public. Shakali – has turban and kirpan and all the other attirubutes that identify him to Joe public as a Sikh, however he has no comprehension of what is required to be a good upstanding Sikh. He is lost in the myth that because he bears all the physical attributes of a Sikh he is more supreme to those who don’t. These are the types that very quickly go into defence mode and start taking of other Singhs dastars in gurdwaras. You been from Wolverhampton will know all about the recent events at Sedgley Street. I don’t think much debate is required to ascertain what category of sikh you fall into! I do see them as my brothers its a pitiful shame that they don't see it the same way. r u a turban sikh? The committee there is no different to any other place ie corrupt. The family involved are also Turban Sikhs yet the person trying to park wasn't and he was told that he could not park as he wasn't a sikh. These blue turban people that carry the spears and wear long swords have taken over there. So no doubt there will be a demise of this temple as well very shortly.

A person was refused entry to the Willenhall Temple car park by one the Pahkandi singhs. He was told that he wasn't a Sikh and could not park there. What should be the resolution to this!

What is happening at Willenhall temple? I hear one granthis was caught drinking beer at an airport, so they dismissed him eventually. Then the next granthi was supporting him and telling the people who reported him to lie so eventually they dismissed him as well. Now both granthis had filled a case for unfair dismissal or constructive dismissal or whatever nonsense it’s called these days. The hearing was due in Feb. this year. So after spending thousands on legal bills etc. The committee then decided to settle and pay each of them 15K yes that’s Fifteen thousand pounds EACH. So this is a real good business to be in you pretend to be a priest, drink alcohol and do beadbi of the guru granth sahib. When you get dismissed you get 15K for the privilege. The committee in Willenhall is very corrupt. They are some drinkers themselves and since the new hall has been built these clowns and goons have taken over. Anyone else have any more information about this I would rather have a full case before we challenge these jokers.

Firstly I think this topic has been covered in another thread so is there any point in duplicating efforts? Secondly “Kick them out.” You want to be careful what you say the “social do gooders” on this board will accuse you of showing hatred towards the Muslim “brothers”. I recall when I raised such a similar issue about a year ago all the threats I got all from what I would call the “chemeta tribe” on here i.e. those who are good for playing chemtas in gurdwaras and have no idea of what goes on in the real world outside.

This is nothing but yet another attempt by the government to keep the Punjab behind everyone else. What do they expect when they won’t give the routes to anyone? BA and Virgin both wanted routes to Amritsar yet they would not give them. Jet airways have stopped there direct flight form the 21st Nov (I think), It will land at Delhi then after you have “identified your luggage” it will go to Amritsar. They told a close relative of mine that it was due to weather conditions. I know they had a serious incident there recently. Depends on who you speak to they claim that they are closing that airport down to International traffic due to a threat from Pakistan. How can you justify double the landing charge compared to the capital city of India? It’s like saying it cost you twice as much to land at Bam than it will at Heathrow, logic, I think not. Ultimately like always the Indian government is holding back the prosperity of the Punjab. They have seen that the city is beginning to prosper and that they are losing traffic to Delhi during this economic downturn so like always let’s make the Punjab suffer. Long for the days when we get an Independent Punjab away from these Hindus.
