  1. My brother I agree with you but the Nishaan Sahib is not a mere flag.
  2. Singh the only thing the "Chamar" community need to do is, rename all of their Gurdwaras, accept Amrit Sanchar, use the normal ardaas and jaikaaras of the Khalsa Panth and thats it job done, i know its easier said than done but if the Chamar community really want to come under the fold of the Khalsa Panth thats whats gotta be done.
  3. Gonna be a sick program. Hope to see all the Khalsa Fauj there tyaar bar tyaar. :nishaan_sahib_right:
  4. What do people think war is like? Jang back in them days werent pretty, blood, guts, limbs everywhere... Nowadays soldiers hardly ever see their enemy face to face but in those days close quarter combat was the norm and battles were a blood bath.. Khalsa Fauj used to be full of Bir Ras, they were true warriors, not no hippys like most of the Singhs nowadays..Dont get anger and Bir Ras mixed up.. Jangs back in the day arent no fairy tale, that was real life war...The film Braveheart gives a good idea on what war was like back then.. The artist did a great job in capturing the emotions of maharaj, great pic..
  5. From the article it looks like they are promoting shabad guru and yoga techniques. Great seva no doubt, theyre going into run down areas where people are living in boxes and providing them with guru ka langar, i got a lot of respect for them. Surinderjit what has the shabad you posted got anything to do with the seva 3HO are doing? How does it relate?
  6. Its a part of maryada wether you like it or not. Listen to katha below, Giani Ji breaks down why Singhs do jhatka at Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji Akhand/Sehaj Paath Bhogs. Giani Ranjeet Singh Dam Dami Taksal http://www.g5sikhmedia.co.uk/media/events/...ia_R09_0002.MP3
  7. Budda Dal and Taruna Dal were the first Dals created during Misl Period. Bidhi Chand Dal and Nanak Dal came about during the 1900s if im not mistaken. Hopefully Freed could shed some more light. Bhul Chuk Maaf Karna
  8. hmm, 500,000 is roughly 2.5% of the current number of sikhs in the world. how many people are really willing to fight for khalistan? and how many of them know martial arts/gatka let alone have military training? your right, there are questions we need to ask and resolve before we can take proper steps towards achieveing it. but i think that would be better off on another thread, as we should try and concentrate on remembrance of 84 in this thread. Sat Bachan
  9. Say if we do get Khalistan, I hope everyone is ready to give up their lives here and go join Khalistans Armed Forces as we will need a minimum of up to 500'000 ground troops alone to defend any sort of attack, which no doubt will come pretty soon after the declaration of independance. We havent got no Navy, no Airforce, no real links for arms. We havent even got a leader who the whole Panth will follow. The farm lands are said to be drying up also and we shouldnt rely on the farms for our main source of income into the country. We need to think about how we will raise money for our Armed Forces and National Health Service etc. A sound infastructure is needed so that as a nation we are self sufficient. What natural resources has Punjab got that will provide the nation and its citizens with security? Or what else can we export that will give Khalistan a stable economy. I think Japans a good example of a developed country with little natural resources, maybe we could look at their infastructre and see how they run. I am all for Khalistan and want it to happen just as much as the next Singh but theres a lot of questions which need to be raised and answered. Theres no point shouting out Khalistan Zindabad at protests, we need to get real ground work done for Khalistan. We need good politicians who have sound knowledge of how successful governments are run with the best interest of the people of Khalistan in their hearts, not maya. In the meantime every Singh / Kaur needs to start training, get in good physical shape, take up a practical martial art (remember just doing weights in the gym doesnt make u a good fighter), read books, arm yourself with knowledge.

  11. My Brother, the above confused me..So Guru Gobind Singh Ji is not your Guru and his Bani is not your Guru? To me Dasam Patshas Gurbani is equal to any other Gurbani, i dont see a difference. Although I dont agree with your opinion I will respect it. In return please respect mine and others opinion when they use the title Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib Ji. Also a point to note is the Guru is with the Dasam not the Granth. Bhull Chuk Maaf Karni Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  12. Aad Darbar, Dasam Darbar, Sarabloh Darbar are all Shabad Guru, there is no difference. Please dont question a Singhs Satkar for Gurbani. baanee guroo guroo hai baanee vich baanee a(n)mrith saarae || The Word, the Bani is Guru, and Guru is the Bani. Within the Bani, the Ambrosial Nectar is contained. Dhan Dhan Guru Ram Das Ji Maharaj tells us Guru and his Bani are no different, so who are we to question this bachan? Hanji Singh, Im pretty sure this tukh is from Sarbloh Darbar Sahib not Dasam Dabar..
  13. Will Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib be parkash and is Aarti Aarta gonna be done Dal Panth style?
  14. True, especially since Guru Sahib wrote that his Sikhs should not come before Him without Kesh and weapons. Chalo, Jo Guru Noo Bhaunda....... P.S. Interesting lineage. Most other branches of the Bhai Daya Singh Samparda show that Baba Khuda Ji (Baba Jaswant Singh Ji) didn't have any successor. Are there any contemporary sources that state Guru Ji gave permission to remove shaster? Though I don't want to be accused of whipping a dead horse, I must address the sad prevalence of post-British perception of many here who are prone to spitefully or unknowingly demean Sehajdhari Sikhs in a way that even our Gurus NEVER did, in this spirit please consider these excerpts of the contributions of Sehajdhari Sikhs to the Panth and of Guru Gobind Singh, Mata Sundri and Mata Sahib Devi's liberal use of the word 'Khalsa' from Sikhnet: No one is demeaning "sehajdharis" and whats "post-British perception" of Sikhi got to do with Kesh being mandotary for the Khalsa Panth? Im trying to think out of the box here but I cant see how Dashmesh Patsha would allow one of his Singhs to cut his Kesh and not class it as krehit?
  15. Is that why they have now become 'sacred' hence the title of the gallery. A good seva would have been to donate the cows to the poor not keep them like some hindu sacred cows. Your sant and your sanctuary have totally ignored gurmat and has become attached to bipran ki reet. What is WRONG with you guys? Allow it man, let them do their thing..
  16. Ive heard of Mastane Sants in the Khalsa Panth beofre but never knew one to shave his dhara...Thanks for the replies to my questions though, appreciated.
  17. Not just yet... Details of the next one will be announced soon from what i hear...
  18. Gurfateh Ji Thats is not entirely true as i have been told that nirmala dont have to wear shastar i.e. Kirpan, in-order for them to obtain kachi, benaras or sanskriti vidiya as a brahmin scohlar would not teach the singhs as he saw them as kshatriya. Also the reason why they wore ghatti bana in the nirmala colours - Peach colour. Akaal But i am sure Kesh is mandatory for the Nirmala Samprada?
  19. Nice site. Its great to see more info on the Nirmala Samprada. I had 1 or 2 questions I hope you could answer. 1. Whats the significance behind the "holy cow" sanctuary. and 2. Shri Maan Swami Sant Darbara Singh Ji had a very different roop ( i.e no dastar and no dhara ) and was given the title "pundit". Was there a specific reason for this? This is the first time I have seen a Nirmala Sant with that roop. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
