    Airport

No, unless it's metal....hence 'metal detector'.
  2. Keep training with free weights, doing compound movements, and strength between the left and right side will balance out over time. By the way, punching technique is more important than brute strength - some boxing lessons will be good and bag work will toughen your wrists too.
  3. Many ways of lighting fire without matches. I know some Singhs know how to, including dass.
  4. Yesterday it was based on a rumour you got on your mobile - this is from a credible source.
  5. IF he's guilty, hope someone takes his head off. There are so many Singhs who become Gianis out of love for Sikhi, spend their whole lives learning Santhiya, Kirtan etc, but most Gurudwara committees prefer to hire cheap random faujis who'll do as they're told. Saying that, I really hope he didn't do what he's been charged with.
  6. Where does it mention 'Sikh' - all I found was that her identity is protected. Which means nobody in the media knows her name.
  7. Awesome! Try to get all the kirtan/katha on the net please - very helpful for people stuck in places without Sangat.
  8. Dalsingh: some of the guys posting in this thread are political opponents to the current committee, so don't believe everything you read. It would be good to see real proof rather than rumours. We all know that the system of elections, which is a relatively recent introduction to Panthic matters, allows dodgy people to get in, but please back up any allegations with proof.
  9. Just search sites like www.srigranth.org, you'll find what you're looking for.
  10. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! You can download it from www.jathashaheedan.com
  11. Yes, lechia are a common parshad, used to make 'sukha' parshad with mishri, badaam, pista etc.
  12. You have no problem with people who, in effect, do nindya of Guru Ji? Nobody's stopping him from doing programs in his own place, which he has been for many years. The problem arises when he begins to cause tension and even hate between different groups (us and Hindus) through his twisted interpretations of Gurbani and history and by asking (not invited!!) to speak at Gurudwaras, Mandirs etc. It's better to deal with it now rather than later. Would you sit back and let someone insult your father or mother and do nothing? All the SInghs are doing is letting the mandirs and other places know that hosting Darshan Das will likely lead to problems down the line. Guru Ji spoke out wherever other dharams have gone wrong - they were God themselves. This guy isn't even close to a grain of sand that has been touched by Guru Ji.
  13. Our Maryada was given to us by Guru Ji, you can't compare Darshan Das with Guru Ji. The thing is, he isn't even Sikh, so shouldn't interfere with us. In effect, he's no different to Radhasoamis. He outright rejects Khande Da Amrit and calls our shaheeds terrorists. What you see on tv isn't the real person - go visit his place in Birmingham a couple of times and dig deeper into who he really is and what his cult is about. He's calling Guru Sahib 'just a book' and yet you find nothing wrong? Tolerance has its limits - "Gur Ki Nind Suneh Na Kaan....."
  14. Sikha, they do preach that there is no need for Amrit, 5Ks, that Guru Granth Sahib ji is just a book, that Sikhi is not a distinct panth etc. It's better that they don't speak in the first instance, rather than us jumping on the 'beadbi' bandwagon after the deed is done. He has his own dharmshala in the West Midlands, where he can talk all he wants.
  15. One poster on that forum may support him, most appear not to and you reach your ridiculous conclusion? Have edited the title to better suit your topic.
  16. Don't take Facebook and youtube too seriously, but where you do counter their twisted logic and arguments, use good language and logic so that people who come across those pages can see the truth for themselves. Unfortunately there are always people looking to divide and rule.
  17. Dead material or not, it makes no difference to us. Guru Ji ordered his Sikhs not to cut their hair, end of. Sikhi is about following Guru Ji's hukam to us, whatever it may be.
  18. Answer to no.1 is definitely NO. The others are more personal.
  19. Thanks for that link ji, I can't believe how much rubbish he comes out with, lol.
