I dont think we should paint all nihungs with the same brush. though its kinda hard not to do this as many of their leaders have done questionable things but i beleive there still are good and Panthic Nihang Singhs out there. Here is one pic of Nihang Singhs protesting together with Singhs from Akali Dal (Amritsar). You can see them on the right hand side you can also see many nihung singhs in protests and rallys organized by Simranjeet Singh Manns party. So that is a positive sign and we should be proud that they take part.

Look at Sikh History even before 1984 and you can see the great Panthic role of Sardar Simranjeet Singh Mann. He has never backed down from supporting the Panth and goal of Khalistan which was declared in 1986 Sarbat Khalsa. Simranjeet Singh Mann has been jailed numerous times and suffered torture at the hands of the oppresive indian state. Find out that even today how many cases are registered against Simranjeet Singh Mann. How many days out of the week does he have to go to court hearings. All this because he speaks the truth and does not back down from Sikh rights. He is always been charged with more cases of sedition for speaking against the government (speaking the truth) Even his passport is taken away by hindu india. He was only elected MP who passport was taken away and he isnt allowed to travel outside of india. Why is this? because he is only Sikh political leader who speaks the truth and stands for the Panth. Infact that is not the truth at all Sant Ji give nihal singh large amount of shasters and told him to come with his men when darbar sahib is attacked. but nihal singh did nothing and just sat on the stuff. hence when word got out awhile later that he had all this stuff he was arrested. After his arrest he also made some negative comments about Sant Ji. since then nihal singhs role in the movement and morchas have been really negative and he has been doin some really weird things and joined badal/sgpc thugs and thats why they promote and support him. ask singhs who were around during that time and do a little research and you will see that this is true. sorry if anyone is offended but just though i would give a reality check. also find out who got bhai amarjeet singh daheru shaheed. bhai sahib and singhs with him of bki had first encounter with punjab police before 84, sant ji talks about this encounter in his speeches.
