  3. Actually...I'm kind of interesting in knowing your juthia story...KNowing it's coming from you...The Comedy King...Could you kindly narrate one? :D
  4. thinking realistically... I don't think sikh children are taught to fight so horribly that their dumallas fall off...That seems too harsh...I've seen children who are 2 or 3 with dumallas...And trust me...They look so adorable...They don't even fight...Forget the dumallas falling off.. But I respect your view :D
  5. Guru Sahib has prescribed this shabad to be sung in raag Soohi. This shabad is attributed to Fifth Guru, Dhan Guru Arjan Sahib Jee, hence "fifth mahala" Nirvaana is defined as So, Guru Sahib is saying that, sing praises of God, but don't have any attachment to maya while doing it. If you sing God's praises by coming above the wants of your mind, then such a kirtan, sung even for an instant shall liberate you from cycle of birth and death sqsMgiq kYsI jwxIAY ] sathasa(n)gath kaisee jaaneeai || How is the Society of the Saints to be known? ijQY eyko nwmu vKwxIAY ] jithhai eaeko naam vakhaaneeai || There, the Name of the One Lord is chanted. You can read the entire shabad here : http://sikhitothemax.com/page.asp?ShabadID=182 Waheguru!!! Ji, I wouldn't have explained it better myself... This is great =)
  6. I changed my answer. :D haha...yea...0 is good.. =)
  7. Dumallas make one's personality...Patkas just ruin it... I think there should be no patkas just dumalla starting from the age when hair are long enough...
  8. Yes, that net reminds me of people cooking food...
  9. Are there users with those names who have posted on this thread? No, then stop being a fool. No, my inner self is not guilty. I'm quite at ease with myself because I take time to read and research the things that I write about, this unfortunately is not the case with some people here whose only response to a comment is BS, slander blah blah.. Yep...I'm the only fool on this site and your the only rocket scientist...
  10. Peacemaker said the user name rhymes with reactive...It can be anything: active, attractive, hyperactive, RADIOactive?!... Why would you think Proactive?!...Did you do something wrong...thats why the inner self is guilty?!
  11. I have a question about this - does the hair still attract the vitamin D from the sun if we're wearing a dastaar? or does the hair have to be left open for this to happen? (btw, thanks for the links, very informative) ...wow! thats a real question...let me do some research...i'll get back to it... But my views are: I think probably not...but when you take a bath...you leave your hair open or in the sun for a long time until they dry...or well you keep them open...I think that time should account for this Vitamin D process... But on the other hand...When it's sunny...You will feel your hair getting warmer or sweaty under the dastar due to the sun's heat...That does mean that you are getting solar energy to your hair...so thinking about this...then yes, you do get Vitamin D!... I'm stuck between 40% for no and 60% for a yes...lol I'm not sure if you'll get my perspective...But that question is very thoughtful...I would like to find out about it...
