  3. Once upon a time there was a Singh called Babbar Singh who loved to swim in his bathtub. He also liked to sing along. His voice was not so good and anyone who he perved on got a thappar and a free slap from mummy. When he grew he became big. He loved dhudhu which made him white like makhan. Finally one day he met a likkle dogie who looked like Shah Rukh Khan but much nicer than anyone he'd ever seen before in his life and began to hug it. Then, he went to a dog food shop and found ladoo to celebrate.after he ate, he felt sick because ...the ladoo had rocks in it, the size of doggy eye balls. So he looked at the doggie and started crying. Then one day, something amazing happened. The doggie discovered invisible gatka stick & double-edged kirpaan, then lost them whilst bouncing on the wooden table and broke his diamond rolex watch. He shouted,"hai hai margaya!" ... and he died. End Of Story. Bedtime now, said your Bibi. But it wasnt. Babbar missed doggie, and the next morning he went to a scientist who was naam abhiyaasi,he brought doggie a special bone.
  4. In regards to the Windows Vista "run only as administrator" issue, that is not essential. You can turn off the user control option in the control panel which will allow other non-admin users of the vista pc or laptop to be able to run the program.

  7. Yes, Revolutionary is right. The channel has not fully launched, however i dont blame you for thinking that is! Sikhi and faith will get its own time slot on the channel, so please be assured that volunteers from Birmingham are helping and devoting as much time as they can. Sikh organisations such as RajKaregaKhalsa.net are on board in producing some shows so be assured that there will be some very good parchaar broadcast on Brit Asia that will appeal to youths from Punjabi backgrounds, as well others.

  11. SikhSangat is a very useful resource and tool to get the message out to sangat worldwide and get it out fast. Its the most popular and most talked about Sikh forum in the entire world. From my experience, it seems to be that youth who begin their path as a "practicing" Sikh, will get attached to this forum quite quick and they will use it and think its the best thing since sliced bread for a little while, but then when topics that need to be discussed of a mature or controversial nature appear, there is censorship - then, they rebel against the forum by either not being active any more or attacking the mods. But there does need to be censorship - we cant have our dirty laundry aired to the public. If you wish to debate or discuss, arrange a local or national forum (in person) and debate and discuss the issues that you feel need to be highlighted. Be pro-active. Anyone (no offence) can start an online forum. Its easier than making cha. But it takes a dedicated Gursikh to go out there in the real wide world and make a difference. In terms of freedom of speech... well, what do you value more? The sanctity of Gurus Sikhi or your freedom of speech to highlight controversy and air dirty laundry??
